CHAPTER 11 Surprise Visit
Amber's POV
Tossing and turning in my bed, I look at the ceiling annoyed. The day has been interesting, to say the least, and I have a distinct feeling of not belonging. Some people were friendly enough, then there were some who seemed indifferent and then there were those who were just plain hostile, mean, and hateful. I decide to get out of bed seeing as I can't sleep anyway. I open the door to my balcony, take a blanket and sit outside breathing in the fresh air.
Thinking about the various reactions to my own person, makes me think back on the day I've had since I was literally dumped on the dragon lands.
Callus seemed more indifferent at dinner, but he didn't engage in conversation. He even went so far as to ask Chase to ask me a question as if I was not there, and then not to hear my answer so Chase had to relay it again. Let's just say, it got old really fast and only fueled the ones who showed open hostility to be even more unfriendly.
