Sasuke takes no prisoners

They returned to the apartment and Ryu fished for his keys, muttering "Maybe we should get a house."

Naruto jumped up and cheered "Next to Ichiraku Ramen!" Sasuke sneered "You'd be a real fatty if we moved there. We should move near the river."

Ryu commented "The river? That's so far away though… Ugh. Decisions, Decisions…" as he unlocked the door, letting the two little monsters in first.

Ryu closed the door and yawned, scraping his feet on the bristle mat. Actually there was no need for this, because his feet never got dirty.

Most of the time he was constantly in a vigilant state so that he could move quickly at any moment. So the dust simply fell off as he vibrated his feet using shave or moonwalk.

But it was a habit as he never wore shoes, alas.

He scooped up the duo and fell onto the bed, going to sleep as soon as he hit the pillow.

Naruto and Sasuke struggled briefly until Ryu started snoring, then they gave up.

Slowly they simply fell asleep as well.

A while later, in the morning

Anko dragged her tired body back to the apartment and walked inside.

She looked at Naruto, Sasuke, and Ryu sleeping together, strewn across the bed comically. Her lips twitched before smiling gently.

She stood by the bed and looked at Naruto, scratching his stomach with his feet in Sasuke and Ryu's faces. Sasuke with his hand on Ryu's eye and the other in a fist, fighting someone in his dreams.

And Ryu who was drooling with a hand touching the ground and the other behind his head with his knee under Sasuke's head and the other leg under Naruto's entire body.

Anko's eyes softened and she picked up Naruto and Sasuke, saying gently, "Boys, time for team assignments." her voice was very soft. Sasuke and Naruto turned over in her arms, saying in unison "Later, mom…" as they smacked their lips and started snoring.

Anko froze and teared up, a deeply moved smile appearing on her lips as her eyes twinkled with love. She kissed them both on their heads, saying "If you miss it, you'll never be ninja ever again~"

Sasuke and Naruto woke up groggily after that, leaning on Anko, reluctant to leave.

Anko brought them to brush their teeth before making breakfast.

Ryu yawned and grinned in his dreams, scratching his stomach, as though he had a happy thing occur.

A bit later

Anko laid on top of him and let out a breath, tickling Ryu's neck. He touched his neck and smelled a sweet smell. He opened his eyes to see Anko laying on top of him.

He smiled and hugged her, rolling over before remembering and groaning. He kissed her and got out of bed, rummaging through his desk.

He pulled out a collection of books and tied them with a string, leaving the house with just cut pants.

He traveled through the air and looked around with his Observation Haki.

He finally found Guy training with his little trio and landed down on a branch next to them.

Guy looked up and smiled excitedly, "You're here!" Ryu slipped down and yawned, dangling the books on a string.

Tenten blushed, covering her eyes but opening her fingers wide, staring at Ryu's body.

Guy didn't care and slapped Ryu's shoulder, laughing "Thanks! Really!" Ryu smiled lazily "You're my friend, Guy." Guy teared up and flashed him his signature smile, a four pointed star twinkling as always.

Ryu chuckled and turned to Tenten and Neji, saying "Come, let me see if my eyes are still good." he untied the string and passed Neji Water Breathing and gave Tenten Flower breathing.

Neji and Tenten tried to breathe according to the methods and it worked! They felt very good.

Ryu spread out the rest, asking "Does anyone want to try another?" The three shook their heads and Ryu smiled, wrapping the books up, "Keep them." Neji hesitated and said "Can I share it?"

Ryu looked at him and smiled gently, "You can do whatever you want with them. They were for the village originally." Neji smiled slightly and nodded. Ryu tapped on his head and tilted his own, smiling "Can you make a copy and pass it to Hinata for me?"

Neji stiffened and Ryu chuckled, "You don't have to if you don't want to." Neji shook his head and said firmly, "I will." Ryu nodded and ruffled his hair, turning to Guy as he smiled "I'm working on something new, though it should take a while."

Guy's eyes lit up and asked curiously "A new technique?!" The three little demons pricked their ears and Ryu shook his head, saying "A Breathing Style Sage Mode. You're familiar with Jiraiya and the Three Holy Lands, right?"

Guy nodded and Ryu explained "They have their own Sage Modes that utilizes Nature Chakra to transform into Sage Mode which is an amplification technique at its core. Anyway, it's like a safe Eight Gates but it can also upgrade and amplify the Eight Gates, so you'd be like SUPER Guy."

Guy's eyes widened in shock, and the three little devils also gasped.

Ryu shook his head and said "It's very complicated and dangerous. One wrong move and you could end up a stone statue. That's why it's taking so long. Eventually, I plan to have every breathing style have its own Sage Mode… Might be a while though." Guy sighed and said "It's really amazing!"

Ryu waved and smiled "Not that amazing. If I can resurrect the dead, that would be incredible, right?" Guy rolled his eyes and patted his shoulder, saying "Just burn your youth, Ryu!"

Ryu smiled happily and nodded before drifting slightly, instantly disappearing.

Lee pointed at the ground and shouted in shock "HOW DOES HE DO THAT?!"

Ryu was going back home when he saw something interesting.

He crouched on a tree and looked down at Sasuke and Sakura. This should be the real Sasuke…. Ryu could feel his 'breath' with his Observation Haki.

Sasuke looked around, asking "Where's Naruto?"

Sakura fake laughed "Hehe~ Don't change the subject. Who cares about Naruto?" she stuck out a finger and continued "All he does is start fights with you. Well, he doesn't have a normal childhood. He was adopted by that Demon Guy, everyone knows that Demons stay with Demons. Nobody even teaches Naruto how to act like a normal person, no wonder nobody likes him!"

As she spread her hands out, not noticing that Sasuke's eyes were colder than ice. He looked at her as she added, "He's so lucky, nobody tells him what to do! I wish I was adopted… Sigh~"

Sasuke sneered at her, "Lucky? What could you possibly know? A person with a complete family. Did you know that I live with Naruto and the so-called 'Demon Guy'?" Sakura froze and looked at Sasuke, saying "What?! I didn-"

Sasuke cut her off, saying coldly "Do you know that his name is Ryu? And that he spends all his money to take care of two orphans? No you didn't. Nobody does. Just because he grins when he's nervous everyone calls him a Devil, you're really ridiculous!" He clicked his tongue and walked away, growling icily "You're really annoying!"

Sakura was in a daze, unable to say a word, staring at Sasuke's back as he walked away.

Ryu's eyes flashed and he grinned, flickering after Sasuke silently.

Don't say that he felt happy.

Actually, he didn't care what the Villagers thought of him because they basically didn't even exist in his eyes. The world is made up of Ninja, what the hell are you doing if you're not a ninja?

You're a non-entity.

The only guy who Ryu recognized as a civilian was the boss at Ichiraku Ramen and even then, who knew what that guy's real identity was!

So, in a sense, Ryu didn't care about villagers at all, thinking of them as NPCs. If he wasn't mistaken, Sakura's parents were civilians, so it made sense that she would think like that.

He sighed to himself, Sasuke was a bit harsh, but Sakura was also very ignorant. Then again, they were kids, this is normal.
