“ Where have you been?” I suddenly went stiffed on my place when I heard Jay's voice in front of me, the time I opened the door of their headquarters. The headquarters of HYPHEN. The most heart flattering and well-known boy group of 4th gen. Dito ako pinatuloy muna ni ate at hinabilin kay Jay kanina dahil pinuntahan nya ang isa nyang alaga sa hospital. Jake Sim. Nang magtaas ako ng tingin sa kanya ay grabe ang aking kaba. He looks so scary while leaning on the door. Like a father who gonna scold his child anytime soon. Isama pa ang salubong nyang kilay at matatalim na titig sa akin. Pati ang makapal na rolyo ng papel sa kamay nya. Parang konti nalang ang pagtitimpi nya at ipapalo nya na sa'kin ang bagay na yon. “ Sa labas?” I uncertainly asked as I wry. Halos manliit ako kasabay ng panliliit ng mata nya. Agad kong niyakap ang sarili ko at napalabi. I think he doesn't like my answer. Patay! “ You know that I don't speak tagalog right?” he asked while emphasizing the every word. I didn't even know how he spoke it with gritting teeth while his face still remain stoic. “ I went outside.” I answered while pinching my hand like a kid. “ With whom?” he suddenly ejected while his eyes became fiercer to me. “ With someone.” “ With whom?” “ With a friend!” I shouted. Paulit-ulit! “ Okay!” he surrendered and waved his hand in front of me like he already understood the reason. He just rolled his eyes and looked away before he opened the door widely for me. Ngingiti na sana ako dahil hindi nya ako isusumbong pero sya nga pala si Jay— The coldest and heartless person I met. “ I'll just report this to your sister.” he casually said like I'm not going to be punished after he report me. That immediately made my heart leap. This brat! “ Yah!” I exclaimed while following him towards the kitchen. “ Jay!” I called but he didn't even turn his head to me and just casually walk. How dare him to scare me! Nakarating kami sa loob ng kitchen. I followed him until he stopped infront of the refrigerator and opened it. The coldness of the refrigerator assaulted our skin. “ Jay, don't do this to me!” I nervously said but still manage to make it loud and sounds brave. He took the glass beside me and poured some water to it. His smelt immediately invaded my nose. Amoy mamahalin. I was half-smiled when I scoffed with my thoughts and looked away. Ano bang iniisip mo Nicja?! “ Hmm?” he hummed while drinking the water. Hindi ko maiwasang hindi mapatingin sa kanya ng maagaw nya ang atensyon ko. While looking at him I freely saw and envious the features of his face. He has a great body and firm muscles that were perfectly located on the right place of his body. His eyes were mesmerizing yet lifeless and scary. But everytime he laughs it looks like a child eyes; pure and genuinely beautiful, especially when I was paired with his cupid bow lips. His nose is well-shaped, his skin is like a glass and he is so soft. When my eyes went down to his Adam's apple my hands unconsciously moved and my expression changed. Agad kong tinabig ang baso sa na nasa kamay nya. It was like I was saving myself from him. Like a basic survival instinct, just not to fully fell for that trap. The water fell on his shirt while the glass shattered on the floor. I gasped and covered my hanged open mouth. We remained shocked for a second but when we finally pulled ourself together, or it just me who pulled myself together because Jay remained emotionless. I found myself panicking to get some tissue and nervously wiped his shirt.

Chapitre 1

" Where have you been last night?"

It was like a de javu in my ears. Ganoon na ganoon ang tono ni Jay ng tanungin nya ako kagabi.

It made my heart suddenly leap inside my ribcage. Until now I could still remember his furious and annoyance. Especially his threatening words. And yes, for the first time in my life I felt so nervous around a guy.

Nakakainis!

Pinalobo ko ang pisngi ko dahil sa kaba bago nagtaas ng tingin kay Ate Syllica. Her right eyebrows was rose up while waiting for my answer. Lalo tuloy akong kinakabahan.

Isabay pa ang titig na lalaking kanina ko pa nahuhuli simula ng pasimple ko syang tingnan. Nakakailang.

I caught his eyes again when I tried to secretly look at him. Bahagya pang nakaharang sa paningin ko ang hoodie na nakabalot sa ulo ko. Gayon pa man ay hindi ko iyon naging hadlang para sa pagtatagpo ng mata namin.

Anong problema nya?

" Nicja Jay?!"

" I-i'm just with a friend." I explained and immedietly looked at her while panicking. Gosh, gusto ko ng matapos to. I was really embarrassed, right now. Ramdam ko ang pag-iinit ng pisngi ko dahil sa hiya at sa dami ng tao sa studio.

