Ch 68 – Toads, Luxans, and Otsutsukis All in One

"Guma-sama!" a gigantic toad shouts in the middle of a raging battlefield within a landscape filled with emerald grass, large trees ranging from 20 – 100 meters in height, and large hills of gray rocks. On that battlefield, three main groups could be seen.

A group of large toads that ranges from 10 – 20 meters in height, numbering in the hundreds. Beside them, a large horde of red, humanoid species could be seen, each having black hair and wielding large, stone clubs many times their weight, but their bodies were rippled with muscles showing exaggerated strength. And the last group was ten humanoid aliens flying opposite to them, their bodies pale-white like snow, their eyes featureless though some had strangely designed eyes, their hair in varying lengths and colored pale blue.

"I can hold on," Guma said, a 20-meter toad colored a shade of red and having strange bumps all around its body, covered in brown clothes and a patch of white hair on top of his head.

"Everyone! We can do this! We just need to hold on and we could blast those damn Otsutsukis out of this planet!" Guma shouts as the humanoid beings beside them roar, performing a series of hand seals and multiple elemental attacks shoot out of their mouths or appear in the air in front of them.

The planet they were currently on is called Luxan, a planet similar to Earth and allows for life to exist. The main inhabitants are called Luxans, red humanoid species with strong bodies that could hurl boulders with one arm, their defense could endure through a sword's slice, and their speed would be like a blur to the human eye.

50 years ago, the Luxans are suddenly greeted by these gigantic toads that appeared out of nowhere and were taught many things. From their previously primitive life, they are now a race that inhabits a large plot of land and numbers in the hundreds of thousands, they were also taught how to wield chakra as they were revealed to naturally have chakra pathways within their body.

With the help of chakra, the Luxans hastily develop as a whole and the truth was finally revealed today, they were being helped by the Toads to help defeat the Otsutsukis who plan to harvest their lives to grow a God Tree.

So they were forced to fight whether they like it or not, their measly 10,000 Luxan army now fighting the 3 Otsutsukis in front of them.

"CHARGE!" a robust man shouts, his muscles bulging outwards while his black eyes turned into toad-like eyes similar to the gigantic toads beside them, the breath of life and vigor exploding outward from his body.

Rushing forward alongside Guma, he weaved through multiple hand seals within a split second and his chakra activates.

As his chakra funnels outward at a rapid pace, fire started to gather at his feet and his speed increased that it transformed him into a fiery blur, leaving a trail of fire below him as Guma beside him also went through a series of hand seals.

"Sage Art Wind Release: Wind's Assistance!" Funneling his chakra towards Luda, the Luxan who rushed towards the Otsutsuku, the air around him transformed into an open path and pushed him forwards, strengthening the path of flames behind him and increasing his speed further.

"TAKE THIS! Sage Art Fire and Wind Release: Fiery Wind Tornado!" Jumping to the sky, the gale of wind around him spun at the soles of his feet covered in flames, igniting the air into an inferno of orange flames and he appeared straight at the red-eyed Otsutsuki in front of him, his feet rushing forward at breakneck speeds.

But in return, the Otsutsuki's right arm transformed into metallic black and stretched it outwards, his eyes spinning in rapid succession and Luda's eyes widen in shock when his outstretched right leg was grabbed with a single arm.

"Die."

With a snapping sound, Luda's right leg was broken and snapped into two while a shrill scream left his mouth, but he didn't give up.

"Sage Art Fire and Wind Release: Drill of Fire and Wind!" As his right leg got enveloped in sharp blades of wind and ignited in fire, it spun forwards at drastic speeds and he watches that the tip of his drill was piercing through the black coating of the Otsutsuki in front of him.

"Barrier!"

"Sage Art: Great Flood!"

"Sage Art: Blazing Inferno!"

Hearing the three shouts around him, Luda's body disappeared with a flicker as he watches the three Otsutsukis get enveloped by a blue pentagon barrier formed by five Luxans and two toads, one was Guma who fired the Blazing Inferno transforming the whole inside of the barrier into a boiling room that will burn the Otsutsukis alive.

But without any warning, they watched the barrier shatter into shards of blue light and an outward force made them rebound back hundreds of meters away, Luda's body slamming into a rock tower and coughing out blood.

"Shit! They actually have a Tier 3 Otsutsuki, and it seems like they have a Rinnegan!" the toad who landed on two legs shouts beside him, a trail of blood leaking down his mouth as he watches a white blur suddenly appear beside him and rushes past him, hastily turning his head, his heart sunk when he saw a gigantic humanoid being the size of titans appear in the middle of his army, tens and even hundreds died with a single attack from those constructs.

"NO!" Luda shouts, his body instinctually rushing forward but the toad beside him grabs him by the shoulder, stopping him from foolishly rushing forward.

"We need to run! With their Rinnegan and their unknown Mangekyo abilities, we would be outmatched in raw power, but reinforcements are on the way, many of my brethren are currently on their way here and will inhabit a new body soon!" the toad shouts as Luda nods his head, beside him, multiple clouds of smoke then appeared as he sent his clones to save as many Luxan life as he can, and with that, both flicker away and found themselves hiding in a cave prop on a mountain kilometers away from the battlefield with Guma already inside there, the gray inside giving a sense of dread but the hundreds of Luxans inside eased Luda's heart.

