Hello Mother

Asterin's Phone beeped  causing her to wake up, she turned and Ryan was still fast asleep,he looked so cute and peaceful in his Sleep she traced the outline of his Jaw and touched his lips,as she leaned forward to Kiss him his eyes shot open "what are you doing Asterin,it's a little to early for that don't you think?" He asked making her cheeks flush "Good morning to you too"she replied grimly "morning Girlfriend"

"Hmmm...I like the sound of that"

"So how are your Powers now,did they return" he asked unintentionally ruining her mood "I don't wish to Speak about it"she said and headed to the bathroom,she really needed some alone time it wasn't his fault but she needed time to think

    "Goodbye Malibu!!!" Renee yelled as Marc pulled up in the driveway of the Airport "shut up,you're disgracing us"Ryan scolded his little sister as went into the terminal.

     The rest of the Flight was Quite,for Asterin she spent the long 7 hours thinking about How Great her powers were, and now that she didn't have them it felt like a part of her was ripped away.

   "Wake up babe, we're home" Ryan woke Asterin ,as they got home,he noticed a car was parked in this driveway he hoped it wasn't who he thought it was,all his prayers were Futile as he opened his front door to reveal his mother and of course,Stacie "Hello Ry,Ry"she said rushing over to him and pulling him into a tight hug "Christ" he muttered under his breath "hello mother" he replied trying to force a smile "well ,you don't look to happy to see me"she said "it's nothing like that"

"I need to talk to you"

"Yeah what's up"

"Alone"she said obviously referring to Asterin "babe,go and freshen up I'll be up in a minute"he whispered,she nodded and went up to her room but not without giving Stacie a Death Glare

"Are you deaf,my Mother's wants to talk to me alone"he said grimly to Stacie,she Winced a bit but Annie said"no I want to talk to both about something,you might want to sit down for this one"she said sipping her coffee "ok mother what's up"Ryan demanded,wanting to get over with the conversation quickly,he wanted to check up on Asterin"well you're not getting younger and I think it's time for you to take a bride, we're having the 27th annual Grey Gala tommorow I think it'll be a good  place to announce your engagement to Stacie"Ryan stared at his mother,then at Stacie his gaze moved from the two women intermittently before he finally burst out laughing "you're joking right" he asked but when he saw the serious look on his mother's face his smile faded "no I'm very serious Ryan,you need to marry Stacie,a collaboration between both companies will be Good for Us"she said not considering her son's feelings "I'm sorry I can't marry her,Asterin is the woman I love"he said bluntly making Stacie tear up "Annie,I told you he doesn't love me,he loves her"she sniffed,and Annie pulled her closer "no no sweetie,I'll talk to him he will marry you,okay"

"Is there anything else?"

"No that would be all,but let me advise you if you try to do anything funny at the gala tommorow there will be consequences"

He shrugged and  disregarded his mother's warning,he was going to ask Asterin to marry him in front of everyone at the Gala.
