Snowboarding

Lucian and his parents sat down at the table to eat. There was a bird creature that had been beheaded and roasted at the center of the table while there was a pale pasta like dish next to it. On another plate was what looked like the heart of a large beast cooked in addition to many other delicacies.

Each family member filled their plates and began eating while Luthor began to speak to Lucian between bites. "I waited until we got home for this, but what was that power you used during the tournament?" He asked with interest in his eyes as he chewed.

Lucian thought carefully for a moment and decided to disclose slightly to his parents. "It is the combination of time and space energy I call it continuum. It basically lets me use and experience space and time in different ways." He said casually.

His parents had already know Lin of his appetite for space and time from his test as a youth but they hadn't expected him to be this monstrous at his age.

The area of effect ability he had used during the tournament had even managed to make them slightly disoriented as if they had become aware of the planet spinning.

Still it effected others less powerful even more causing many to lose their balance while sitting and slowly falling out of their seats disoriented.

"And the skill you used in the tournament?" Luthor added with a curious look on his face. "Where did you learn it and was what you showed your full strength?" He said after a brief pause as his face became more serious.

"I created the skill I call it Lucid stasis, I basically go into a dreamlike state and am able to use my senses better giving me a more fine control of space and time. And no, that was not my full strength I was afraid of she had any other trump cards I would have taken a fall. I will keep some of my secrets." Lucian spoke up front causing his father to nod in acknowledgement.

"I see." Luthor said while he thoughtfully gazed it Lucian.

"Good work son, I'm happy you had the discretion to withold your true strength, just the idea that you're hiding even more potential scares me." He added after a moment of thought

"We knew you would be a prodigy before you were even born, but I say without a doubt pin my mind that giving birth to you will be the greatest accomplishment of my entire life no matter the heights I achieve." Acelia added with a sincere and caring look in here eyes as she looked at Lucian.

"Aww calm down guys I'm sure there are people even more talented than me I still have to work hard to reach the peak just like them." Lucian said trying to get some of the attention off of him.

"Son you will surely meet many people either as talented or possibly even more talented on the journey you've chosen.. but if you really combined those 2 energies into a single fluid one that ability alone if trained high enough could definetly put an ugly face on some old timers." Luthor said with a serious face causing Lucian to look away in embarrassments.

Him and his parents chatted a bit while they finished their meals. After their meals luthor stood up and said he had a surprise for Lucian and Acelia.

They met luthor outside the front door seated on top of a giant black lion approximately 7m tall.

Luthor used his energy to lift the two on top of the lion as snow gently called from the sky causing the little forest out front their estate to look quite magestic.

Once they were on top of the lion Luthor clicked his tongue and the lion took off into the sky as it flew over to a mountain range west of their estate moving like a bolt of lightning..

When they arrived to the mountain Lucian found that there were also other people from the light family here since this entire planet fell within their territory where most family members came to raise their youths before they became strong enough to explore on their own.

Lucian's parents had also brought him here many times before through the years. Most people didn't ride swords because it just wasn't as efficient as flying but it was a good training exorcise for energy control and body control.

Eventually people had come up with an enjoyable and relaxing activity that was like flying on a sword but slightly safer. They had called it snowboarding where someone would ride a flat object down a hill with snow on it.
