Sleepover

Sloane moved out. She's been gone a week. She was staying with Fran. The first night was a little bit awkward. Sloane slept in Fran's guest room because she wasn't ready for anything bigger yet. Surprisingly, Fran didn't have any strict family. She lived with her older sister and it's an easy guess that her parents are out of the picture. Every morning, Sloane would brush her teeth, shower, eat an energy bar and head on her way to school. Fran and Sloane would always walk together. They hadn't got in any physical or sexual contact since their kiss. Sloane hasn't been talking to her mom. After about 6 months living with Fran, Sloane found a note in her locker: "hey. its fran . meet me at the cherry blossom tree again . if you want to know what's going to happen, im going to try to kiss you again." After school, they met up. They had some awkward small talk. After about 5 minutes of Sloane stalling, Fran interrupted her and kissed her. There was that feeling again. Soft and magical. All of Sloane's stress went away. She couldn't think of anything else but about how much she cared for Fran. Later, they both walked back to Fran's house together. For the rest of the year, Fran and Sloane met up at the same tree every Friday, every week for the whole year. Throughout the months she was away, Sloane's mom sent her a text every couple weeks saying that she didn't want her home. She said she loved her in the text. She didn't seem genuine.
