C6: New Member, Be Prepared!

The handsome youth approaches Hua with a mischievous yet sinisterly hidden smile. Though no malice can be felt, it makes someone looking at him subconsciously felt uncomfortable and scared.

That handsome young man's eyes turned crescent from naughtiness. He's seemingly playful, but dangerous and actually wicked- minded deep inside.

However, there's still something about this young man that makes people wanted to get close to him no matter how dangerous he is. Like a warm and bright but hot light of fire that can roast a moths that lingering around it and trying to get close to him.

He's truly a handsome man about sixteen years old with long black- brownish wooden colored hair of rosewood tree that ruffled, messy and carelessly braided 'til his waist.

The words, phrases and sentences that came out from his mouth can cause goosebumps to those who heard it.

Noticeably, there's other handsome man on his side. On the right side is much older than him and in the left is the youngest base on appearance.

On the right side is much more mature with gentle and sweet smiling face and giving off a friendly feeling while the other was meekly and shy boy blushing and cautiously stares at Hua. This handsome boy in the left side seemed to be a year older than her.

Well seemingly, the mischievous but scarily handsome man in the middle is the blending result of both handsome man in each side with a little bit lacking of scheming and fearful side.

Hua face the three handsome man with calm but alerted low key stance. Still griping the ginger color haired woman's wrist, not wanting to let the woman escape from her grasp. She won't trust others to easily as what she always do in the past. She wouldn't know what if this fierce woman suddenly do something funny, right?

"We finally met Xiao Wu (Little Five)! How are you?... Huh? Why is Lady Bing's face distorted? It seemed like this lady is in pain?," refined and well- mannered you must say, the handsome gentleman in the right side of this a. k. a psychopath cups his hand showing respect and greets Hua when he realized the ginger color haired woman in red clothing he was so familiar of gritting her teeth and her face is too painful, writhing in too much pain.

Cold sweats formed in the fierce women's forehead. It slowly tickled down to the rest of her face. She tried to break free from Hua's grip. Sadly, the way Hua gripped her hand was tight and powerful eventhough the fact there's no spiritual qi that can be detected in her body. It means Hua was building her body through training the musle, and bones. She's a cripple yet suprisingly more strong than her that even struggling can't free her from her painful grip. What trick is this cripple do to became this strong?!

Now the ginger color haired woman saw the gentleman guy, rays of hope and a brief glint of malicious gaze immediately shone on her eyes.

Heh! Brother Mu is here! You're doomed!

"Brother Mu! Ple- please help me! This blind girl is not only cripple but also vicious! She broked my hand! It's too painful! ...See, she's stll gripping onto it so tightly! You must avenge me!," the ginger color haired fierce woman that goes by the calling title of Lady Bing suddenly wailed, acting pitiful and cried so miserably, complaining about how Hua bullying her.

She's acting too close to the gentleman not noticing the uncomfortable and awkwardness in his face.

What? I'm vicious? I... But what I only did was self defense! I didn't even actually break your hand!

I know that I suddenly gripped your hand tightly on impulse but...

Wait- why do I have this nagging and unpleasant feeling just by looking at this fierce woman? I think she hates me. I frowned just by thinking about it.

I think she hates me and same for me. I don't like her. I felt like she's a bad person but I don't know why. I just felt it.

Earlier she's creating ruckus for not welcoming her and serving her properly making me seemed unhospitalizable. *sigh...

I don't know why but it seemed like troubles will always come find me.

"Lady Bing I apologize for Xiao Wu for playing around. Please forgive her for being ignorant," again the gentleman cupped his hands and slightly bowed.

Eh? How do you even know if I really playing around here? We only met today! Unless... He's feigning an ignorance?! Can't believe that someone like him seemed as a good guy and a gentleman turned blind eye to a lady's sufferings.

Eh? This guy... is taking my side?!

