Never Ending Problems

The next day, Sia put extra effort into her appearance. She wore a black off-shoulder cropped top with white sequins and a black skirt. She made her hair into a messy bun. Her loose tresses caressed her forehead and cheeks, making her even more attractive. A black choker made her milky neck more visible. She put on pink colored lip gloss and went to work.

Everybody was astonished by the change in her appearance. She became the center of attraction. Even Daniel could not resist her charms. He kept on staring at her even during the shooting process. After the shoot was over, Daniel came towards Sia who finished talking to Mr. Reasus.

"You look quite.....enchanting."

The passion in Daniel's tone was enough to let others realize that he was head over heels in love with her.

"Thank you."

She replied after passing a smile to him.

"Then, let's go for dinner together."

That was odd for him. Daniel was a reserved person who seldom went out. Being alone, he liked staying home. Even in his past affairs, his girlfriends would always complain that he would never take them anywhere. That was odd for him but whatever he was thinking, he liked it.

"Okay. Let's go after I finish my work."

"Then, I will wait for you in the dressing room."

"Done."

She went away to discuss something important with Mr. Reasus. She was heading towards the dressing room when she received a text message. She opened it and saw pictures of her and Daniel entering his apartment. Another picture was of Daniel helping her take her coat off. Some other pictures included her sleeping with Daniel by her side. It was heavily edited.

Her anxiety was increasing with every swipe. She hesitatingly dropped her phone. As soon as she came to her senses, she picked up her phone and hurried to Daniel.

In the dressing room, Daniel was also sitting in a frustrated manner. His forehead was balanced by one of his hands. He had also received the same photos with the demand of 5 million dollars or else those photos would be published on all social media sites.

Sia banged open the door to the dressing room. Daniel stood up, staring at her. Tears rolled down her eyes. She was sobbing.

"What happened?", said Daniel while holding her face with both of his hands.

He was worried. She started to cry and he involuntarily hugged her. When both of them realized what they were doing, they pushed each other.

"See!"

She said while wiping tears from her cheeks. Her beautiful face had turned pale and red from crying. She put forward her phone which had those pictures. He was surprised how her number got leaked. Was it one person or a group, trying to defame him? It seemed obvious that they knew her background as they had only sent her the pictures and not demanded anything. It made him realize that they knew that she belonged to a middle-class family.

"What should we do now?"

Sia asked.

"First wipe your tears."

Daniel made her sit down on the sofa and gave her a box of tissue papers.

"I will look into this matter. Don't worry. I'll drop you at the hotel."

"What about the dinner?"

"Some other time."

Suddenly, his phone rang. He received a message from the stalker. It read.

"I'm givin' ya two days. Avoid it or face it."

"Who is it?", asked her.

"No one."

He held her one hand and grabbed her back with his other hand to help her stand up. She was exhausted by continuous weeping. As they came out of the dressing room, all of the other employees started to worry about her devastated state. Daniel knew that this would again result in a scandal but he didn't care as he had other things to be concerned about. He took her to her hotel in his car and took her to her room.

He took off her black sneakers and socks. He made her lie on her bed and put a blanket over her. He also asked the room service to bring food for her. When she was asleep, he called Mr. Reasus to request him to send Lisa and Nat back to the hotel so that they can take care of Sia. He agreed.

After that, he called his friend, Jacob, who worked in the cybercrime wing, to meet him in order to discuss the matter. Jacob was a busy person, and having a meeting with him was a big task. He threw tantrums at first, but agreed to meet after Daniel told him that he wanted his help with a case.

Daniel went outside the hotel and went to a small cafe that was far away from the hotel. A tall sturdy man with a snake tattoo on his arm was sitting there, having a glass of beer. He sat beside him.

"Why did you call me here?"

"I want you to do something for me."

"Now, who do you want to investigate?"

"Nobody."

"Do you know how many times have I risked my job for you?"

"This matter is important."

"Everything is important to you, bro."

Daniel told him all that happened. After listening, Jacob replied:

"Okay.....I would look into this. Anything else?"

"I want him BEHEADED!"

"There he goes again!", Thought Jacob.
