A path of understanding things

Reaching her destination, Lila just stayed there for a whole day reading books. When she's holding books, reading and understanding the details she wants to know. Lila won't have time to think about food or anything because of her concentration, she would forget everything when she's so focused on her work.

Mari tried a couple of times to get her attention to let her eat but Lila seemed not to notice her. So Mari just left the food on the table next to where Lila was and respectfully left and did not disturb her young miss any longer.

Kadi looked for his daughter too but when he heard that Lila's in the library, he just dropped the thought and let her be. Though he's confused as to why her daughter would go to the library the moment she woke up. He knows that his daughter hated reading books.

A week passed, for one week, Lila always went to the Library to read books. After she realized that it's already past midnight she walked out of the library, washed her body and slept. After a couple of hours of sleep, she woke up early, freshened up, ate and went to the library again. That was her routine.

They just let her be, you can say that they leave her be because of Lila's condition. Even Kadi only talked to her daughter a few times. "Sevastian, what can you say about my daughter's attitude these past days?" Kadi asked while looking and reading the files on his table. Although he was a general, he needed to study the files and make a report to the emperor.

Sebastian standing at the right side of the general assisting him said, "I can say that the young miss's attitude and behavior was different after the accident. I do believe that it's because of her temporary amnesia that she can't remember some things and she's trying to learn again."

Hearing what his trusted aide said, Kadi put the pen down and touched his forehead. "My poor little daughter, because my enemies want to get rid of me they want to harm my daughter too. Sevastian, have you already got the information of the assassins and who hired them?" with sharp eyes, Kadi looked at Sevastian.

Sevastian shook his head, "Report to the general, as of this moment we have not gotten any information yet. The assassins who tried to kill the young miss were strong and the only captured assassin killed himself before we could interrogate him. We found out that he ate a poison pill after we got him." he reported.

Kadi clenched his fist, "Those despicable people! Just they wait, when I find out who they are I'm going to skin them alive!"

While they were talking, a servant boy rushed into the hall, kneel with one foot on the ground and announced.

"Lord Kadi, King Judhe's son, young master Yanhe is here to visit the young miss!"
