Scary

"Lets set up a camp here, the reinforcements should be here sometime tomorrow, until then I think it's good you two get some scouting experience, I hear both of you are exceptionally talented at concealing yourselves." Jason said as a small flat square appeared in his hand with many engravings resembling a circuit board.

He placed the square object into the ground beneath his feet as the space around them began to distort and the oppressive aura from the forest as if they were being eyed like prey seemed to disappear instantly.

Hearing Jason's words Lucian and Althea were initially downcast due to the dangerous situation, but hearing Jason's compliment and feeling they had escaped the jaws of the beast with the formation places they felt relieved in that same moment.

"So you want us to go look at the situation of the forest? Didnt they already tell us, there's strong monsters getting stronger fast, what else is there to know?" Lucian asked thinking scouting was just like asking for danger.

"That's actually a good question, it's not normal for wild beast to grow this fast especially not large groups of them, usually when things like this happen there is the birth or appearance of some natural or divine treasure, and word spreads fast, so. Its likely that that the other guilds and sects will be vying for information or seeking to find something soon." Jason said helping Lucian understand understand slightly.

"Ahh so you want us to go see, if there are any treasures? I guess you have a good way of making things seem reasonable, alright I'll go scout." Lucian said causing Althea to facepalm at this guys antics.

"Stay out of my way I will be heading east." Althea said as she vanished on the spot her entire aura disappearing. Jason took a few sniffs of the air noticing she had even masked her scent in dark energy causing it to smell like morning dew which wasn't alarming to beast at all.

"Women eh?" Lucian said as he looked at the spot Althea vanished from with a starstruck look causing Jason to look at him as if he were an idiot.

"Get out of here brat." Jason said pushing Lucian causing him to stumble before catching himself as Jason turned and walked away.

Seeing this Lucian smiled as he disappeared from where he was standing reappearing on a branch above as the energy around his body began to visibly fluctuate until his body became completly translucent with only a visible blur wherever he moved.

'Althea could reflect and refract the natural light while also coating herself in darkness energy causing her physical appearance to completly disappear coupled with her natural talents in soul manipulation allowed her to disappear completly from one's sight and other senses.'

'Whereas Lucian had to bend space around himself allowing him to exist within his own pocket dimension. Both abilities had their ups and downs but each one of the youths cloaked themselves masterfully, I should probably keep an eye on Lucian his energy consumption is off the charts.' Jason thought to himself.

In the next moment a shadowy figure of a wolf appeared in front of Jason for a second before it faded in the shadows following in the direction Lucian went.

Jason pulled out his guild badge, "Yea, you don't have to send reinforcements, but if it was any of the other guild hall staff you would." Jason said as he connected to the guild master.

"Hahaha is that right, what do you think of the two?" Xander asked as he had wanted the take of someone who wasn't connected to the two and had observed them.

"The girl is extremely talented and understands well, he control over her concealment is honestly scary… and the boy, the things he is able to do with his abilities is equally as scary, but his control over them is lacking compared to the girl." Jason replied causing Xander to laugh heartily.

"For you to say their scary is the highest of complements they can recieve at their stage, knock em down a couple pegs so they work harder in the future." Xander said through hearty laughs as he disconnected the communication.

Hearing this Jason couldn't help but sigh while shaking his head internally. "Most organizations and the likes pamper the young talents, I don't think anyone is scarier than the guild master." He said to himself as he began pulling out a cloth like object and different metal rods seemingly making a tent.