"Tsk, I didn't expect them to actually send a Tier 3 so early!" Guma clicks his tongue, their hearts palpitating and watching the battlefield with intense eyes, hundreds of his Luxan brethren getting slaughtered like insects caused his heart to become cold, his fist clenching that red blood dripped from his closed palms.

As they quietly watched without moving a single muscle, more and more Luxan who managed to be saved appeared inside their cave with a puff of smoke, but only less than a thousand were saved as the Otsutsukis in the distance floated in midair while an ocean of blood formed below them.

"Shit, they are about to plant the God Tree!" Guma shouts in fear as he watches the female Otsutsuki who has the Rinnegan take a brown seed out of nowhere.

As his muscles tensed up, he prepared to shoot forward no matter the cause, as he can't let the Otsutsuki get another Tier 4 in their army.

"Oho?" A voice suddenly said that echoed tens of kilometers that even reached their ears, looking upwards, they all suddenly saw something that brought fear to their hearts.

Above them, a shadow slowly formed and a large construct seemingly made of metal floated above them, ranging hundreds of kilometers like a floating piece of land as yellow lights dotted around the floating chunk of metal above them, its mere size alone made them feel like as if they were looking at something alien.

"What… is that?" Guma muttered in shock as a beam of white light shoots into the ocean of blood below the Otsutsukis, and what they saw was a humanoid being, wearing a black skin-tight suit that covered their petite body, their eyes colored golden while their hair was dark and fluffy, a pair of ears were also propped over his head similar to those of cats as his milky white skin glowed a tinge of blue due to the blue lines lining along with his skin-tight suit.

"So these are the mythical Otsutsukis that attacked Demilaxia more than a century ago! I didn't expect that on our third solar system we'll not just find sentient life, but also Otsutsukis!" the boy shouts, his gaze uncaring and nonchalant as a toothy grin formed on his face.

"You dare provoke us?" a male Otsutsuki growls, his eyes pale blue while a white flower resides in the middle, a dangerous aura erupting from his body.

"Shush, that is clearly a race we haven't seen or heard of before, we don't even know what that chunk of metal in the sky is. We either need to establish a good or neutral relationship with them, who knows, they might even be a space-faring race like us," the Rinnegan Otsutsuki muttered, her eyes darting forwards towards the boy and as her vision changed for a split second, she suddenly clutched her mouth and felt bile quickly rising up.

"W-what did you do!" the red-eyed Otsutsuki shouts, his eyes rapidly spinning around while black metallic constructs formed around him.

"Oh, you actually looked at my chakra reserves! How hilarious! I didn't expect that we used to fear beings like you! How times truly have changed," the boy mutters, his eyes radiating a golden glow and with a snap, they finally sensed the massive chakra reservoir that made their stomach drop, an aura of light blue erupting from his body and encapsulating an area of hundreds of meters around him.

"Einhard! You showing off… Oh, Otsutsukis?" a voice appeared from the chunk of metal above them, and as another flash of white light appeared, they saw a young girl with verdant green hair appear wearing the same suit as the boy, now revealed to be named Einhard.

"Yeah, I didn't expect them to be this weak. The one with the purple eyes even almost puked when she directly saw my chakra reserves!" Einhard said, clutching his stomach as he lets out a loud laugh.

"Sigh, sorry about my partner Einhard here!" Ivy said, her body suddenly appearing inside the cave in front of Guma and Luda, making their heart skip a beat.

"W-who are you!" Luda shouts, standing up with a grunt as his right leg slowly healed.

"Here's the quick run down for you… Luxans? Huh, besides that name. We are here to take over your planet whether you like it or not. We are an interstellar race that has three stars under our control and over 30 planets. We are Gods compared to you… and you? What race are you? Strange, I can sense that your soul is like… fragmented, a shard? Oh, well hello there fellow interstellar race, so you guys travel through planets by sending your soul shards using strange means and getting new hosts, that's pretty rad," Ivy said, inspecting Guma's body without his consent and the toads looking at her in shock, not understanding any of the words she said except for the last bit.

"Well, welcome to the Demilaxian Empire, Luxans!" Ivy said, her body disappearing as they saw a magnificent scene that left their mouths agape.

"Take this Otsutsukis! Solar Smash!" Einhard shouts, starlight gathering at his right fist that illuminated the surrounding area in bright white light.

And with a single punch forward, the strength of the Demliaxian Empire was fully shown to the Luxans who are currently in the age of iron. A fist the size of mountains appeared colored a dazzling white seemingly made of starlight, appearing directly in front of the Otsutsukis and the land behind them was decimated, creating a large fist-shaped hole that ranged for thousands of kilometers to appear, but the Otsutsukis magically remained alive, their bodies dropping down to the ground through unknown means.

"Teehee, I'm just kidding. I won't kill you guys, we still need to experiment with your bodies and all that!" Einhard shouts, walking up to the three Otsutsukis and disappearing with a flash of white light, leaving the spectators confused with the series of events and the Luxans bewildered with their future.

But just picture this, a race full of literal god-like beings who are harbingers of destruction and creators of life and planets all look like kids, that's fucking hilarious.

Future author here, WHAT THE FUCK?! HAS THE GODS BLESSED MOI THIS SUMMER?! Do you know what I just found?! Isekai Ojisan has a fucking anime!!! Holy crap! Who would have thought that one of my favorite manga has a fucking anime adaptation, and the quality is great! Gosh, the manga is a solid 9.5 for me and the anime is just crisp!
