Yanhe opened the small bag and saw 20 gold coins. "Impressive, you have gold coins. I guess you are a young master from a wealthy family." he stated while counting the money.

Lila did not react, she just stared at Yanhe, keeping herself on guard.

"How are you related to that guy? I know a lot of people and this is the first time I see you." Yanhe questioned.

"I don't have any reason to answer your question." Lila scoffed.

Yanhe put away the money and he sharply looked at the young man. Observing the young man, it looks lean and weak but he has a good feature especially the face.

He's really a good-looking guy on par with him or maybe if he wears something neat he'll be more gorgeous than him.

With that thought it ticks him off, just a low level ant and he's talking arrogantly to him. Such a self-conceited youth who doesn't know who he is talking to.

If only he was not in a hurry to go back and continue to find Lila, he would make sure to kill this guy right here. He looked away and turned towards his underlings and provided instruction for the remaining people.

Before he left, he said: "Don't poke your nose too much on other people's business. You may be someone important in your place but here in the Capital you're nothing but trash." he jeered.

He leaped up, vanished in Lila's sight. After she confirmed that Yanhe's really gone, she sighed in relief. She brought Magus back to where she's staying at and booked another room for him.

She took out medicines she concocted and cleaned Magus wounds. She may not be a doctor but she knows how to do a first aid. She then requested a doctor to the Innkeeper to have Magus' big wounds stitched.

"That fiend is really detestable. He really wanted to kill this guy." Amith commented.

Lila just nodded, she just watched the doctor who's attending Magus. After several hours, the doctor was done stitching Magus wounds and declared that he's stable. She walked the doctor out and returned to her room.

She thought back on what happened earlier and her wind magic she discovered. She can't believe that she had that kind of strong magic and power that she can defeat someone who had a higher spirit power than her.

What she just defeated were guys who're at the Orange Spirit Power level. They were supposed to be stronger than her, strong power and different kinds of magic was thrown to her but she was able to evade it all. She thought of something and looked at Amith.

"How was I able to defeat those guys earlier Amith? With the level of power that I have, I should be weaker than them." Lila uttered.

"I increased the level of magic that you released earlier my Mistress. Though I don't have a physical body, when you use your magic I can assist you and make your attacks 3 full cultivations higher than what you actually have." he replied and then added.

"That's the maximum level that I can assist you with as of now but when you advance to higher spirit power levels. It will also increase, if Yanhe did not evade your attack earlier and fight it head-on. He will surely be dead right now."

"So, how strong are you really?" Lila asked.

"If I do have my physical body, I'm stronger than anyone on this continent." he proudly said.

Lila did not comment, with what she observed with Amith she knew that he's saying the truth.

She took out herbs and utensils in her spatial ring that she purchased earlier. It's already deep in the night and she doesn't like to go out and watch the play anymore. Since she has the utensils and ingredients she needed, started concocting medicine with the help of Lord Layla's memories.

While somewhere in the Capital, things were crashing and breaking. Yanhe was not able to control his anger, flipped the table and kicked the man on his side.

"Useless fools! Only a single woman but you can't even find her!" Yanhe was fuming with rage.

"Use your heads and find her all over the Capital!"

Yanhe punched the wall, he can't believe that Lila did not show up at the plaza as what she said. He waited for many hours and had his men on their respected spots, ready to abduct the young miss.

But seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours but no Lila showed up. He was stone to death waiting for her.

"How dare you to ditch me you bitch." he vexed.

After long hours, Lila finished concocting. It was already noon the next day but she was not feeling hungry or tired at all, she freshened up, visited Magus to check his condition and cultivated for a while. She already forgot that someone's already crazy finding her.

Afternoon after she did everything she had to do, she went out and inquired about some information and bought a map for a certain place she wanted to go.

Three days later, Lila was now walking in a dense forest. Far away from the Capital, there's a secluded place which has higher essence and some cultivators will go there to train.

But that forest has a lot of dangers in it but also a place of opportunity.

Before she left, she already hired a servant that will take care of Magus, though he's already woken up but since he's not fully recovered. She had someone to take care of him while she was out. Magus tried to decline it many times but Lila was so stubborn that leave him with no choice.

He also wanted to come with her but with his condition, he can only lament on how weak he was. Lila settled everything first and had herself ready for this journey. She knows the dangers but she's more on the bright side and excited about what things she can get, especially the herbs she wanted to get.

Walking towards the inner part of the forest, she already encountered ferocious animals and killed them; she also picked up some herbs that she can use later.

Moving her foot forward and clearing her way onto the plants, she noticed not far from her, a young man lying on the ground, chest downwards.

He has a lot of wounds and cuts on his body, he's bleeding badly and maybe he's on the verge of death.

I just want to say thank you that you read this chapter. I also can't believe that I was able to reach chapter 17 but I know it has a long way to go.

It's still the tip of the iceberg and I still haven't introduced the male lead yet. Though my time is limited because of work, I will find time to write.

I may not have a definite schedule but will try to upload as much as I can.
