Consequences
The stars were shining brightly above the sky. Layla staring out her window tried to find as many constellations as possible. Looking up at the sky was one of her favorite past times. She was always amazed at how those small glittering patches could add so much beauty to the black night sky. But amongst her amusement, she was worried. She looked at the door once more and her eyebrows creased. She sat down on the windowsill.
'She was late'
Layla thought as she leaned against the window. It had gotten late. Normally she would be having dinner at this time, if lucky being accompanied by Jane, chatting.
Jane had gone to tend to Henni, so it was clear why she was taking her time. Perhaps Henni actually did go into trouble? And Jane had to solve it. Maybe that's why she was running late tonight. Layla tried her best to give solutions to her worried mind until her stomach growled.
