The royal retinue arrived at Winterfell just a few days ago after staying at Winterhall for a week then continuing travel north to Winterfell

The last few days Rhaegar and the royal family has been resting and enjoying the hospitality of the his stark good family

His three youngest children are enjoying their stay here in Winterfell taking in the sights of the north,but his youngest Daemon is having trouble adjusting to the cold weather,Elia has put the poor little boy in far too many layers of clothing that the boy has trouble moving around,it's Daemon's dornish blood that is not used to such cold climates even though it is still summer

While Aemon and Visenya have taken to north like a fish in water,as they always say that Starks are made of cold

But Aegon and Rhaenys are not back at Winterfell yet,Rhaenys went ahead of the retinue after crossing the neck to make sure that Egg returns to Winterfell from the wall before the royal retinue reaches there,but we have been here for few days but Egg and Rhaenys are still a day's travel away

That's why Rhaegar and Elia are here at the Winterfell's match ground in the old keep so early in the morning,Lyanna has been angry at Ned for sending her son and nephew beyond the wall for while and now that they are still not back,this has led to Lyanna beating sorry sparring with his good bother Ned everyday since they came here

Rhaegar and Elia are standing in the empty match ground watching Lyanna battering Ned with one ice attack after other while his good brother is trying his best to defend himself with his own ice bending

While Ned is a strong master ice bender who has fought in two wars but his wife Lyanna is not know strongest ice bender for nothing,Ned is doing his best avoiding ice spears,swords,spikes,etc thrown his way and trying to fight back as much as possible but it is clearly not working

Ned avoids another wave of ice attacks but in dodging them he let lyanna get close to him,that's the biggest mistake anyone can make,a ice war hammer forms in Lyanna hands as she is ready to smash his good brother,Ned quickly makes a barrier of ice but that doesn't stop the war hammer from breaking through the barrier and sending Ned flying back

While Lyanna is only a master ice bender and not a weapon master but her body is still as strong as top level weapon masters,she is one of rare few whose body grows stronger on their own with their elemental bending

Ned was able form a layer of ice around him before the hammer hit but his good brother is going to feel that blow for days,seeing Ned flat out on the ground Lyanna seems satisfied with today's beating no sparring session and went to help her brother

"Lya seems to get better and better over the years,what do you think would there be a Queen of Winter after hundreds of years" Elia asked with a smile

"It is possible,but we can never be sure if a person can be a become a king or queen level bender,it is hard but if anyone can do it,it would be our Lyanna"Rhaegar said,he has completely faith in Lyanna

But Elia looked sad and sighed,"Lya wanted Egg to be a ice bender,she wanted to teach him ice bending but she never got the chance,all our other children inherited your fire bending but Egg is the only one who is different,this has only increased those ridiculous rumours about his birth,why are gods so cruel to toy with us and our son like this"

Elia always treated Lyanna's children as her own,even after Daemon was born she still sees egg and Aemon as her sons

Rhaegar wanted to tell Elia that egg can bend both ice and fire and according to his visions he might already be a king level bender but that's not his secret to tell

Everyone calls him the last dragon but it's Aegon and Rhaenys who are the true dragons,both his son and daughter have done so many incredible things and most importantly they bought dragons back it the world and our house

"Don't worry about small things like that,Egg might not be a elemental bender but he is the first sword of the seven kingdoms and at such young age,how many fathers can say that about their son,and look at our daughter Rhaenys she is master fire bender already,our children will be fine,and they will betrothed soon together Rhaenys and egg can do anything,and we will always be there for our children no matter what"Rhaegar assured his wife

Elia nodded as Lyanna and Ned came towards us

"Lya I am starting to worry for my good brother's life here,why don't you stop this already,egg might be Ned's nephew but egg is also his prince,Ned couldn't do anything,he can't stop his Crown Prince if egg wants to go,now you the queen is causing trouble for lord stark,you mother and son can't just harass the warden of the north like that" Rhaegar said trying to save his good brother from anymore sparring matches

But Lyanna snorted"I am going easy on Ned because he is my brother,I agreed to let Jon go north because I knew my brother would take care of my son and keep him safe,now look at this my son and nephew sent beyond the wall to face savages,I should have broken both of Ned's legs as soon as I came here, that's what our mother would have done, and Jon is no crown prince,he is just a overgrown brat who thinks he can do whatever he wants because his mother is not around,just let him come back I will show that white wolf how she-wolfs discipline their unruly and wild pups"Lyanna said,her voice sent shivers down Rhaegar's spine,no one can tame the wild she-wolf of Winterfell

But lya can't discipline egg like this,even just with his sword egg can cut down Lyanna's ice bending,egg won't attack his mother but he can easily defend himself but Rhaegar is not going be the one to tell Lyanna that
