Nightmares

Every dream is the same. Every night I fear to fall asleep because I know I'm not going to be able to escape from the past and I want to, I want to forget so badly.

-That's what I thought about before I closed my eyes.-

There I was, again at the beginning of it all. Fire all around me, everything around me is falling apart, everything is fading. " You are better off dead." "Useless." "Good for nothing." "Why are you still here?" "Nobody needs you, you dirty child!"

Those were very, very familiar words to me. Back then, 15 years ago, all I can remember from then is a house burning and man screaming for his beloved one, of course I don't remember the name. I was there, in the house so that's how my parents died. At the same time then the kingdom was falling apart, the war with dark souls began. After the war ended King and Queen of Sapphire Kingdom were nowhere to be found, and that's how our kingdom fell apart. Since then the Kingdom is in two parts because two of the brothers of the King Nelio were fighting over the throne. One half belongs to the brother Bhasu and he became the King of the Sun, while the other brother, Kage, took the other side and became the King of the Moon. Both sides are very unhappy place to live. Sapphire Kingdom was once a very happy place, or so I've heard.

I was found by my older brother Nao who was absent while our house was burning into ashes, later we were took by the King of the Sun because he said he sees potential in our eyes, very lame excuse if you ask me. King of the Sun happened to be a very cruel person, so the word like "Good for nothing." really became part of my everyday life.

My brother refused to talk about our parents with me only for me to find out that he actually lost his memories because of the terrifying scene he saw no longer after the fire stopped.
