24 Ch 24 – Rebirth of an Old Beast (Extra Chapter)

High above the blue sea and under the cloudy sky, a figure could be seen moving around with wobbly movements in the air, showing how unaccustomed and new they were to the concept of flying.

'Gravity is much more convenient to use to fly myself around, but the force is just so sensitive, not only do I have to fight against the gravity of earth, but I have to worry about accidentally using too much force and flying high into the sky or any other direction.' Braun thought, glancing around the open sea while his body felt really weirded out with the gravitational force around him being unusual to the norm of being directed downwards.

'But progress is progress, in a few minutes, I'm already getting accustomed to flying, though the nuclear forces have still been very mind-numbing with the amount of data I will have to process, though my offensive prowess has risen through the roof as I can just tap any object's weak force or their strong force and just kill them with a single thought.' Braun thought, slight sparks appearing in his arms from the minute explosions happening at the atomic level.

As he floats around, he hovers just below the sea and puts his feet on the water, a barrier of electromagnetic waves forms around the soles of his shoes so that repels the water from them, and as he uses it in conjunction with his gravity manipulation to make himself a lot lighter, he was able to walk on water as if he was walking on land, just that he can jump a lot higher due to his gravity being lesser than the one around him.

Closing his eyes, he taps into the nuclear force around him and watches the water around his feet simply… disintegrate, the nuclear bonds holding the literal quarks, atoms together being taken out of them, bringing instant destruction.

A simple and easy application over his power, but a strong one that could potentially destroy an entire universe on a whim, but right now, he was having difficulty to even disintegrate a small sphere of water let alone a human or a planet.

Letting out a gasp from his mouth, he grabs his rapidly beating heart that went overdrive to provide enough oxygen to his brain, taking in big deep breaths of air, he calms his heart down and looks around him with intrigued eyes.

'The peaceful open sea, where only I and no other is currently in, the sea truly is beautiful, I haven't been to one back in my first life and here I am, going to the moon and traveling the Earth.' Braun thought, stretching his body around while he walks around the rough sea with the surface constantly moving around, a great way of training his control over electromagnetism.

Walking around with a serene smile, he enjoys the view to appreciate the simpler things in life, finally receiving the fruits of his labor which took him many days of exhaustion, controlling a multitude of drones to travel all around the world and bring back very rare materials, but now, with his nuclear manipulation, he can simply make them.

With a tug in the nuclear forces around the palm of his hand, a small spherical ball of pure titanium appears in his hand, dangling it at the tips of his fingers, he manipulates the electromagnetic fields around it so that it doesn't fall off, a really cool magic trick he could use to fool children in parties.

'Oh, how sad my previous life was, not even a single birthday party for me to enjoy. But here I am, manipulating the fundamental forces of reality and still not taking a single birthday party, I should slow down a bit for a while to reset my mind, maybe in another alternate universe, but for now, I'm still in the unknown and have to take each step carefully, slowly gathering knowledge of this world and finally getting out of this planet and onto a new one, hopefully, one where they have more in-depth knowledge of quirks.' Braun thought, flicking his hand forwards, he tosses the ball into the air and controls the electromagnetic fields at the tip of his index finger.

"Bang," Braun mutters, the ball falling directly in front of his right index finger and an explosion suddenly occurs, the ball shooting forwards while a trail of blue plasma was left behind the ball's trail, a sonic boom being left behind the moment he released the railgun.

Watching the ball disappear into the distance, he chuckles at how absurd using multiple fundamental forces together was, he can create bullets for his electromagnetism to use, or he can induce explosions with weak force and shield himself using electromagnetism and so much more.

But soon, his peaceful training was interrupted when a floating translucent blue screen suddenly appears right in front of him, a live feed showing him two certain figures he has been taking a close watch on for the previous weeks.

As he watches All Might holding a strand of his hair in front of the topless Izuku, the live feed went to connect to his ears to send him the audio.

"This is power that you earned because of your own effort," All Might said, the strand of yellow hair in his arms fluttering with the slight breeze from the open sea beside them, the morning sun giving the scene a sense of victory and hope for Izuku.

Tears slowly well up in Izuku's eyes, his fist tightening on what is about to come.

And that wasn't only him, as Braun watches the scene, he hurriedly takes out the portal gun in his pockets and shoots a golden portal, inputting the coordinates to be just high above the duo so that they won't be able to see him.

Hastily walking through it, he continues to watch the live feed with an instant gaze that was as if he was drilling a hole into All Might.

Appearing above the two, he directly looks below him, multiple steel pellets appearing inside his closed palms, a just-in-case type of deal.

"Eat this," All Might said, stretching his hand out that holds his air to Izuku, the victorious aura around them disappearing at a moment's notice.

"Huh?" Izuku said, a blank stare being given to All Might.

"It doesn't really matter what it is as long as you take in my DNA," All Might said, Braun's eyes became one of curiosity as this means quirks are related to DNA in a way, another one added to his list of experiments.

"It's too different from what I imagined!" Izuku shouts in disbelief.

"Now, there's no time! You'll be late for the exam! Come, come, come!" All Might shouts, nearing Izuku with a threatening aura as the strand of hair in his grip glows a menacing presence.

