93 A Knight Reawakened And Iscariot's Rise

Entry 82:

Linus Ozias POV:

I returned to Kuoh Academy and was met with a greeting party from Akeno and Rias as the former was looking at me with intense desire.

Rias Gremory then takes the initiative: "Greetings again, Lord Anakim, and I thank you for your service to Kuoh."

I wave my hand as I say nonchalantly, "There is no need for thanks, Lady Gremory, as I was simply rendering necessary judgment." I paused as the two looked at me.

"I  often take no pride in killing, especially dealing blows to former members of the cloth nor my fallen brothers and sisters."

A silence hung in the air as Akeno asked, "We should head to the club room for a more private conversation."

I nod as we enter the grounds and find an interesting sight. I see the protagonist of this world, a known super pervert, bowing an apology to the Kendo Club he so often peeked on.

I could use my enhanced hearing to hear their conversation. Still, from the snippets I heard, I can hear that the former protagonist is willing to change along with the two friends behind him. I also subtly manipulated them to be more understanding.

Before any of you say that that was wrong, they were all heading towards the path of Serial sexual assaulters/ harassers. I think this is better.

And with the protagonist specifically, no one will notice his sacred gear, so he should be able to live an everyday life unless he runs into a stray devil or priest, but that is unlikely.

I smile internally as we approach the occult research club's main building. Usually, most would comment on how rickety it looks. Still, I can see the truth as the entire structure is reinforced with magic and covered with an illusion.

As we proceeded through the hallways towards their main meeting room, I noticed the door covered in seals, and it was elementary for me to bypass them and view the cross-dressing vampire within.

I somewhat mentally complain over the fact that I'm not going to be able to analyze his time manipulation abilities, but then I will wait for the peace conference.

Worse comes to worse. I can simply force his Forbidden Balor View to activate myself similarly to what the human magicians did in the second season of the anime.

It is actually much simpler than one thinks, as simply causing the sacred gear to activate is as simple as one sending shocks to the soul, which causes the sacred gear to act in defense of its host.

Upon entering the room, I noticed each member of her peerage was there, with the blonde one, Kiba, looking at me with intense anger and hatred that was only being held back by the fact that his King was there.

Well, I find his hatred of holy swords and their wielders distasteful from a purely logical standpoint. I remember that these devils are very emotional beings, and even I can be emotional.

If I were to argue that he should not hate holy swords for causing the death of his friends, I would be a hypocrite, even if his hatred is factually illogical on many levels.

Rias then takes her place at the desk. I state something I wish to say first: "Before we begin, I would like to mention the fact that your knight is continuously staring at me with intense hatred and rage, and I would like to know why, even though I have my suspicions."

Kiba then shouts in rage, "You truly do not recognize me, or do you even remember the holy sword project!?"

I sigh as I say solemnly, "I remember the holy sword project and know that it was done without Heaven's approval, and if you saw the rage on the archangel's faces and what they did to that site when you left, you would understand."

This party I am in was not there. Still, he heard the stories from the angels that accompanied Michael and Gabriel to the site of the massacre. Some were even injured just by being in their presence.

"I understand your rage, your pain, your loss, but you can't see them, can you?"

Kiba then looks at me, confused, as I continue, "Their souls have latched on to you and are watching in despair that you are continuously living, no, not even living but surviving off of the rage you hold for the holy swords."

The knight then looks disturbed at this as he looks to me as if uncertain of this truth, so I need to prove it as I use my creation magic to give spiritual form to the specters,

A group of children glowing in a blueish light as one of the younger ones states, "Hello, Isaiah. It's good to see you."

The knight, with tears in his eyes, attempts to hug them but falls through them as I shake my head. While I could create bodies for them, it would be pointless as their souls are no longer there. All that remains are specters or imprints of their feelings and voices.

The specters reach out to him and place their hands on his shoulders, and he then falls unconscious.

His peerage rushes to his age as Rias asks me concerned "What happened to Kiba?"

I watch as his soul is put into a trial to test his will to move on.

