CHAPTER 48

Right after her mishap occurred, Raven remained to herself. 

She was lucky though, Xavier ignored her and did not bother to check in on her, or so she thought.

On the other hand, though, she had less to worry about. The fact that she could not leave the room already made it an issue. 

So many questions about the past bothered her but there was nothing she could do. 

Before long, hours turned days and days into weeks. Still, Xavier refrained from coming to her. 

At this point, she did not know what in the devil's name she was doing here in the aisle anymore nor Xavier's plans for her. 

Was he planning on keeping her there till the day she died or did he plan on replacing his wife with her?

As much as she wished not to ponder on the matter, she could not do so.
