Regaining Lost Memories

Keren's Point of View

Nagising ako sa ingay na naririnig ko sa paligid ko. Ngunit hindi ko pa binuksan ang aking mga mata.

"Do you think she's okay now, doc?" asked by a womans voice who i guess is my mom.

'What is she doing here?!'

Hindi naman ako tanga para hindi malaman na nasa hospital ako ngayon. Base pa lamang sa amoy nito ay alam ko na. Kabisadong-kabisado ko na ang matinding amoy ng zonrox ng punda unan na gamit ko ngayon.

"There's nothing more to worry about, Mrs. Geronimo. She's doing fine. She just needs rest and rest and rest." rinig ko pang sagot nung doctor kay Mommy.

"But Doc, what did cause her to be unconscious? Like.. bakit siya bigla na lang nawalan ng malay?" this time ay boses naman ni Kuya Kieffer ang narinig ko.

'Don't tell me my whole family is here?!'

"She's having her memory back, Kieffer. That's the reason of her sudden unconsciousness. I think she's somehow regaining her past memory." now it's kuya Kenzo that I heard. Pero teka..

'Regaining my m-memory?? What the heck does that mean??'

Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko. Dahan-dahang iminulat ko na ang aking mga mata at agad na napunta sa akin ang atensyon nilang lahat.

"Oh my god! Baby your awake!" Mommy said and I saw her tears burst down from her cheeks and then she gave me a hug.

"Thank God!" I heard Daddy mumbled while looking at the cross on the wall on top of me.

"Good thing you're awake now," kuya Kenzo said with a wide smile as always. Humiwalay naman ng yakap sa akin si Mommy.

"W-What happened?" tanong ko sa kanila nagpapanggap na hindi ko natatandaan ang nangyari kanina.

Nagkatinginan naman si Mommy and Daddy pati na rin si Kuya Kenzo ay nilingon ni Kuya Kieffer.

"Baby.. you should get some rest first. After that we'll explain to you what happened, okay?" si Mommy

"No. I wanna know it know, Mommy. What's with my past memory??" I asked and I saw how shock their faces were when I said that.

"K-Keren.." agad na napalingon ako sa pumasok sa room ko. It was.. Ayesha? Wait.. what is she doing here?

"A-Ayesha? Anong ginagawa mo rito?" I asked. Bakit siya nandito? Like.. other than my family, imposible namang malaman ng kung sino ang nangyari sa akin diba?

"K-Keren.. oh my god!" laking gulat ko ng yakapin niya ako. I even felt her tears on my shoulder.

'S-Shes.. crying?'

'But why is that?!!'

Then I felt my head aching in pain. I groaned in too much pain that made my parents panicked.

"Keren, let's play!"

"Sure, Yesh!"

"How about let's play with our bikes? My mom just bought me a new one!"

"Wow! That would be great!"

"Let's tell, Kay-Kay to join us!"

"That's a great idea!"

"A-Argh!" agad na napahawak ako sa ulo ko sa sobrang sakit nito!

"Oh my god!"

"Jesus! Kenzo you're a doctor, right? Tell me what's happening to you're sister!!" Daddy yelled at Kuya Kenzo.

Agad na nilapitan naman ako ni Kuya Kenzo at saka ng ilan sa mga nurse na pumasok sa room ko.

'W-What's happening??'

"Ahhhh! Argh! Mommyyyy!!" sigaw ko ng makaramdam ng sobrang pananakit ng ulo ko.

— FLASHBACK —

"You all don't love me anymore! I hate you all! I hate you!!"

"Keren, comeback here!"

"No! Leave me alone!!"

I ran as fast I can to my room. I close the door and go to the nearest corner i could found.

I open my phone and dialed Kay-Kay's number. In just 2 rings he immediately answer the call.

"Hey there, Princess."

*sniff*

"Kay.. huhu!"

"Are you crying? Where are you?"

"Kay.."

"Let's ride our bike?"

My mood bright up because of his suggestions.. so i run downstairs quietly and went out using the backdoor.

I took out my bike from the garage and rode it until I reach the outside of our subdivision. And there I saw Kay-Kay on the other side smiling at me with his bike on his side.

He gave me the best comforting smile that I would ever want to see forever in my life. I smiled at him back that made him smile more.

I love his dimple so much! It's just so cute on him! But still im much cuter? Nah! I'm the cutest of all! Hehe!

I was about to cross the road. I was like half way through when I heard a sudden shout from my left corner.

"Kuya Kieffer?"

And everything went black.
