Crowns and a Rose 2: The Cupid's Game II

"Change to your swimwears after eating. We will head to the lake later," Ron says as they enjoy the scrumptious lunch Carmen cooked for them.

"This so exciting!" Primrose exclaims.

"Haven't you ever been in a camping trip before?" Mon asks, amused by her overloading excitement.

"I have--- when my mom's still alive. She loved the outdoors, you know~" she replies, smiling at the memories.

"Why did you stop?" Mon asks.

"After her death, dad stopped doing anything that reminds him of my mom~"

"Oh~ sorry," Mon says.

"It's okay~"

"I think, I'm gonna go first," Sophia says softly, making everyone confused.

"Don Mari~ what's the rush? Aha! You are planning to wear a sexy swimwear, aren't you?" Ron shouts at her as she hurriedly climbs up the stairs.

"Oh~ so that's why she barely touched her food! She wanna look perfect," Mon adds.

They continue teasing her as she climbs up the stairs. Without looking at them, she stops, raises her hand and gives them a dirty finger. 

As soon as she reaches the ladies' room, she runs to the restroom and locks herself.

"Fuck!" she exclaims. "Why now?" she cries. Unfortunately for her, she has an upset stomach. And it has been acting up since they arrived.

"I think it's the yogurt that I ate while coming here. Eish! Why did I eat yogurt when I knew that I have lactose intolerance?" she mumbles as she relieves herself.

She is thankful that they are still eating when goes down after finishing her business.

"Are you sure you wanna go alone?" Ben asks.

"I can manage!"

"What if bears will eat you?" Leo exclaims trying to scare her.

"Oh no they won't dare!" says Jay without giving her a glance.

"Why?" Stephanie asks curiously.

"They'll have indigestion~" Jay answers casually. The lords laugh while the ladies furrow their faces.

"Whatever!" Sophia mutters and gets out.

She walks down the 50 slabs of granite beautifully arranged to create a spiral stairway leading to the lakeshore.

The shoreline is made of fine grey sand, but before you reach it, you must walk through some rocks and pebbles.

The lake looks really clean and inviting.

"Okay! I have to take a rest first to calm my stomach so that I can enjoy swimming in this pristine lake later," she tells herself.

She fixes her parasol and places the mat on the sand. Then, she puts on her earphones and lies down with her sunglasses on.

Moments later...

"What the~" Sophia screams and immediately gets up when she feels the cold water splashed on her body.

"He did it!" Chealsy says while pointing at Leo standing in the water, grinning widely.

Out of annoyance, Sophia removes her glasses and earphones before running after him. He laughs aloud as they run along the shoreline.

Then, he runs into the water.

"Oh my god! Be careful!" Stephanie shouts.

Sophia stops when she realizes that Leo is standing in the deeper part of the lake.

The water is only below his chest level. For Sophia, it's already on her neck.

He smirks. She grins. Leo feels nervous when she dives under the water. He swims farther away.

"Oh my gosh! Where is she? Oh my gosh!" Camille exclaims.

"It's okay! She's absolutely a mermaids' descendant!" Ron consoles.

"Mermaid? Are you sure not the Great White shark?" Jay grunts as he drinks his beer.

"Heysh! Why are you so bitter?" Primrose snarls. He ignores.

"Gotcha!" Sophia says when she suddenly appears in front of Leo. She grins triumphantly.

"You are really something!" he says as he looks at her intently for a moment.

"What are you doing?" she says when his face slowly gets closer and closer. 

She turns around to swim away, but then Leo grabs her shoulder right away and turns her to face him. 

"Let me go!" she says in low but firm voice. He smirks.

"If you don't stop fighting back, you will regret it!" he warns. 

Sophia smiles sarcastically. "As if~" she hisses before kicking his chest and starts to swim away.

Because they are in the water, the impact of her kick is minimal. Also, Leo is an expert swimmer so it's easy for him to catch her. 

"I warned you!" he huffs.

"What's wrong with~"

Her words are cut off and her eyes become wide open when in a split of a second his lips are claiming hers, making her run out of breath.

"Thank me later," Leo whispers before swimming back to the shore, leaving her tremble in anger and confusion.

At the shore, two pairs of sad eyes have been watching them, pouring regrets and frustrations in their hearts.

"Damn! I think Leo is really into you!" Stephanie exclaims when Sophia gets back to the shore.

She ignores her comment as her brain is throbbing, filled with questions as to what Leo meant.

"Tell me. Is he a good?" Ben teases as the other ladies gush.

Then, something catches Sophia's peripheral view, it is Letizia sauntering towards them.

"Holy shit! You do look hot," she says as she looks at Letizia from head to foot.

Her curves and fair complexion are accentuated in her black two- piece bikini as her floral silk robe flows freely with the wind. And those killer legs she has. Even her short black hair adds to her charm.

"Hi, honey!" Ben says before giving a peck on her lips. Desire is evident in his eyes. I can't blame him. She's damn hot.

"Oh la la! Where have you been hiding?" Stephanie asks Letizia.

She just smile at them, especially at Chealsy, who is fuming in jealousy and fury.

They play in the lake to their hearts' content. It is already getting dark when they decide to get back to the cabin.

"Wow, Primrose! These look delish!" Camille exclaims as they enter the cabin.

"Mon, Jay and I head back first to prepare for our BBQ party," Primrose explains.

"Go and change. These will be ready in no time," Mon adds while gesturing at the different kinds of meat, fruits and vegetables on the table.

"I'm sure it's gonna be delicious!" Chealsy says flirtatiously while looking at Jay, who is busily dicing some onions--- shirtless.

"Yeah~ can't wait to taste it!" Stephanie adds as she bites her lower lip.

"Eish! Don't even think about it! I am sure, you'll have indigestion!" Sophia annoyedly yells at Chealsy and Stephanie before stomping off.

Leo smiles.
