How Do We Defy Gravity?
Someone asked me if it was possible to defy gravity, to just float and reach the sky without anything holding her back, anything that weights her down in her own will. I remember the feelingof laughter when that person asked me that, and told her it was impossible. It would be supernatural if someone were able to do that. I remembered the words that escaped my lips, the questions I asked. I asked if she wished to fly, like those of ten year old children as I laugh.I remember the feeling, like it was the exact words that we said.
She told me she wanted to leave. To be forever bound with the sky. I thought it was ridiculous, everyone will do so. We always shared moments like that-but before I knew it, before I could even believe her highs-she was gone.
And I could not even remember her face, or the sound of her voice, the color of her eyes, her name. She just disappeared, without anything to say, nothing to leave behind, making me question if those days even existed.