Kasalukuyan kaming nasa studio dahil sa concept photo nila para sa upcoming album and comeback nila. I didn't even know why I'm still here even though I don't have business here.

I heard Jay scoffed but when I turn my head to him. He face was stoic while the make up artist doing his make up.

Am I just hallucinating?

Wala sa sarili akong napa-ismid.

Whatever.

" Jay told me everything." There was the authority in her voice. I understood why she's acting like this. Kahapon ng maaga ay hinabilin nya ako sa alaga nya para puntahan so Sim, pero tumakas ako mula kay Jay. Nag-aalala lang sya dahil alam nyang hindi pa ako familiar sa buong lugar at prone ako sa disgrasya.

Ang hindi ko lang matanggap ay ang kasinungalingang alam kong sadyang dinugtong lang ni Jay para mapagalitan ako.

" You were with your boyfriend."

Nanlalaki ang mata ko nang sulyapan ko si Jay. This brat! Mamaya ka sa'kin ang gagong koreano na to...

Nang ibalik ko ang tingin ko kay ate Syllica ay seyoso itong naghihintay sa sagot ko.

" Aniyo..." I defended myself in Korean. " I don't have a boyfriend eonni!"

I heard a laughs from the group. Kasalukuyan silang inaayusan ng staff para sa photoshoot.

Jake's laughter dominated everyone. "Geunyeoneun jeongmal gwiyeobda." [She is really cute.] bumaling ito sa mga kasama na katulad nya ay tumatawa.

" Jedaelo bal-eumhaji anh-ado." Ni-ki said. [Even if she did not pronounce it properly.]

I didn't understand what they said so I just didn't mind. Sinamaan ko naman ng tingin si Jay na kasalukuyang nakangiti habang nakatingin sa akin. Those evil smile... hmp!

Anong nginingiti-ngiti nya?

I just rolled my eyes in annoyance looked at him from head to foot. This evil creature!

" Why did you fled?" she seriously asked. Now, both arms were crossed.

I sighed and stare at the mid-air. " I was bored. I hate being isolated and suffocated. Not again, Syllica." I whispered as my mood gone lower. I felt so suffocated all of the sudden. Hindi ako sanay na i-express ang sarili ko at mas lalong hindi ako sanay na nakakulong.

She sighed and when I looked up at him. I saw a pity in her eyes. The last thing I wanted to see from everyone. Am I that pitiful?

Damn! I looks so pathetic...

" Tell me when you were bored, pasasamahan kita kay Jay." She softly said like I was her own child. Then, she sat in front of me and stroke my loss hair to my ear.

Sa lapag sya nakaupo, habang ako ay nasa couch. For the first time in my life, I saw the two kind of emotions on her face. She's numb. Kaya nga lang ay ang emosyon na ayaw kong makita ang ipinakita nya.

" No way! I prefer to be alone that to be with that jerk on my happiest time." bigla kong reklamo nang marinig ko ang pangalan nya.

" Watch your mouth, young lady." suway ni Ate. She just gave me a warning look before she proceeded on working with the boys.

Naganap ang Photoshoot, but my eyes were fixated to Sunghoon the whole time. Park Sunghoon, my bias and handsomest member of the group. Also known as the ice prince.

He looks so beautiful and expensive on his new look. Thankfully, his hair remained black just like Sim's hair. Ayoko nang may kulay ang buhok nya.

He was fixing his crystal blue dog fur neck tie while the staff was fixing his make up for the next photoshoot. He looks like a royalty with his long sleeves chiffon blouse and ruffle neck.

When he looked at me I just looked away like I didn't do something awkward. Gosh, kinabahan ako doon.

Nangalumbaba ako at aksidenteng napatingin kay Jay sa kabilang banda. He was slowly moving on the water while brushing up his wet hair and his eyes...

They were on mine.

And slowly...

I suddenly recognized my heart beating so fast because of him. Kulay itim ang kanyang basang buhok, pati narin ang kanyang damit at ang kanyang mga mata...

His piercing eyes were glowing red because of the light effect for the photoshoot. Tunatama ito sa kabuuhan nya.

He was wearing a black long sleeves, chiffon blouse too but it's too thin for his body, kaya hindi maiwasang bumakat sa katawan nya ang damit. Pati ang mga props na pera na dumidikit sa katawan nya ay nakadagdag sa gulo ng isip ko.Why is he so damn good at this?

Money, red lights and Jay Park. Why is he so dam hot and perfect?

Napalunok ako bigla at napaiwas ng tingin na parang wala itong naging epekto sa sistema ko.

Damn! Bakit ba kasi kailangan pa ng water for props sa photoshoot na to?!

Sarap magpatupad ng batas sa bansa na to na bawal maging kaakit-akit. Haist!
