24 24. Rewards.

I quickly gather up my loot and teleported back to the house with my massive migraine.

My body was currently going through a couple of changes and I didn't want to be vulnerable while in the dungeon.

"Hel I'm back." I call out dumping off my bags in the floor and sitting in the chair by my desk.

I hear the pitter patter of feet and my door opens. Hel frowns when she enters to room.

"You are back early and something is wrong. Are you okay?" She asks with worry.

"Ah I'm fine, just got a reward for getting stronger." I tell the goddess. "Apparently one of my stats seems to have hit D rank already, my votes on Mana, and I got a reward of a couple of legacies."

"Legacies?" Hel asks.

"Think of it like me inheriting their powers, abilities, memories, skills and items." I explain.

Pulling out a golden marble from my spatial ring it floats into my chest to join the other two dragoon souls. The gold dragoon from Kongol. His other items weren't really good most of it was like barbarian style clothing, the large stone axe which was huge and then the golden dragoon spirit. He didn't really have much going for him in terms of skill and really only relied on brute strength. He was a giganto so he had some pretty extreme physical strength.

Cid wasn't too much better, he may use a spear but he was more mechanic than he was a warrior. The thing I did get from him however was the Highwind, a massive airship. But not just one, 2 highwinds. One looked like a wooden boat with propellers around it for flight, the other was a more futuristic looking one but not too futuristic, more like a boat combined with a blimp, it also had various propellers. However both were currently pretty useless to me as they required crews to run properly. Even then where the fuck am I supposed to go? The dungeon is here and about the only place I would visit would be the dwarven city which wasnt even that far away, you could see it in the distance from the city walls apparently.

Shaking my head I move onto my third reward. Squall. Gun blades were basically just swords combined with guns, you could cut someone and then blast a revolver shell into them at the same time for extra damage.

However what really got my interest was the various small spheres containing little creatures. Guardian Forces. Basically summons which I have some of with my materia but havent really used as I need my materia slots for well, magic. That and another airship which was called the Ragnarok.

"Ah this throws a couple of wrenches into my plans." I need to check my status plate for skill updates and this would update my status at the same time screwing with some of my plans. "Hel we are going to have to update my status plate, remember not to level me up please."

"Of course!" Hel says with a smile.

We head to the living room where I take off my shirt and Hel sits behind me to update my status. Dripping some blood onto my back I feel a burst of energy in my body as the excellia is unlocked and dispersed.

Hel grabs a piece of paper from the side and records my status and skills before handing it over.

(If you wish to see the new status plate in full please see Aux notes.)

"So besides basic stat upgrades, I got 2 new skills. Guardian Force Summoning and Giganto strength, along with a new summoning slot." I mumble. "But I was right about magic being the cause of my level rising so fast. That stat is absurd already being at D-rank."

"I'm so excited, my first familia member could level up after a few days, I'm sure that Loki would be crazy jealous." Hel says happily.

I just chuckle as she locks my status plate back up.

"A summon hmm?" I think about it for a second. A partner to fight with would be incredibly useful. It would also attract quite a bit of attention depending on which one inused or if I used one in general.

I search through my ring seeing what I have. i find one that could be incredibly useful and grin before pulling out a red stone. I push it into my other arm and it clicks into place.

"Want to see our new summon Hel?" I ask the woman with a smile.

"Yes please!" She asks eagerly.

"Alright we have to go outside." I tell her putting my shirt back on and grabbing her hand to help her up from the couch.

We head out to the back yard which is pretty open.

"Chocobo!" I shout. I feel a bit of a drain on my mana and a flash of light before a massive fucking yellow bird appears and blinks at me with it large round eyes.

"Wark!" It squawks happily.

It was about 9 feet tall and had some rather intimidating looking claws, it could easily carry 2 or 3 people no problem.

"I'll call you Boko!" I grin at the bird and pat its fluffy chest.

It warbles happily at the affection.

It doesn't seem to have any problem with Hel either and let's her pet him.

"It's magnificent!" Hel says with bright eyes.

Boko preens under the compliment and fluffs his wings.

"I figure he could join me in the dungeon. maybe order a cart for him to pull so we can get some of the bigger loot items. Also order a saddle for him, I'll have to see what the restriction are on summoned beasts or tamed creatures. Get him registered as I don't want him being attacked in the city by fucking idiots." I tell Hel.

"We can ride him?!" She asks with sparkly eyes.

Boko warks and nods his head happily.

"Sure but we would need a saddle wouldn't want to fall off or pull his feathers." I grin.

"Can he fly?" Hel asks.

"I believe they can glide, they are mostly used for running like horses but much much faster and stronger." I explain.
