51 51. Plants.

Arriving at a rather simple but nice looking mansion I greet the guards. "Hello, I'm Ryan Grim, Captain of the Hel familia, I was wondering if your goddess was at home as I have some business to discuss with her?" I request politely.

The gaurds look warily at the knights. "One moment sir I will go inform her of your visit."

A minute later he returns. "She is waiting for you inside if you could follow me please."

I nod before opening a portal and sending the knights inside besides one who is apparently my designated bodyguard.

Making our way inside there is a rather beautiful goddess with golden blonde hair and a peaceful aura around her waiting with a smile. "Hello, you must be the goddess Demeter. Pleasure to meet you." I hold out my hand.

She gives it a small shake.

"I must say I was rather surprised when my gaurd told me that you had arrived outside with a small group of armored soldiers." Shw admits eying the knight behind me.

"Sorry about that, they take my protection rather seriously and I had just had a bit of a misunderstanding with the Loki familia." I tell her honestly. "I come with no ill intentions and did not mean to cause worry."

She nods sensing no lies. "Please sit." She says with a comforting smile.

I sit on the couch across from her while the knight stands behind me.

"So what can I do to help you Captain Grim?" Demeter asks politely.

"I have a large plot of incredibly fertile land, however there is nothing growing on it at all not even grass, I know very little about agriculture and was wondering if you would be willing to assist with its growth. I am willing to pay for seeds and time and even workers." I explain the reason I am here.

"I would need to see the land before making any decisions." Demeter says.

Nodding for a second I shrug before opening a portal. Demeter looks rather confused.

"My land is in a pocket of space that only I can give access to. Kind of like the Inventory spatial ability of some adventurers except mine contains land." I explain.

Her eyes widen slightly. "That is an incredible ability."

"Thank you, If you would like to take a look I can promise no harm to befall you and that I will deliver you right back her when you request. You can bring a familia member with you if you want." I tell the goddess of harvest who nods. She does indeed call a familia member and we all step inside. The only new change would be a large city sized building with what appears to be a halo over the top that looks glorious. I had installed Balamb Gardens last night and Alexander was in his fortress mode behind it.

Demeter looks around and feels the dirt. "This place is wonderful!" she says with a bright smile. The the air was crisp and clean, the ground was fertile, more fertile than anything she had felt before, the magic energy in the air was rich. If an elf stepped into a plac like this they would think they are in heaven due to the magical energy flowing in abundance.

"You wish to fill this land with crops?" Demeter asks.

"Maybe some of it, I'm not really a farmer. I was hoping for things like fruit trees, some actual grass so it doesn't just look like dirt, maybe flowers, herbs, just pretty up the place and provide food for any I would bring inside. I also intend to house some animals here." I explain as she nods.

"Such fertile lands are a shame to remain barren!" She says excitedly. "My familia will happily take this job!" Her divinity for good harvest practically screamed in delight at the though of growing plants on such a land.

"I look forward to working with you." I tell her. "I may also have some smaller projects to work on as well if you are interested."

There was a place for plants and animals inside of the Balamb Gardens, however currently it was also barren. Seems I did not get living things when I got templates. The summons are a bit different as they manifest with my power, technically I give them life.

"Of course!" Demeter says with a smile, not only would this satisfy her divinity but she would get money for her children. She does wish to help her children out in her own way. However her familia isn't and big, rich or as powerful as someone like Loki or Freya or even Hephaestus.

Stepping back into her mansion we establish a simple contract of work. Not a magical one, just a normal one. I give her an advanced payment of 1,000,000 valis so she can buy plenty of seeds and plants. I'm currently not using the funds right now anyway, plus I have like 500,000 left.

Of course I would have to be present as only i can open up a portal. But I don't really have much I need to do now anyway. This is something important to do, just in case things become unreasonable in the Orario I can just leave and come here. Teleport directly in the dungeon, making sure my familia and goddess are safe should be top priority. My mouth seems to run off at even the slightest bit of annoyance it seems and I feel like it's going to get me in trouble at some point.

I'll check and see with Hel if she would like to move into the gardens with me, I'm sure Lili would go but it's best to double check. There are plenty of rooms, and places to stay, I also have quite a few areas where I could store things like food. It's pretty much just an entire town that was built to house and raise soldiers so im sure it could house 3 people and 13 knights along with our summons easily. This way I don't have to worry about Hostile familia coming for my head and them getting caught in the crossfire.
