3 Unexpected Visit

Kaalsuo was confused as to who was that crazy person all of sudden screaming. He would've wanted to ask that dude who the fuck he was but unfortunately, he was still an infant thus he couldn't even utter a word if he even wanted to. Besides, he still didn't understand the language very well.

"Huh? Dad?" Zweschez was confused at first sight as to why his father was here all of sudden before shortly afterwards returning to his chores of washing the clothes.

The word 'Dad' relieved Kaalsuo as there could've been a possibility that the person in front of him was a drunken man that could've done a lot of harm.

However, he had other questions that were now added to his collection of questions. 'Chyrsea?' Kaalsuo was confused at the name his father had shouted.

His father's build was extremely muscular and buff. Beyond the bounds of biology and physics itself, his father strapped a greatsword on his back. However, it seemed that the greatsword was outstandingly heavy and powerful as every insects that headed to its direction was immediately crushed upon it's weight, even in midair.

His father resembled like a physical mortal Greek god. Unfortunately with his chad-like build, his looks wasn't as impressive. He had a huge thick goatee and several sad yet still unnoticeable wrinkles plagued his face, resulting in him seemingly looking as if he was in his late forties.

At the time, he was wearing a regular bland tunic with dirty pants which was shredded beyond recognition in some parts.

Kaalsuo initially wanted to ponder what type of things did his father possibly did but he changed his mind and decided to spectate for now.

"Where is the baby? I want to see him!"

His father hurriedly went inside the house to check every nook and cranny searching for something and realised that the one he was looking for was right in front of his eyes.

Kaalsuo was in a basket meant for carrying infants and the basket was currently on a table.

Before his father could express any feelings towards Kaalsuo, his mother had already arrived to the scene.

"Honey? You're back?" Her mother was surprised to see her husband here so suddenly. She knew what job he did and was worried about Kaalsuo crying from the appearance of his father.

The job that his father actually did was barbarian tasks. His father and a thousand others from across the valley would occasionally raid other villages and towns from beyond the valley. Unlike almost every pack of barbarians, his father and the others had never done any atrocious acts like torture in their entire lifes.

If one had done those unforgiving acts, they would be whipped for a hour publicly and exiled from their village.

After all, they only raided and looted villages for wealth and riches.

Contrary to what she expected, Kaalsuo seemed cheerful to his father erratically moving his arms with excitement.

In reality, Kaalsuo was excited to see his father but he didn't like acting like a baby.

Of course, he loved going into slumber but that was the only similarities he had with all the other stupid infants of his age. He and the other infants couldn't communicate with eachother anyways.

To assure his mother that he was quite the contrary, excited to see his father, he willingly threw away his pride as an adult.

"What's his name, Chrysea? He looks adorable. Too adorable that I want to crush his head." His father expressed catching a glimpse of his wife's disappointed look. Chrysea really didn't like that joke considering she often took her husband's words seriously.

Kaalsuo's father then realized his mistake and quickly corrected what he said, "I said it as a good way, not that bad way okay?"

To those words, his mother still seemed to disappointed which lead his father to sigh in defeat.

The two of them started to become quiet, the situation slowly became awkward and Kaalsuo could sense a disturbance in the force. It was only when the situation had become too awkward that his mother responded to the question earlier.

"His name is Kaalsuo. You didn't remember the time we decided on his name before he was born?"

"Oh." That was the only thing his father could say not because he was speechless, embarrassed or anything. He just didn't have anything left to say. His father racked his brain for an idea to ease the situation. He was currently facing hard time and he wanted to have some little time with his new son.

"Ah! Why don't we get outside and wander around the village? Let Kaalsuo see the world around him!" His father suggested. Since those words logically made sense, Chrysea agreed to the suggestion and gave him the green light. His father quickly grab Kaalsuo from his arms.

"Well, since my father keeps calling my mother as Chrysea, it might as well be my mother's name." Kaalsuo concluded.

It seemed like Kaalsuo's father didn't know where he was going but Kaalsuo had faith on his father. He could finally see the world outside of his house.

Too bad, Kaalsuo didn't have anything to question about the village as it looked like with the most kindest word he could possibly use to describe it. It was a shithole.

It came out straight from an internet article about 'Poor Hygiene'. He could literally see the makeshift beds being slept by cattle. Stables and the 'houses' were joined together creating the perfect space for children roam around and die from diseases. He knew if a disease suddenly came to this village, he would be effectively doomed.

"Hey, Honey. What a lovely village we're bringing our child to. Surely, this is the best village you could've think of isn't it" Chrysea sarcastically commented, inwardly questioning why the hell did they visit this village out of all places.

"I forgor 💀" his father responded.

"Let me guess, you forgot the directions to our usual village did ya? Classic Alsram. " Chrysea mocked her husband. Chrysea took her son and immediately zoomed off to the distance heading to the actual village.

Kaalsuo had now knew the names of his parents which were a great feat to him. What was so hard to find in a month revealed itself in just a day.

A minute of sprinting later, she and Kaalsuo had finally arrived to the village which to his expectations was fairly average. The village house's were like Kaalsuo's with the only difference's being the sizes and decorations of the houses. Unlike his house where decorations were in realm of impossibility, the aforementioned village had at least basic decoration such as pots of flowers, small trees and some torches.

He saw children run around playing tag at a small field, people just chilling outside and farmers that returning back home exhausted from the work.

His mother brought him to the slightly more scenic part of the village.

There was a wooden pillar that stood 8 metres high with a pickaxe stuck at the top of it which didn't seem to be apart of it.

Nearby was a local stone shrine with sculptures of some kind of deity, it was a humanoid that had four arms and a slithery snake body for it's legs. He had no knowledge of the deity and wanted to know some information to what the sculpture was but that's a story for another day. He all had the time in the world after all.

Eventually, Alsram had finally caught up to his wife and grabbed Kaalsuo from her arms to show his son the countryside.

The countryside looked divine with farm fields scattered throughout the valley. In contrary, the he vast fields of crops were not actually flat as it was slightly sloped due to the region being a valley.

The family had wanted to visit the more flatter regions down the valley but it was too steep for them without suddenly dropping Kaalsuo away down the valley.

Alsram and Chrysea had always ran down the slopes as a kid and were used to the steepness but they of course currently had their sons on their arms.

"Maybe some other day, okay Kaalsuo?" Both of his parents concluded the trip. Nightfall was beginning to come anyways and Kaalsuo was rather tired too and yearned for some good sleep.
