Rhaenys and Egg slowly made their way to the main table while greeting the northern lords along way

As soon as we reached there father came forward and egg went and hugged our father,"it's good to have you back son" father said as he properly looked at egg after years, Rhaenys is sure egg and father have a lot to talk about but they know better than to do it here in front of everyone

Egg went to lyanna and Elia after father,while father was able to keep a straight face both our mothers already had water in their eyes as soon as they saw egg,they both hugged egg and Lyanna refused to let egg out of her hands,lya was so angry at egg but seeing her son all was forgiven,Rhaenys has been is the same position many times it's really hard to stay mad at her brother

Somehow egg slowly got out Lyanna's grasp and went to our grandmother,as he hugged our grandmother,"and who is this beautiful young lady,I was told my grandmother is here but this young maiden can't possibly be her" egg said playfully, grandmother blushed a little before smacking egg in the arm,"it's seems the Starks have turned my innocent and sweet grandson into a charmer" uncle Ned almost choked on his food hearing this while everyone at the table just laughed

Egg came and picked Visenya up in his arms,"and who are,you look like my little sister but she has big full cheeks always huffing and puffing around,this beautiful girl and can't possibly be her" Visenya punched egg in the chest with her little hands,"that was back when I was a child how long are you going keep saying that brother," Visenya said in annoyance but refused to let go of her big brother

"Egg,egg can we spar after,I am sure I can beat you this time,I came so close last time" Aemon excitedly said as he clung to his big brother,egg ruffled aemon's hair "of course little brother,I want to see how much my little dragon Knight has improved"

"And who is this little guy?" Egg said as he came to little Daemon,Elia came by Daemon,"Dae this is your big brother Aegon but you can call him egg"the littlest Targaryen nodded at his mother's words but still looked doubtful,"but I already have a big brother,Aemon is my big brother" Daemon said looking confused,"I am Aemon's big brother,I am a big brother to both you and little Aemon" egg said with a smile,Daemon can't help smile with him

As visenya and aemon finally let go little Shireen ran straight into egg's arms,"aah I am blinded,I lost my eyes after seeing such beautiful young lady,I can't see"egg said playfully as he brought Shireen up

Egg and her cousin Shireen has always been close,Rhaenys thinks Shireen is more like a sister to egg than she is because of our Targaryen practices,and when Shireen got greyscale egg is only one who treated her the same and was there for her

After that egg went and greeted the Starks,like Shireen little arya pounced on egg as soon as she got the chance, seeing this Rhaenys can't help but feel a little jealous,the Starks and the Targaryens look like a family but her maternal family is never like this,even now her uncle Doran must be plotting to put his children on the iron throne,but she doesn't have time to think about her foolish uncles right our family is back together after so many years

The next day

Aegon(Jon)Targaryen pov

I knew this was coming but I can't help feel dread as I slowly walked to my father's chambers,as I came to the door the king's guards nodded and let me in

Father was given a room befitting a king,it is one of the best in winterfell,as I walked in I saw Ser Barristan already standing with Ser Arthur,it seems the Bold has already been whipped with my father's words,as the old knight stood straight but his face looked a little down,this is huge because Ser Barristan always keeps a straight face no matter what

I stood there for a while my father the king was busy with something trying not to draw attention to my self,but after father finished writing he looked up and saw me,"leave us" father said in his king voice and Ser Barristan nodded and left,Ser Arthur stayed where he was,the sword of the morning has always been by father's best friend and confidant,I am sure there are very few things that Ser Arthur doesn't know about my father

My father got up from his chair and slowly came in front of me,my father is never one to show his temper,at least I have never seen him angry,but he is still a dragon after all,the world saw that during the Ironborn rebellion but father never show that side to his family,he is always calm and understanding with us,but that somehow makes it even worse

"What do you know about my battle against Robert Baratheon during the rebellion?" He calmly asked me

"The crown and rebel forces met at the trident with full force,you and Robert Baratheon were locked in fierce single combat but still you only used your sword against his earth bending and war hammer,but somehow he got an opening and was ready to smash your chest when you used your fire bending and stopped him, Robert Baratheon with his earth bending and war hammer could only match you with your sword after you started to bend fire he was easily defeated"I answered

Father shook his head,"even with my fire bending it was still a hard fought battle, Robert Baratheon is not know as the demon of the trident for nothing,the world thinks I hid my fire bending but the truth is I didn't use my fire bending in battle because I couldn't,your grandfather's maddness affected us even if we didn't want it to,after your grandfather started burning people with his fire bending and wildfire,I couldn't use fire bending in battle after that,I could practice alone just fine,but whenever I tried to use it in battle I would freeze up,I would see those burnt corpses and I would hear their screams,I would smell their bodies,for years I couldn't use my fire but I was relieved instead of sad because that meant I would never be like my father,but when Robert's hammer was coming for me,all I could think was your mother alone is dorne heavy with you,all I could think was that I can't die here,I can't leave my wife and children alone in this world, and somehow my fire came back that day and I was able to defeat everyone just because I wanted to protect my family"

I was shocked,I didn't know what to think,I looked to Arthur but he didn't look shocked,that means he knew this I wonder who else knows

My father continued "Do you know why I am telling you this,you can call it whatever you want a fluke,a miracle,fate but the truth is I would have died back there if I couldn't find my fire back at that exact moment,if I died back there everything would have been lost,why because I was the crown prince and everyone and our family was depending on me,but I foolishly went into battle while leaving my three best king's guards back at Dorne,given the chance I would still do it again because you are my son I love you,but no matter how you look at it I barely survived the rebellion due to luck because I made one foolish decision after another,now you are the crown prince of the seven kingdoms,I have faith in you and you are far more wise and mature than me when I was at your age,but you can't just keep jumping into danger like this even if it is the right thing to do,because your life doesn't just belong to you,the entire seven kingdoms will depend on you,and it is your burden to bare as the crown prince"
