53 Chapter 52: Shinra's Countdown

Ifalna was patting Vincent on the back who was currently having a major mental boom. The news of Lucrecia willfully experimenting on Ramiel and Alexandra was too much for him to handle. He didn't think that was possible, especially because she wanted to get out of Nibelheim with the children.

"Ifalna, I think you should take care of him for now. He's definitely gonna have to process this a lot." Ramiel pitied him and would've never thought that Vincent was his old man. "Un, leave him to me." Ifalna nodded at him.

"Aerith, how about we go fetch Cloud and Tifa at Nibelheim?" Ramiel patted her head and the high strung Aerith was overjoyed. "For real? Let's go then!" She was excited to see friends again. He smiled and thought of Genesis and Angeal that will be their older brothers as well. How could they refuse the cute little Aerith?

Ramiel gave one more look at Vincent and smacked his back. "Don't worry about it too much man, agonizing about the past is just gonna make you useless." He smiled at him and left with Aerith.

After they were gone, Vincent sobered up and slapped his face surprising Ifalna and Elmyra. "H-he's right… I finally have something to look forward too. How pathetic of me, my own son is more mature than me."

Ifalna and Elmyra had wry smiles on their faces, Ramiel and Alexandra weren't quite normal kids anyways. The two have been plotting Shinra's downfall since they were toddlers. "I don't think you should compare yourself to the twins Vincent…" Ifalna chuckled.

Vincent gave a rare smile, understanding what they want to say. "Then let's prepare. Come with me to Avalanche, it's dangerous here anyways." Vincent stood up and would help the twins with whatever he could.

And taking down Shinra will be in the number one of their list right now. Hojo would definitely be missing, so they will focus on what's attainable for now.

Ramiel flew in the skies with Aerith who was enjoying the ride like a daredevil. "Ramiel-nii! You didn't tell me you could fly? Nibelheim is so far, but we will reach it quickly with you as a ride!" Aerith giggled and looked around the landscape.

"Umu, I am awesome right? Praise me more." He had a smug smile on his face and they travelled leisurely. But if he doesn't go faster, they will take hours. "I'm gonna speed up Aerith, you better hold on tight." Ramiel casted barriers on her because he will be pulling some serious g's.

Jets of Mako then propelled them forward, they flew like a comet and Aerith screamed in delight. He smiled and went even faster, seeing that she wasn't getting scared. Most likely due to being a superhuman by now.

They arrived at Nibelheim right in front of Alex's training group. "Yo, you guys are training really well." Ramiel chuckled at the teens and kids that were struggling to do calisthenics. They were under a gravity spell and Alexandra was ruthless in her drills.

"Hah. Hah, Ramiel-nii! Can we get a break!?" Tifa who was more disciplined than Cloud even broke down and wanted to have a small break. "Don't ask me, ask her." Ramiel pointed at Alex and Tifa despaired, doing an orz.

"Master! Please bring us back to your tutelage!" Genesis kneeled and was sweating bullets. "Hah, do you know that I haven't trained you yet for real? Aerith here is going to start Alexandra's training regimen when she was her age." Ramiel patted her head and whispered.

"Sorry little one, greatness comes at a price." Aerith just tilted her head and Alexandra prayed for her soul. "Go on, take a break. Aerith hasn't seen Tifa and Cloud for a long time." Ramiel threw them some drinks and called Lazard.

"Did you find the targets?" Lazard was anxious as Hojo getting their hands on Ancients will give them an even more bad time. "I did, it seems my father saved them in the sewers when they got cornered by Hojo's mooks." Ramiel sighed and will probably not get used to knowing who their real father was.

"Your father? I thought Hojo was your father?" Lazard was confused and Ramiel chuckled. "You really think that guy can create such fabulous babies like us? It's some guy called Vincent Valentine. And the resemblance is uncanny, I guess Alexandra also got her love of belts from him. The guy looks like a middle school student that found his hidden powers."

Lazard went wide eyed from shock, but he laughed after he internalized his words. "Too edgy for your taste? He's your dad though, you got to live with that."

"Shaddup, are the preparations ready at least? We need to control Shinra so we can have more manpower to hunt down Hojo." Ramiel squinted his eyes.

"All green, want me to expose Shinra now? To be honest with you, I've been waiting for this day as well." Lazard was getting impatient and Ramiel smirked. "We'll be taking your daddy down though, can't live with him anymore?"

Lazard was stunned and nodded at his little cheeky retort. "Touche, and yes. I want to take the company down now. Give the people in the slums the life that they deserve."

"Then go on and press the attack, we will be arriving there with Bismarck. You'll see it when you look up at the sky." Ramiel ended the call and stood still, his body being washed over by warm wind.

"Y-you found our father?" Alexandra was shaken. "Yeah, I did. He was the one who protected Aerith and Ifalna in Midgar. It was quite the stroke of luck. He kinda looks like us too, especially you. You two have uhhh, the same fashion sense."

Alexandra pouted at him and wasn't sure what to do with the discovery. "You want to see him? He was apparently in stasis for a decade." Ramiel tried to put him in a good light, the guy went through a lot already after all.

"Hmmm, I guess we can meet him when we go to Midgar." Alexandra left and Ramiel massaged his temples. "This is gonna get messy, I can't imagine what she'll do when she meets Vincent."