As he was about to force-feed Izuku the hair, multiple shadowy figures suddenly appears around them out of nowhere wearing a black cloak that covers most of their bodies but from the cloaks swaying with the wind, what appears to be underneath was a skin-tight black suit with dark-silver lines all around it, clearly showing that they were evil.

"H-hee!" Izuku shouts, surprised at the sudden arrival of these strangers.

"Stay behind me Izuku," All Might said, protecting Izuku from the 5 figures that appeared in front of them.

As he looks at the 5 with analyzing eyes, the one in the middle starts to speak with a feminine voice, the same one from before that invaded Braun's island.

"Hello there, All Might," the presumed leader said, a mysterious aura went to surround the 5. And in response, All Might stayed silent, preparing himself for what is about to come, his muscles tensing, his sense for battle flaring up.

Without any warning, the one on the far right suddenly shoots out a torrent of flames toward All Might who grabs Izuku and jumps out of the way within an instant, landing back out of the sandy shores onto the concrete pavement behind them.

Letting go of Izuku, he points his finger at a hiding place in the corner which Izuku luckily understood and went to run away while smoke covers the area around them, hiding away in safety.

"Halt there foul villains! Attacking public property is a big no-no!" All Might said, a wide grin donning on his face as the other 4 went to show their quirks.

The lady has electricity manipulation, one has the power to teleport, the other has the power to control ice, and the last one has the power to control the sand around them.

Kicking himself off the ground, he launches forward directly onto the leader, but a wall of sand hastily erupts in front of him while both the fire guy and ice guy shoot a pillar of flames and spears of ice toward All Might.

Spinning on his toes, he swings his arm in a circle, sending a destructive wave of air around them, destroying the wall along with the 2 elemental attacks around him with one single blow.

But right in front of him, the lady hurls a wave of purple lightning towards him, buckling his left fist, he prepares to throw a devastating punch forwards, that was until a sharp pain suddenly erupts from his abdominal area that made him almost lose consciousness, with his concentration now gone, the electricity directly zaps his whole upper body, paralyzing it for a split moment that the other 3 used.

Soon, his arms and legs were covered by sand, a wisp of flames hitting his chest that singes it, and small daggers of ice plunging into his stomach, his vital weakness.

Puking out blood from his mouth, he struggles to move his muscles around from the bounds of sand around him, his mind trying to understand how they knew about his stomach problem.

"Oho, it seems like the number 1 hero does have a problem with his stomach, isn't that right, Toshinori Yagi," the leader said causing All Might and Izuku's eyes to widen in shock.

"Kukuku, once you're dead, you would be added to our army!" the lady guffawed, a menacing laugh erupting from her mouth, fully confident at their renewed success from last time's failure.

But suddenly, a shadowy blur slams behind All Might, causing sand to shoot into the air, disrupting the vision of the 5 along with All Might.

Hastily moving his restricted hand around, he felt a hand suddenly grab his shoulders and saw a figure wearing a silver armor that seems to scream sci-fi appear right behind him, the cold metallic arms of the figure easing the pain in his chest and stomach.

"You owe me a favor All Might, remember to repay this debt once I have to deal with them again in the future," the figure said with a distorted AI like voice, and as he raises his eyebrow in confusion, he felt a syringe suddenly plunging deep into his shoulder and a lukewarm liquid entering his bloodstream.

With shock, he felt steam erupting from his whole body, and slowly but surely, he felt it… his stomach.

'W-what?!' All Might thought, shock at the sudden development, his torn respiratory system and stomach slowly returning back to him, his muscles returning back to their prime along with a renewed sense of strength and vigor flowing through his whole body.

In a matter of seconds, his previously destroyed body was reborn anew, his worn and torn muscles and old bones returning back to the good ol' days of his youth, the glow returning back to his eyes.

As he felt the metallic arm on his shoulder disappear, he swiftly looks back to see the metallic figure now gone, as if he was simply fictional, a being that never existed.

But the power he felt, it was real.

"Hahaha! I AM HERE!" All Might shouts, his catchphrase erupting from his mouth like never before, his mere voice causes the sandy cloud around him to disperse.

"I am here, of course, you're here! Get him boys!" the lady shouts, purple spheres of lighting erupting from her hands and shooting two purple spheres of lightning toward All Might.

But with his muscles that never felt so alive before tensed up, his One for All blaring to life as if a primal beast has awakened.

"DETROIT!" All Might shouts, the muscles in his right arm ballooning along with sparks of energy erupting in the air around him.

"SMASHHHHH!!!" with a singular shout and a single punch, the air in front of him explodes from the roar of a beast of destruction, the fist sending the 5 in front of him flying into the air while the sand around him is dust off into the surrounding area due to the wind pressure.

And as his breath becomes ragged, he looks at his trembling right arm, conflicted emotions being poured into his heart, whether to give his quirk to Izuku now that he is fine, shaking his head, he leaves this question for later and jumps high into the air, trying to find the villains he defeated but weirdly enough, even after a few minutes, he didn't find the five as if they just disappeared into nowhere.

But while that was happening, Braun could be seen floating in the clouds, looking at All Might whose strength was just ridiculous, but after seeing his renewed strength, he just shakes his head in disappointment.

'Even though it's strong, with a simple manipulation of Weak Force, I can just blow up a whole city if I want to, but I will indeed potentially need his help in the future so eh.' Braun thought, shrugging his shoulders and preparing to go back to his base.
