Chapter-14: Royal Court

A spaceship was seen entering a star system, that had only 5 planets and a sun that looked like a head of a giant 'King Cobra'.

The ship passed through an energy barrier and entered the orbit of a planet surrounded by 9 glowing objects/Things of a different colors. If one looked closely one could see that almost all glowing object was a palace and only 1 object was white and had a single tower structure.

From a distance, each object looked like a moon for the planet.

"Enter the Western gate 2," said a voice in the Ship.

The ship reduced its speed and turned towards a red glowing palace. Even though the ship was moving fast it took more than an hour to reach the palace walls.

At the gate, 2 huge 3-headed dogs could be seen, and as soon as the ship reached their vicinity one of the dog's heads looked in the ship's direction and took a sniff.

"PASS-Wrrrr," said the dog head and went back to its sleep.

The DOORs opened and the ship passed through, the 2 dogs were as big as an adult elephant and the ship was close to 300 feet tall and 1 km in length. But the palace doors could fit it without any difficulty.

From the ship, Jules could be seen coming out and rushing towards a particular building.

Almost at the same time as the ship entered the palace, somewhere in the center of the palace a huge dog, with golden fur and a red flame crown on its head could be seen sleeping in a dark room, which was lit in red due to the red flame.

An object started glowing in the red room and the Dog woke up, he growled and looked towards the object now floating mid-air.

"SEND JULES, TO THE SUN," said a monologue voice.

The dog got up on its four legs and it was close to 100 feet, the room was now lit and one could see that the bed was huge and had gold scattered across the floor.

The dog looked like a cross between a german shepherd and a Husky, it narrowed its eye and the red flame started pulsating.

As soon as the flame started pulsating the entire red palace started trembling, all the residents of the red palace started panicking and a look of fear can be seen on most of the people in the palace, even the 2 guard dogs started trembling and weening.

After a couple of seconds, everything went back to normal, many were curious but none of them questioned it.

When Jules entered the Building he also felt the tremor and thought,

'Did some idiot wake up the Red King?' Jules thought as he started cursing them in his head.

"Mr. Jules, Master had ordered your presence in the in his court," said a man with a red fox head and a pair of tails.

"Captain. Rafen, may I know why?.." before he could complete his question he was interrupted when the fox head man pointed a gun towards him and said

"I don't know, I can only follow orders. If you don't comply I may have to restrain you and drag you by force". The man started radiating some energy and the gun in his hand started lighting up.

"Okay, okay... I will go" said Jules and cold sweat could be seen dripping from his croc face.

"Okay, please follow me," said Rafel and he started leading Jules towards the throne room.

'Oh Shit!, I'm dead. Why the fuck did I even enter the Red kings' gate' thought Jules.

Jules knew that among the 7 kings of the court, the Red King's court was the least bothered with the reports [diplomecy] and only had thirst for a bloody fight, he had hoped that if he reported the incidents regarding the symbiote's ambush he would be able to get vengeance on his fallen comrades, by waking up the bloodthirsty war God.

While cursing his own luck and choice, he entered the throne room to see an old man with a red flame crown sleeping on the throne.

As soon as he entered the room, he felt a suffocating pressure forcing him to kneel down, even Rafen was forced to his knee.

After a few seconds, both Jules and Rafen were forced back to their natural beast forms, Jules turned into a green crocodile over 10 feet in length and Rafel turned into a red fox with strange tattoos all over its body and was 30 feet in height.

The Old man opened one of his eyes and looked at them and said "Who is Jule?"

"I'm, your majesty," said Jules still struggling to move.

"What is your relation with Paul?"

"None, your majesty. I just met her a couple of months back, I had asked the court in providing a medic for assistance and Mrs. Paul was assigned for the task"

"Hmm… paul was assigned?. Why? are we at war?" asked the old man as his pale blue eyes started turning red and slight killing intent was released causing the entire room temperature to turn –ve.

Raphel started puffing a cold breath.

