1 1. Unlucky.

"Congratulations you've been summoned to be reincarnated!" A voice says snapping Ryan out of a daze.

"What? Did I die?" He asks strangely.

"Yeah, we killed you duh!" The voice says.

Ryan's brain stalls for a moment. "What do you mean you killed me?"

"Well how you can be reincarnated if you were still alive?" The voice asks like he was stupid. "Anyway! You get 3, count them, 3 template cards!" 3 golden cards float in front of Ryan who was pretty sure he must be hallucinating.

"I don't remember taking any drugs, was it the chicken parmesan? It was probably the chicken parmesan." He mumbles.

"Well let's get on with the first random drawing hopefully it's a good one!" The voice says.

"Wait random? Don't I get to pick?" Ryan asks with a frown.

"No!" The voice answers happily.

The card starts to blur through silhouettes before slowing down and coming to a halt.

A familiar blonde haired figure with a massive sword appears on the card.

"Cloud Strife! Not bad for a first summon!" The voice says. "You will get all the equipment, skills and abilities of the person on the card."

A small blue ring appears and the card bursts into motes of light before hitting Ryan almost overloading his brain with information. Shame he can't die a second time or he just might have!

"Alright onto the next card." The voice said as Ryan squinted through the headache to watch.

The silhouette stopped on another familiar character.

This one had red plate armor on.

"Dart Feld, from Legend of the Dragoon." Another light flashed as some items went into the blue ring before golden light flowed into Ryan making his head throb even more.

"Hey, can you do something about this massive fucking headache?" Ryan asks.

"No!" The voice says happily.

The third card silhouette starts to rotate before stopping on another character Ryan knew.

"Vincent Valentine, the Horror-Terror." It was a picture of a black haired man with red eyes and a gun in his hand. "This selection of templates has been brought to you by the god of playstation."

"The fucking what now?!" Ryan asks before his head nearly explodes in pain from the combination of the 3 template cards.

"And now for the world you'll be sent to." The voice says as a large colorful wheel appears.

"I don't even get to pick my own world dammit!" Ryan groans.

The wheel starts to spin and click before landing on. Danmachi.

"Have fun!" the voice says before Ryan vanishes.

Next thing he realised he was being dumped into some trash can in an alley.

"Dude what the actual fuck!" Ryan groans picking himself up off the ground.

His head is still throbbing from pain and he looks down at his hand to realize his body looks different. Smaller, and more pale than normal. There is also a blue ring on his finger.

Seeing there is a fountain in the distance Ryan stumbles forward and looks into the water to see maybe a 16 year old face staring back at him. Short sandy blonde hair, almost glowing blue eyes, pale white skin. He sits down at the edge of the fountain and waits for the pain in his head and body to subside after a couple of minutes.

Letting out a sigh of relief he looks around the area spotting various different people in strange clothes and armor. In the distance is a massive tower shooting into the heavens.

"Could have been worse I suppose." Ryan says with a sigh before turning his attention to the ring and finding various items inside.

He would be stupid to take anything out here in the open. Sadly there doesnt appear to be any kind of money or anything like that inside of his ring so he can't get a room or anything and god knows what kind of thieves live in this place so taking things out in an alley would be rather stupid.

No food, no money, no place to stay, man this is a rough start.

Sighing he stood up and stretched before heading towards the tower where the dungeon was held. Asking around a bit he found the direction of the guild.

Heading inside he found an open counter and walked up to talk with the guild worker.

"Hello, is there some kind of requirement to enter the dungeon?" Ryan asks. He needs money for a place to stay and food and the easiest thing he could do is hesd to the dungeon. Well he could sell some of his gear but that would make him an idiot.

"No there isn't a requirement to enter the dungeon, however you will have to join the guild if you wish to take on missions or sell items for higher prices." The woman says not looking up from her papers.

"And how much does that cost?" Ryan asks.

"1000 valis." She says.

"How many monsters would I have to kill to make that much?" Ryan asks.

"Around 10 goblin cores from the 1st or 2nd floor would cover it." She says before pausing and finally looking up.

The person she had been talking to was gone.

Shrugging she went back to her paperwork, it wasn't her problem if some noobie wanted to head into the dungeon and die.

Meanwhile Ryan was heading towards the entrance to the dungeon with a frown on his face.

He didn't have any bags or anything to carry his drops and it seems the ring would only work with items already stored inside of it. He had tried to put in a rock to see how it worked but failed, however he could take an item out and put it back in.

Looking at the large dungeon entrance he shrugged before making his way inside.

He looked around for a dark corner to hide in while he changed some of his clothes and grabbed a weapon. Going into a dungeon infested with monsters and having no equipment was silly.