I don't even know anyone here except for... Oh my! I still don't know young sir's name! I couldn't possibly call him that forever after becoming the Sun Sect's lady miss. He'll be my oldest brother now! A big brother! How shameless am I?

As I fall into deep thinking, everyone's attentions are all on me while they ignored the fierce woman as if she's not there and it's drives her crazy. Eventually, she stormed off with furious face. Feeling everything was unfair and too embarrassed, she cusses and swears shamelessly making everyone looking at her contempt, disdain and annoyance.

"Forget about that noisy and fierce lady... I want to you!," the psycho, the crazy one of the three young men suddenly speaks, shocking the absentminded Hua as he pointed his pointed finger...

At the same time, outside Nei Zhao Courtyard...

"Who is she? She have been living inside the Sun Sect's territory for a week already!" Frolicking around, one servant in orange uniform with a yellow eight rays sun surroundedby cloud symbol tattooed in her right hand, a maid of the Sun Sect precisely, wonder while remembering what she saw. The young lord and young masters were laughing besides a...

A guest? But it seems not like it. It makes her more curious.

"No. It seems like you're new here, aren't you?" Another maid wearing a different color but same uniform as the other chimed in. If you look for her sect's symbol it's in her right side of belly. She looks at the other maid in orange clothing and made a conclusion.

"*Nods nods" were the only response given to that maid in yellow green same uniform.

"This is our new lady miss! The patriarch adopted her as his daughter after miraculously saving him! She's amazing! You couldn't believe that that such young age, maybe barely even younger than us yet she already possesses godly medical skills! It's like she became a... Female Physician!"

She began enthusiastically talking the information she knew about Hua. Her eyes seem sparkling and shining brightly. What's that? It seemed like she admire Hua for her miraculous medical skills.

"Sigh... It's just that even though she's a beauty and an expert in treating incurable diseases, lady miss is blind and crippled!" She dropped her shoulders a little and frowns slightly. Worry is genuine to her voice.

Right inside the door, an angry man suddenly opened the door and walked out from there like he's going to kill someone.

"What?! The patriarch take another defective person in, again?!," exhilarated, angry, shocked and unbelievable were evident to his voice.

"Yes, first elder. It's already been a week pas-" the maid in yellow green uniform takes her courage to answer but her words were cutted pretty fast.

He stops at his track and turned over to the servants with menancing gaze.

"...And no one even informed me?!" His loud and angry voice reverberating throughout his courtyard. The servants flinched and anxiousness swelled up from their insides. Beads of cold sweat bulled up in their foreheads as they trembled when they immediately bowed and kneeled on the ground. Being too nervous she speak up and made a quick excuse. The maid besides her is trembling tremendously. She's utterly shock and scared out of wits. She didn't expect to meet trouble in her first day of ber work. Will she die today?...

"That... Ah... First elder was in seclusion at that time so this subordinate didn't inform first elder for the fear of disturbing the cultivation breakthrough."

The maid in orange clothing heard that the First elder of the elder have a high and mighty persona. He's arrogant and greedy for power and wealth. He easily got furious every time the matter is regarding the patriarch and it's sons, the young lord and young masters.

Others thought that the First Elder is coveting the patriarch's position. Since he became the First Elder many strange things happened and the sect changed little by little as time passed by. The authority

"What does that pathetic foolish patriarch wants to do again?... Hmph! Same old, same old! He still wish to accept those defective and weird people! Truly... The Sect's fate will be doomed if he's the one manage it. It seems like it's my time to 'help' the patriarch... hahaha" His spiritual qi seeped out and released a pressure out of anger.

The two poor maids spatted a mouthful fresh crimson blood from their mouths. One of them even passed out, overwhelmed from immense spiritual qi pressure. Who would not? They aren't cultivators of high level. How they resist a Beginner High Level 4 cultivator that just got out from successful breakthrough? It's already a miracle that they didn't die.

