Emma understood how many people were fascinated by the idea by the idea of flying. She was an aeromancer and could easily fly. She had also ridden the dragon with Marlowe a few times. And for that, she had to consider herself lucky.
Marlowe rubbed his chin. "Dragons are a prideful and arrogant kind of creature. They usually don't like it when they're being used for riding unless they truly enjoy being with the person or respect them."
"How can we do that though? Not all of us can talk to them like you, Professor Marlowe."
The Beast Master raised a brow. "Being able to communicate with them is a good thing, a very great ability if you have it. But it's not necessary to go dragon-riding. Like I said, respect is necessary."
"How do you do that though? We can't speak with it."
Marlowe shrugged. "What do you think allows a dragon to respect you?"
"You mean you can make a dragon respect you by simply showing off your powers?"
