55 The Gang's All Here

"Ohhh, it's about time!" Silas rejoiced as he turned his back on the weakened Kai. "Don't you see me working my ass off over here?"

The Vipers stopped in their tracks as they surveyed the situation. There were 4 of them in total Zero counted - one less than last time since Nemus was taken out, Zero assumed anyways.

"Wait a minute, isn't that Kai behind you? What's going on here?" One asked.

"Idiot isn't it obvious? Kai was a traitor after all. Guess Gwyn was right after all." Another responded.

The first one who spoke turned his head from side to side as if looking for something. "Speaking of, has anyone seen her? We figured she was still watching that Zero guy, but we can see he's right there."

Silas sighed. "Yeah I don't think she's gonna be around anymore. Pretty sure he iced her." He pointed a thumb behind him over at Zero.

Zero stiffened at the sound of his name. This isn't good...he thought.