But the maid in yellow green clothing frantically picked up that fainted maid and dragged her away for the fear that the first elder might unleash his anger and raged on her any further.

The crazy laughter of the First Elder echoed inside his courtyard unfortunately his couryard have barrier that forced to stop all noises from inside from hearing outside.

It's like he's brewing some trouble in the future...

Meanwhile... At Patriarch's study room...

An old man standing so staight with his cupped hands in his back. He's back is facing a fine young man with long black hair and dark starless black eyes.

He suddenly turned his body towards the back. And now facing the young man face to face. He opened up his mouth, angry and cold but a little bit curious.

"Ah- Hei! Why did you bring the subordinates that I sent to a mission to the prison?" Faced with his father's expected questioning, Sun Hei Shen answered calmly.

"Father, I just did what I ought to do. How can I let a subordinates who acted freely and beyond the line without thinking of the sect's law and morality, go? As a next master of the Sun Sect's it's my responsibility to discipline so that they won't tarnish our sect's name in the future."

In Sun Hei Shen's eyes he can concludes that the things are much more complicated and bad than last time. His father is being too scared what might happen in the future now that the effectiveness of the patriarch's auhority is slipping away from his hands. He knows that his father is staying a low profile these few months. He even suspects that his father deliberately let the poison came into his body to make the enemy thinks that the patriarch is slowly losing his good judgment and capabilities.

"Ah- Hei, do you still remember a very verse from a book you read I gave you when you're little?" The patriarch lowered his gaze and it became somewhat soft and comfortable while his voice is low and the reminiscence the fast. Soon he went mumbling something. Even Sun Hei Shen who was a Beginner High Level 2 can't hear a single sound coming out from his father's mouth. This one is stange.

If one talks about the patriarch's feature, he have black eyes but reddish brown hair. The raven black hair of Sun Hei Shen, his son was inherited from his late wife. But he has the same mentality as him when little.

"Father, do you mean..." Sun Hei Shen is trying to sound out if his doubts are correct.

"Yes, it is what you're thinking... One of the verses from the great Lao Tzu's milatary moral book." The old man confirms his son's doubts.

Sun Hei Shen grins as he readies himself to recite the said verse from the book he read when he's little.

"*Cough cough... As the verse written from the book... The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security, he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered and his states and all their clans are preserved. That's it"

The pleasant and soothing voice flowed out. It speaks with such profound knowledge about the great leader.

I also read that there's a qualities of a great man... A man should be tough and calm like angular bone, elegant and flawless like jade and unwavering like a rock: these are the basic characteristics of a person; the loyalty of a wild wolf, the slyness of a fox and the patience of a leopard: these are the basic personalities to establish a foothold in the world; and the severity to heptakill and the cunningness of a greedy wolf: these are the basic means of power!" The patriarch started reciting some verse from an a book we might not know.

And then he suddenly said something that will give a huge shock to his eldest son. "Ah- Hei... I gave you the permission to hit me,"

"Father, you..."

"Hush! Ah- Hei, you're the first born. You possesses all the characteristics of your younger brothers. And  You see, the future seemed uncertain and we feel sometimes or maybe all the times that not all the result we want will always be the outcome. But things will be different if you insist. If you don't give up."

It seemed like Sun Hei Shen finally see through his father's actions. He is testing his desiciveness and judgement, training one with experience and realization. An enlightenment. Come to think of it, how great does a person's will power be? His mentality? And does his heart that strong to withstand any difficulties and harshness that may come in his way in the future? If not one persistent enough will one lost all its will and reason to leave? Can he overcome his fear and have a calm heart and clear mind for decisions?

"The power and authority are truly a great things. In this world that ruled by strong and powerful people, a person who's weak and doesn't have any awareness of your sorrounding. Power is great, so those authority, wealth and strength. But I do not wish you to loss your heart in the process of pursuit for power like those one who lost the path that they wanted to pave for themselves.," the patriarch finally confessed...