"The specters that reside in your night or testing his will to live or to Simply move on from the pain he is currently reliving his worst memories. At worst, he will wake up and have learned nothing, but on the other hand, he could reawaken something different."

I then use my aura and comforting presence to its full effect as I kneel down next to the knight and I state, "Break off the chains that hold you down, knight of Gremory, and awaken to a new world and understand that the faults of the past and the trauma shall act as your whetstone to sharpen your blade and understand that you are not alone."

I then retract my aura, and in my presence, it has seemingly affected the room as their familiars have snuggled up against me with Konoke purring on my shoulders.

What is it with my shoulders and people just loving to climb on top of them?

But using this distraction, I quickly increase my perception speed to grab the hairpin from the white cat and, using my creation magic, replace it with an exact replica.

I then lift Kiba and place him onto one of the chairs as I know he will wake up, if not in a couple of hours, a new man or devil.

Did I need to help out her peerage like this? Probably not, but it was a necessary sacrifice to keep the red dragon from her.

After a couple of minutes to fix the minor damage to the room, Rias Gremory says with more emotion in her voice, "As I mentioned before the gate, I thank you for everything you've done for this town even if the time you've spent here was short and hope that we may meet again."

I give her a slight bow. As I teleport back to my residence, my mission is complete as I enter the USB drive hidden in the cat's hairpin into the computer and copy the data, and it is a treasure trove.

Now, I could essentially create or recreate different races from the Nekoshou to the devils, And while there was no Massacre, as that is completely fan fiction, their population is low, incredibly so, as there are only a couple dozen of them recorded on the planet.

Because Yokai that can become sages are rare, the previously mentioned race of cat girls is unsurprisingly the most prominent one and, as such, are born only once, maybe every couple of centuries.

To be honest, all this talk of cat girls and Yokai reminds me of a conversation I had with one of my coworkers as we debated whether nine-tailed women or cat girls were better.

I argued for the former while he argued for the latter, and it all ended with us agreeing that both are good as both represent the perfect amount of floof.

Good times, those were good times.

If my coworkers or my family saw me now they probably be crying with envy while my family would be wondering whether or not I'd be having children.

I miss them, and who knows, maybe they reincarnated into other worlds, even if not with their memories. I hope they're living well.

But right now, I have received orders from Heaven to return to base to give my report of the situation to the rest of the archangels.

For now, I leave this town in the hands of A2, with B2 returning to base as she's only able to access Heaven once I officially unveil my organization.

I have been seeing progress on the mundane side as Bulma's company has proliferated rapidly within this month. She has nearly become integral to the economy of America as her technology is leagues ahead of what they have initially.

Their work makes me proud, and I let them know it as I am in contact with them as they give their reports, and I'm constantly praising them for their hard work. While I ask them to take breaks, they remind me of the MPCs from Overlord as they seemingly don't want to.

But I understand that even if I have not programmed this drive into them, this is something they have all developed, and when I mentioned the fact that I had to be tested by the Archangel Uriel and I was injured, I had to stop some of my Androids from assaulting Heaven.

It is nice to know that my creations adore me, so I created them to be loyal. They did not have to actually like me, but I like to think that I am such a great boss that they do.

Currently, my Iscariot organization has a decent number of branches, each dedicated to a different operational capacity.

Each branch is given a different job, such as the research branch or Mechanicus, which is split off into magical and scientific research, in addition to the more offensive chapters that deal with guarding and protection or Legions.

In contrast, the ones dealing with breaking into various terrorist organizations in factions or by the name I know them as Officio Assassinorum.

At the moment, I have thousands upon hundreds of thousands of Androids combing the world for various threats.

I hope my next Essence allows me to take them all with me because it will be very annoying to have to set this all up again.

So as I pack up and he needed materials in my hammerspace that I have connected to my soul, thus making it nigh unreachable, I return to Heaven and find Gabriel waiting for me with a not-so-happy smile on her face.

"I am in danger," I think to myself as I approach the Gates of Heaven.
