Chapter. 24. Misunderstanding.

As Aai was working on the floor, suddenly a girl carrying colour containers misstepped, and while falling she handled the containers and fell. The colour still fell on Aai's work and the floor.

The girl: "I... I'm Sorry!". She got frightened and instantly apologized to Aai.

Aai suddenly got up making the girl more scared. The girl shut her eyes, thinking how she was going to end up being beaten by Aai but instead, a voice said, "Hey! Are you okay?".

The girl opened her eyes and saw Aai bending over with a worried look.

The girl was stunned and in a daze.

The others came over. Aai asked about her wellbeing

and offered her help. "...Thank....you...eek!".

Aai was surprised. "What!".

The girl: "I'm... Your work, I'm so sorry!".

Aai turned to notice the colour droplets splashed at the end of her workpiece. She sighed making the girl anxious.

Aai: "Just get up already. Have u hurt anywhere?"

The girl: "Ah!.....no". Aai helped her get up, took the box from her and placed it aside.

The girl again apologised but Aai comforted her. She was more worried about the girl.

This scene was seen by everyone who had gathered. They were surprised to see Aai's reaction and actions.

"Is she the one as the rumours described her".

"She looks calm though getting her work ruined".

They whispered among themselves.

The leader: "Hey! What's going on here?.....THE SCREEN!". She noticed the scene.

"..... ".

The leader: "Just what is going on here? You start fooling around within minutes of my absence don't you'll?". She gave a dark aura scaring everyone.

"Wai.....wait a minute leader. Calm down we weren't fooling around".

The leader: "Then what the hell is this? How did it happen?". She pointed at the floor.

Aai: "It was an accident..... I'll fix it".

The leader: "Could you not make any more mistakes? We don't have much time to fix errors".

Aai: "... I'm sorry...". saying she returned to her place.

The leader: "We need it by tomorrow....What are you all crowding here for, go back".

Everyone looked at each other and hesitated while returning then suddenly Max voiced, "Wait!".

Everyone looked at Max.

The leader: "What is it?".

Max: "You are blaming the wrong person here?".

The leader: "What?".

Max: "Hey! Don't you have something to tell?". He looked at that girl.

The girl: ".... Actually leader it's my fault".

The whole situation was explained.

The leader: "Oh! That's what....Then why didn't you tell me before!?".

The girl: "...".

The leader: "Well sorry Aai for those words I said, I'm sorry".

Aai: ".... It's fine".

After that, everyone continued their practice.

The girl: "Umm....thanks for that".

Aai: "... it's nothing".

The girl: "Then let me clean out...".

Aai: "...".

Max: "...You are a kind person or just lazy to speak?".

Aai: "....Was unnecessary.."

Max: "Hmm...shy?...".

Aai: "Huh!..."

Max: "Hmm...".

Aai: "....!...wha...stop that!".

Max patted Aai's head, "Good girl".

"Huh!" Aai struggled but Max kept teasing her, "Hehehe...". As he was playing around someone called him. He felt someone's sharp glare making him alarmed.

He turned around, "....!".

Chase stood behind irritated and angry.

Max: "Ch... Chase! I was coming to you only. Please don't...Aaah!". While he kept talking Chase pulled his ear.

Chase: "You know why I'm angry right!! ?". He raises his chin as he glared.

Max: "Yeah I'm going back!". He freed himself and ran away.

The next day Aai completed the screen and arranged the stage for the practice. Then they began their trial.

The leader: "Good...then next is....".

Aai was done with her task. Observing them for some time she went out for a stroll. As she was walking on the grounds, she saw Belis sitting on the bench looking at the sky.

Aai: "... ?... Break?". She went and sat beside Belis.

Belis was delighted to see Aai. "...!...Yes senior".

For a few following days, Belis was always waiting at that bench for Aai. Aai kept thinking that she was there for breaks.

One day as Aai was on her way back to the room, she found one girl searching for Belis. She noticed Aai, first, she got startled, next hesitated then she went back.

Aai felt suspicious. She stood there for seconds then entered the room. She was bothered by something.

The leader: "Ai...Aai! Where are you lost? Come help me...".
