1 The Lost Souls

In a silent white room distant from any place known to man was billions, no, trillions of white dots. If one looked deeply into any of the white dots a story would place.

The dot would begin to shine and display a life that was lived. Each dot was arranged symmetrically about a foot away from each other.

Despite there being so many dots arranged in such a fashion, there seemed to be no walls within the white "room."

Above the display of dots was a figure. It was a white figure that shared similarities to the human body but lacked all the features of a human. It was unidentifiable.

The figure looked down at the dots and spoke, "Two hundred and fifty, may it happen."

Instantly two hundred and fifty dots began to glow yellow. Each of the lives contained within the dots began to slip away to give room for a new life.

Soon all fifty were as yellow as the sun. Then, as if the sun came into contact with them, all the dots disappeared completely.

All the other white dots simply moved to fill in the empty spaces the former dots resided in.

The white figure spoke again, "It is done. Claim thy rewards."

-----

It was a sight to see. A massive hall of men and women. Several hundred were seated in rows of comfy leather seats. The hall was shaped in the formation of an arena with a center circle of about fifty people wearing weird clothing.

The hall was weirdly shaped. The was a single door that led to an enclosed space. Seven chairs were placed there with seven people, of obvious prestige, seated.

It was almost silent. The only voices that could be heard were of the people in the center of the arena like hall. They seemed to be casting something. Sparks of light shined all around them as they spoke in a rhythmic fashion.

The floor began to tremble from the intensity of their chanting. However, the room remained silent. There may have been slight whispers, but the sound of the trembling overshadowed it.

Then it all stopped. Abruptly the room stopped shaking and the robe-wearing chanters stopped chanting.

Exactly two hundred and fifty yellow dots symmetrically filled up the center of the hall. Soon each dot began to shape itself.

They each began with the head, then the shoulders. Then the rest of the bodies formed. The two hundred and fifty yellow dots became two hundred and fifty confused humans.

Perhaps in response to their confusion, the people seated within the hall stood up and began to clap and cheer. The people wearing robes disappeared from view and the confused humans only stood in amazement and shock as they tried to understand the situation they were in.

Soon after the people seated within their seats had all left. While the seemingly summoned humans were guided away from the place they were summoned to a totally different environment.

They were greeted with a family of seven smiling at them. The man in front walked up to the still confused humans and spoke, "Welcome, heroes, to Eligeir!"
