Tea Time With Primordials

Entry 80:

Linus Ozias POV:

As I stared at Gaea having a chat with someone, I realized why she seemed so familiar. It was another primordial.

Nyx, the primordial of darkness, the one who created Hypnos, Thanatos, and Oneroi and would later join her brother Erebus in the Alliance of Hell to deal with the main cast as they viewed the growing power of sacred gears as a threat to the balance of the world.

In other words, they were afraid of the beings that could contend against them given enough time and training.

The two then notice my entrance as Gaia immediately rushes towards me and gives me a hug, which I return, totally not enjoying the sensation of her form on my body.

The primordial of darkness then stares at us with an amused expression as much like many of the women in this universe, she is a very sadistic person, if not a bit whimsical.

"So Gaea, this is the Angel you keep prattling on about, and to be honest, I can see it. His light is different. It's like an all-encompassing plane of existence where you can just relax."

The primordial then proceeds to use some of her darkness in the form of spears as I raise my hand and create holy constructs within the space as they cancel each other out.

Seeing that the woman is not serious, I am myself and barely using my strength right now as I still have my god mode, which, even to this day, is growing stronger.

But they do not need to know that just yet.

Gaea just smirks at the display and says excitedly, "See Nyx, isn't his presence such a  wonderful feeling and I get to enjoy it every day."

This goddess is promoting me like I am her husband, and she is talking to her co-workers. It is rather amusing, but I would rather like to get a say in this. "It is an honor to meet the Primordial of Darkness, Lady Nyx, and ask how you located this area of the mindscape."

Nyx simply scoffs and says, "Well, it wasn't exactly an invitation as our favorite planet over here decided to pull me into the mindscape to have a conversation as you were busy, and I was interested in the angel she keeps talking about as well as the presence I felt from Japan a couple days ago."

Nyx then walks over to me and stares me in the eye as she nods and returns to her seat at the table.

"I approve, Gaea. I see it. The spark is there." Gaea smiles wider as she pulls me to the table where I can sit, as I have no actual weight in the mindscape.

The spark? She must be referring to my potential to become an actual deity, which, while I can assume the form temporarily is not a true divinity, and eventually, I'll be able to enter it and leave it at will for now, it is like a Super Saiyan form.

But unlike most deities, once I am sufficiently strong enough, I can keep myself existing as a god without worshipers. Still, once I take over God's seat in this world, I will have a sufficient number of worshipers, which will be negligible, to say the least, due to my growing strength.

I plan to improve Michael so that he may control the system while I am away, and I can use my empowering charges to increase his potential because, from my scans of God's system, it was only made to be used by a being near or at his strength.

While also having an understanding of the basic principles of God himself, his truth, his might, and his knowledge.

The encounter itself is reasonably pleasant as both Gaea and Nyx have much catching up to do, while I do not interrupt as I am happy that the goddess of the Earth can converse with her fellow primordials after such a long time.

But then the primordial of darkness turns to me and asks, "So angel, I can sense you're growing strength even if only barely, which is surprising, but I must ask what is your goal as you seem different from other angels you hold that spark that ambition that can change worlds."

So, as I sit in silence contemplating my answer, I decide to give her the bare bones one: "Lady Nyx, my goal remains ever the same: to protect and aid humanity not out of a need for worship but because of a need of the fact that they require a guiding hand even if one they cannot see."

This response causes her eyes to slightly widen, but I continue, "I have seen a few futures where this world comes to an end from outside forces that can make even Great Red look like fodder in comparison, and I would like to simply prepare for it."

After saying this, both primordials look at me as if I was insane, but the primordial of the Earth nods as she trusts me enough to think that I am not lying, which I am not, even if my goal isn't that entire thing that I mentioned.

The only reason I can talk about this is because my Essences keeps what I am saying from prying eyes.

As the two take the information that I have revealed, the primordial of darkness looks me over as if attempting to assuage whether or not I am lying, and I assume the answer is favorable as she says, "Well, I am skeptical of such a claim I understand that you angels are not the lying sort other than your Fallen brethren and from your actions so far I can see you as an honorable individual so I shall take your word, but for now I must leave and ponder this information goodbye New Light and Gaea I am happy that you have found some semblance of peace."

She then bows and leaves the mindscape, and while it may have been a risk telling her about such threats, even if only with basic information, I know that she is not insane enough to declare war on them like a certain chaotic Lucifer.

Gaea looks at me with concern as she asks, "Will you be prepared to face them when they arrive?" I answer confidently, "If my plan proceeds as I see it, the invasion itself will not begin until 30 more years, which will be plenty of time. I just have to keep a certain devil from declaring war on them for fun and giggles."

On that front, I am gaining some progress as my spies Within the Khaos Brigade have been giving me information on various bases as well as other members, such as the old Satan faction, that I can bring to the peace conference table.

Everything hinges on that peace conference going well in regards to the Gremory marriage with the Phenex household I am not involved as external factions cannot be involved in the preparation nor playing of such games.

But it is not important as it is my personal belief that in the original story, the only reason the marriage was pushed forward was that the Phenex household worried that Rias gaining access to the Red Dragon would allow her to win the rating game, so without the main character of the story being reincarnated as a devil they would have no reason to accelerate the marriage process.

It is understandable why the Phenex household would accelerate the marriage it is because you never want to give a Longinus user time to learn to use their abilities.

But that household forgot one key thing the fact that Rias's brother at any time can just say, "Fuck the rules, I am a Lucifer" he could do so at any time and only does not do so because he fears another civil conflict.

But who knows, they may still accelerate the marriage, seeing the young Gremory's growth rate as it is even stated in the original story that by Rias simply existing, she could grow to Ultimate class without training.

Regardless of what any established material or fanfic states, the Satan's only goes along with the status quo because it keeps another war from breaking out, but given enough push, they could end entire factions in days.

I sigh internally as such politics bores me, in all honesty, which is why I never want to deal with such processes. While it is essential to have other voices in the decision-making, I sometimes admit that one voice is all that is needed.

Does such a line of thinking make me a tyrant? Most likely, but as I've stated before, I have always enjoyed seeing their plans play out.

Some part of me even takes pride in the fact that I am the one who knows best because I have such foreknowledge.

But such a line of thinking is dangerous as it can open me up to making mistakes or becoming overconfident even if I am at base a low God level. It is not enough.

Others would be blessed to have such a rate of growth as within only a month, I have gone from high class to a low God level, and with my god mode on, I go to nearly Peak God level, but I still desire more. I need more.

Because, unlike the previous world, I have something to fight for, and as cliche as it is, I am fighting for the world so that the little fox and an innocent nun need not grow up in a time of chaos and so that I may explore the Multiverse unhindered and without a doubt in my mind.

But to also give something people can believe in as it is without belief, we devolve and stagnate.

Gaia, seeing my most likely serious expression, places a hand on my arm and smiles as I look at her and know that regardless of any grand plans, that is what is most important. The smiles on their faces.

So, as I give her a little peck on the head, which causes the primordial to blush, I leave the mindscape with Gaea yelling about how she will get me back for that. Such actions motivate me even further motivated to end any and all threats.

As I open my eyes, I see the Infinite Dragon God lying on my chest, still staring at me with her empty black eyes as all she says are two words: "Food, Please."

At least she's now saying please.
