9 Extermination?

Ryu was watching the extermination and grit his teeth, saying "Damn it!" before rushing out, leaving the roof of the Apartment.

He crashed through the roof of the Uchiha clan and landed on the ground.

He stood up and rubbed his neck, muttering "I really hate having to interfere…"

Itachi jumped and looked at him, saying in shock "You're alive!?" Ryu pursed his lips and replied "Did you think I died?" Itachi frowned and said "You'll die tonight then." Ryu curled his lips and his devil's grin resurfaced as he punched at Itachi.

Itachi's eyes widened and he dodged to the slash, slashing down with his sword.

Ryu slapped the sword away with haki covered hands, saying "You're 100 years too young to beat me, boy!" Itachi jumped away and Ryu blew a hole in the wall he was standing in front of just now.

Itachi's eyes widened and he looked at Ryu incredulously.

Ryu swung his shoulder and complained "It's been a while…"

Itachi suddenly frowned and said "Wait!" Ryu looked at him in confusion and Itachi said "It doesn't matter if you kill me. The Root will finish the job!" Ryu chuckled and flickered in front of him, punching at his head, saying "I know."

Itachi shouted "WHAT?!" as he flashed away, dodging the punch.

Itachi rolled on the ground and made seals before spitting out a fireball.

Ryu sealed quickly and a pillar of extremely hot flames burst from his mouth, devouring Itachi's flames!

Itachi ran to the side, throwing Kunai and Ryu twisted his body, dodging them as he shot off the ground instantly, shooting towards Itachi and flipping in the air, dropping his heel on Itachi's head.

Itachi sealed and clones appeared around him as he used the body flicker technique from Shisui.

Ryu's grin curled up eerily and he laughed "Fun!" as he appeared over a certain Itachi, punching at his head.

Itachi flickered away and said "How did you know?!"

Ryu grinned, "Instinct." Itachi's face was hard to look at and Ryu appeared in front of him, flicking his forehead, saying "Stupid kid, did you forget what I taught you?"

Itachi looked at him incredulously, replying "I just-"

Ryu rolled his eyes and said "I know what you just thought. I told you not to ignore Taijutsu. Your Ninjutsu and Sharingan are important but your Taijutsu makes the most of Sharingan's strengths! Our Ancestor was a super Genius at Taijutsu!"

Itachi fell silent and Ryu looked at him saying "I think you should be smart enough to know the ins and outs of the matter. Why did you still do it?" Itachi clenched his fists and said "I had no choice! The village and the clan cannot coexist!"

Ryu sighed and revealed "Did you know that Senju and Uchiha created the village in the first place? Hokage was supposed to be our Uchiha Clan. Why do you think it's called the Will of Fire?"

Itachi looked up at him silently and Ryu lit a cigarette, saying very slowly "Do you see any Senju here? How about Uchiha? After tonight, who's the biggest clan in the Village?"

Itachi froze and a shiver went down his spine as his eyes widened incredulously "You mean?!" Ryu sneered "Your little friend Shisui was brainwashed too much and you followed him. The Will of Fire is more like the Will of Sarutobi." he shook his head and sighed, "Now you have 2 options."

Itachi trembled in rage as his eyes were turning red, Ryu patted his head and said "Continue what you're doing and I will take care of Sasuke. We'll cooperate secretly and find the chance to clean out the village…" he put up two fingers and continued "Or 2, you take a gamble with me and we attack the village tonight."

Itachi shook his head and said "It's impossible!"

Ryu rubbed his chin and said "Wait. I have an idea…" he explained it and Itachi's eyes lit up as he nodded.

The two started working right away.

Itachi cast a huge genjutsu for the Root ninjas and Ryu knocked out the clansmen, taking them out of the village secretly.

He woke up Fugaku and explained the situation, telling him that he would keep Sasuke with him and Itachi would become a rebel ninja.

Fugaku's face changed several times before he finally sighed and nodded, taking the clansmen to a secluded place to settle down for the time being.

Ryu returned to the village and went home after telling Itachi that it was done.

Itachi nodded and fooled Sasuke after Ryu left, before 'fleeing the village'.

Ryu returned home and froze as he saw Anko getting stabbed in the abdomen by a Root ninja while protecting Naruto.

Ryu exploded into rage and his Conqueror's Haki smashed against the Root ninjas, rendering them unconscious.

Ryu's Sharingan rotated into a Mangekyou!

It was a sun pattern!

He rushed over to Anko and held her saying anxiously with a wide grin "Are you okay?!?" Anko smiled and replied gently "I'm not going to die." Ryo let out a breath of relief and turned to the Root Ninja with hatred flashing in his eyes.

His Sun Pattern Mangekyou spun and Ryu was cloaked in flames like a demon!

He punched out and a pillar of flames annihilated the ninjas entirely!

3000 Degree flames were no joke!

Ryu closed his eyes and blood leaked a bit. He wiped them and cursed, "Fucking bastards…" before bringing Anko inside and treating her silently.

Anko wiped the blood from his eyes and smiled "Are you okay?" Ryu smiled and nodded, "Everything is fine." Anko looked out the window at the raging fire in the distance, asking "They…"

Ryu explained with a smile, "All safe." Anko let out a breath and smiled happily, looking at Ryu lovingly.

Ryu tilted his head and smiled.

Itachi walked in and dropped off the unconscious Sasuke, saying "Be careful."

Ryu nodded and Itachi left without another word.

Anko looked at Sasuke and turned to Ryu, who scratched his cheek and grinned eerily "Surprise?" Anko giggled and rolled her eyes. Ryu relaxed and tossed Sasuke on a bed.

Itachi went to Hiruzen and was emotionless as he reported, "It's done." Hiruzen stroked his beard, asking "Uchiha Ryu?" Itachi replied "Who?" Hiruzen pursed his lips and revealed "You have a clansmen out of the Uchiha compound, living with Naruto and Anko."

Itachi paused for a moment before saying "I haven't heard of him, he must not be a problem." Hiruzen savored Itachi's words and hummed to himself, saying "Well, not too bad. He hasn't awakened Sharingan and only trains his physique… Alright forget about him, he's not important."

Itachi sneered in his heart but replied emotionlessly, "Yes, Lord Hokage." Hiruzen nodded and sighed "I'm sorry for this Itachi. It's for the Village." Itachi replied softly "Of course, Lord Hokage. Everything is for the village."

Hiruzen nodded with satisfaction, asking "Sasuke?" Itachi replied coldly "He should be at the hospital but it seems that he never got there?"

Hiruzen frowned and looked before saying in surprise "He's with Ryu?" Itachi looked strange and asked "Perhaps I should…" Hiruzen waved his hand and said "Forget it. It won't eat up the Village funds, this is a good result as well."

Itachi almost killed Hiruzen on the spot, but stayed emotionless as he replied "Yes, Lord Hokage." Hiruzen patted his shoulder and said "Very good, Itachi. I'm proud of you. Go." Itachi nodded and disappeared, shooting out of the village.

Itachi sneered at the corner of his mouth, endless resentment sprout in his heart. What Will of Fire? How could he be so blinded by that old bastard?

For the first time in his life, Itachi doubted his own intelligence.

Maybe they used Shisui's Mangekyou on him?

Thinking of this, Itachi's face darkened as he disappeared.