"No!!, Your majesty. We had encountered an issue, where our soldiers were infected with a very contagious virus and we had suspected it to be a 'Symbiotic' type and we were very close to their domain. So, I didn't want to take any risk before getting complete evidence, and from Mrs. Paul's study of the sample, we have concluded it to be a 'Symbiotic' type virus with a very mild effect" said Jules.

His entire body was trembling and one could even see his tail turn a little frosty.

'Why would, She ask for him, if it's such a minor problem?' thought the old man, and his dark red eyes looked at Jules and said in a cold tone "Soldier, tell me everything you have encountered in detail. If you miss any or if you think you can hide anything from me I will show you a life worst than de-"

The entire throne room was trembling and the 2 beasts' belly was touching the floor, the 2 beasts felt a primal fear locked deep in their bloodline. They felt like a huge sledgehammer had hit their head, when the old man started talking they both started bleeding from all their orifices.

But, suddenly they felt their body become light and the throne room went back to normal. They heard the old man 'Cough' and heard him shout 'Be!!-Gone!!'.

Both the beasts felt a flash of light and they found themselves standing inside an active volcano and they saw a young girl floating on top of a magma pool.

The girl looked around 10 or 12 years and wore a set of white garments, there was not even a spec of dust or magma ash on her clothes. Her bright red hair was dancing on her shoulders, even though there was no airflow.

When both the beasts, came to their senses they got up from the ground and put out some of the flames on their clothes.

'What the Fuck is going on, first the frost and now the magma? I was ordered to just bring this fucking lizard. I have not done anything, why am I being punished?' cried Raphel internally.

He looked at the girl curiously and started inspecting his environment before changing back to his hybrid form, then he saw Jules trembling and turning into a complete human form and quickly kneeling down.

'I heard that lizards can't turn into a complete human form. I think it's just a ro—' his thoughts were cut short when he heard.

"Jules of the Crock tribe, Greets Ancestor," said Jules and he started knotting 9 times looking towards the Little girl.

After listening to this Raphel immediately followed the custom and greeted the girl as the 'Ancestor.'

"Leave the 'Luck Stone' behind, and never disclose what you see or hear to the others. If this is spread out you and your entire tribe might be accountable for the following consequences" Said an eternal voice.

The entire magma and the underground terrain started trembling.

Without any further question, Jules took out a 'Pink' rock the size of a baby and politely placed it before the magma pool.

As soon as he placed the rock on the ground he noticed that he was now outside the red Castel.

'Jules, Who was that girl? I have not heard of a female ancestor before?' Raphel asked by sending sound waves into Jules's brain, who was still having a blank look on his face.

'That girl is Mrs. Paul, the master she serves is the Ancestor of all reptiles in the Imperial Domain. The magma pool we saw…' Jules looked at Raphel and pointed at the 'SUN.'

"You mean…." Shouted Raphel before he covered his mouth with both his hands and looked around as if to see if anyone heard him. His face was pale and his body was trembling non-stop.

He had heard a legend, that the current 'SUN' was not an actual 'SUN'. But, a deceased ancestor's body was proficient in 'FLAME ' laws. It was said that he was so powerful that his body could ignite and light up an entire body of celestial systems.

He heard from his elders that, this ancestor had a fallout with a being of a higher dimension and was slain in a single exchange. To protect the morals and dignity of the imperial family, they took an eternal oath, to keep it a secret. And the son of that ancestor had collected the corpse scattered across the space and made it into the current 'SUN.' This higher dimensional 'Outsider' was left unsaved and never returned.

Jules glared at Raphel and ignored him and looked towards the 'SUN'

'I heard that the ancestor is very close to the 'Outsiders' realm, I hope it is true. If even that is not equal to the 'Outsider' then I don't know, who or what in this world can compare to him.'

Different from Raphel, Jules had a blood connection that was very close to the royal grade and had a deep understanding of his 'Ancestors' power. As such, he had felt a strange bond or connection when he landed near the magma pool, he had felt that a being of a very large proportion was looking at him.

He had a vague image of a man holding a 'SUN' in his bare hands. It felt like his very bloodline was paying homage to its 'Origin' and this image was burnt into his very 'Soul' to worship.
