300 Who Says Life Is Fair?

"Are you sure you're already at Lvl-3?" Marci asked, narrowing her eyes at Emma. "How could you miss that badly for your second strike?"

Emma just shrugged. "I don't know. Let me try again. I just lacked focus earlier."

She exerted her energy on her right palm and charge toward the bullseye target. This time she was 'almost successful' in hitting the target, only missed it by several inches.

Emma decided to use the five minutes given to her to hit the target two more times, for a total of three. Even though she wanted to hide her abilities from her classmates, she still had to look like she was already at Lvl-3. Otherwise, they would call her a liar.

Marci finally nodded in satisfaction. "Hmm .. I guess maybe your previous assessment wasn't really accurate. Maybe you're actually at Lvl-2. But that's okay. It's pretty good too."

"Thank you," said Emma.
