1 Infatuation

Another early Monday morning meant I had to go for school. I am in my senior year of high school.

Just a few months before my graduation.

Finally!

My good times are winding down.

Nicely done!

An attractive classmate from my second year greeted me as I was crossing the threshold. It was Frank, who was a little weird and was my classmate Janice's ex-boyfriend.

She broke up with him solely because her mother was flying in from Israel. She was reluctant to discuss their covert relationship because she was afraid. Her mother is very protective and obstinate due to the fact that she raised her only kid alone and didn't know her father.

He came with me because we attend the same school, and all of my gossiping classmates were hurriedly expressing their differing viewpoints.

They gazed at me as though I were a runaway or a depraved pupil!

Such a pain in the rear!

We're not even particularly good friends or close.

We are practically walking right now!

What if they believe I favor this man?

No!

I'm not a fan of boys!

I don't like any of them!

As I am aware that they will reject me?

In particular, the person I like!

As we ascended to the second floor, we parted ways.

We waved at one another even though he was on the opposite side.

"Meg, see you later." He spoke.

I'll enter the senior high school class that is the most hectic till I stop in front of my room's door.

We were known as that by the teachers. Every time they come into our room, they want to go right away.

Perhaps as a result of the boys in our class? All of them are nuts!

Even if the teacher is in front of them, they will cause trouble or giggle uncontrollably as if they want to avoid listening and are always cracking pick-up jokes.

One of our student teachers also appears to be enjoying it.

"Sir, may I leave?" While making flirtatious comments to Brenda, his seatmate, Raymond, one of my classmates.

"Why do you need to use the restroom every time I come here? Do I resemble a toilet?" Teacher asked in a flirty manner.

"Of course not, sir! I always look forward to seeing you." He responded with humor.

"Sir, we adore you!" The hottie in the room is AJ, another classmate who enters from behind and speaks. AJ would get chased by our teacher, and they would all start screaming.

There won't be any more lectures; just general class laughter and flirtation.

They resemble crazy individuals!

I'm a part of the gang sitting in the backseat laughing. Here I am, secretly feeling that I'm not having fun.

It's dull.

I'm Meagan Jones, sometimes known as Meg, a female who dislikes men.

I have no idea! I don't want to date since it will interfere with my schoolwork.

In fact, it is true!

In our circle, I am the only one without a lover. I'm a dorky, boyish kind of gal.

Who wants to date me?

One of my closest friends, Charmaine, has a boyfriend, and that makes me awkward. Considering that he frequently made fun of his jealousy of me.

"Are you crazy, Anthony?" I reprimanded him and threw him into the water.

We were on a field trip with our school field trip, and everyone had fun playing in the water and sliding at the pool.

Do you wish to learn my actions?

Because I can't swim, I'm here acting like a downer by hanging my feet over the edge of the pool.

How annoying!

While I sat here alone with my guitar, everyone else was having fun.

I'm always alone myself.

"Hey, take a shower!" It's Lee, Elean Lee Drake, the world's most attractive man. He was in section three, and already has a girlfriend.

How discouraging!

Lee is one of our top athletes at the school and an All-Star basketball player. He is a model student, sergeant at arms, school officer, and representative of a decent citizen.

How did I learn all of this?

I must admit that I have a crush on him.

I admire him in secret.

Since the day I transferred to this school, I have liked him.

And there he is, bothering me as usual.

"Leave me be!" I grumbled.

Lee keeps upsetting me because I know he won't ever treat me as all his girlfriends do.

How depressing!

How I wish he liked me too.

Impossible!

"How about this for you?" After continuing to irritate me, Lee removed the hot sandwich from the table and fastened it to my body.

Not really hilarious. I scowl and walk away carrying my instrument.

He sat next to me, which startled me.

I felt anxious!

"Are you going to play the guitar once more? Come on, let me hear it." Once more, he made fun of me and even encircled my neck.

Seriously!

While I am happy, I realize that he is deceiving me.

"Stop annoying me please. Just get in the water and swim there." I said. He resists my shove and inches closer to me.

What's wrong with this person, exactly?

Why does he suddenly get so attached?

We were in a beautiful setting, as though we were a couple.

Then all of a sudden, my classmates showed up.

"Oh my gosh, how sweet." Because Lee's arm was still over my neck, they all made fun of him.

Though I'm bashful and humiliated, it's pleasant to be teased.

"Leave me alone!" I yelled before firmly pushing Lee out of annoyance. He dropped into the pool after losing his footing. It was remarkable how Lee fell into the pool, and it was even more embarrassing than I thought.

Even though I was simply faking, everyone laughed aloud at him.

I was at fault!

Lee discreetly exited the pool and headed outside.

"I apologize." I tried to say that, but I was unable to.

I got the impression Lee was quite upset with me after the incident!

It felt like I was invisible when we met because he stopped paying attention to me.

I felt sat.
