1 THE DOG AND WOMAN

Marco was growling in fear but her heart didn't melt. She had to kill the animal. That's the only way for her to save herself. But how could she do that when he was the only thing left in her lonely life? How could she do that to him?

No, she had to . After all, she was still a selfish human who had to survive. All she had to do was kill the dog and eat it to fill her empty stomach.

She was trapped in this dark dungeon with Marco for a week now for stealing bread from King's palace. No one gave her a drop of water or a little piece of bread . Hence she had no other choice but to kill Marco for her survival even if she felt bad for making this innocent being her accomplice.

She anticipated the position of dog from it's growling and jumped at it but she was wrong. Her head cutted open as the sharp arrow protruding from dungeon wall pierced through her head and she died in darkness while the dog ate her flesh to fill it's empty stomach.
