Ch 23 – Fundamental Forces
Inside a very chaotic realm with weird spherical objects with cotton-like surfaces, membrane-like bodies floating all around colored red, blue, green, yellow, and more bringing a sense of life to the place, along with a multitude of other mind-bending sceneries to the human brain.
Deep inside it, a singular humanoid being wearing a silver metallic suit was jumping from one body to another, those gigantic spheres relative to his size being pushed about from his kicks to push him up to the air and land on another sphere.
'There!' Braun thought, glancing at the gigantic cluster of crystalline mass in front of him floating in the middle of the chaotic space he was in.
Hastily grabbing his waist, a metallic disc quickly ejects out of it into his grip, turning on the thrusters in his back, he flies straight towards the gigantic crystals in the distance that was as big as him, some were even bigger.
Throwing the disc below the multicolored crystal cluster, he presses the button on his metallic glove, and with a swish, the disc rapidly expands into a gigantic metallic circle with blue lines on its edges, a blue glow encasing all of the crystals in front of him, trapping all of them into something akin to a globe or casing.
Flying right beside the metallic circle that acts as the bottom of the barrier, he types on the panel that opened right in front of him and went to calculate where they currently are and with a press of a button, a golden light slowly covers the whole construct.
Disconnecting from the robot, Braun opens his eyes to see that he was currently in his lab sitting right in front of an empty white flat plate in front of him, and a ray-like device was hanging on top of it, directly pointing to the empty space just below it.
Watching yellow light gather at the tip of the ray, it went to zap a ray of yellow light into the dish below it, and soon, the quantum crystals appears right in front of him contained in a stabilizing barrier along with his action figure size robot that has the quantum particles he needs.
Grabbing the globe, he flies towards his computer to input the variables and how many quantum crystals he will need and after seeing the screen flash, he flies back to the platform now more refined, with a gravity circle below it that would bend the gravity around it, a circular radioactive panel on top of it that will shoot radiation to the whole cylinder contained inside a barrier of electromagnetic waves.
Opening the silver metallic circle below which was the gravity plate, he puts the crystals inside it and watches the space within the field slowly become chaotic, the light bending, distorting, it was as if reality itself was collapsing within the field that slowly distorts along with it.
As Braun's grin widens, he takes off his gloves that came in contact with the quantum crystals and watches them transform into nanomachines that enter his body, a weird feeling encroaching both of his arms as the nanomachines went through his pores and are stored right below his skin.
Controlling the hover-chair, he flies towards another table holding a glass vial containing a weird green liquid inside it that glows radioactive green, a weird smell wafting into the air but due to the nanomachines inside him, he wouldn't experience any side effects from being exposed to the incomplete serum in front of him, though if he were to release this to the world, billions would die but millions would gain a new superpower through science.
As a small metallic container flies right into his arm the size of a shotgun shell, a blue glow covers the area around them especially the shell, and as he controls the nanobots to put it right above the liquid inside the vial, the metallic shell slowly disappear, a chaotic mass of particles shooting out of the shell like a multicolored cloud of dust right into the liquid, and with an explosion of light erupting from the vial, Braun watches the liquid slowly turn into void black along with motes of light inside it, with all the motes having different colors like a party of stars in the void of space.
With bated breaths, the barrier around them disappears while he felt his hands shaking, the excitement, the fear, the future this serum holds, all of it was finally catching up onto him, a relieved sigh escaping his mouth as his body melts into the chair.
"It's finally done, the serum… Superpowers, I can finally get that power that could hold infinite potential within my hands," Braun mutters, staring at the white ceiling above him with a blank stare, all of the hard work he had done is about to finally pay off, from scouting all around the world for materials, dealing with the concept of time due to time travelers, avoiding the gazes of a precog, but all of that is worth it to him.
'All of that, all for a power that can hasten my progress to speeds unimaginable.' Braun thought, standing up with a groan, he grabs the vial and walks towards another table that holds a syringe gun, putting the vial inside the place where the syringe is going to be held, he nods his head and prepares himself to be reborn, finally stripping himself from mortality and onto the potentials of gods.
Taking off his shirt and pants leaving him butt naked, his toned body was shown to the whole world, a body that he built using the power of science and a multitude of drugs that permanently increases his physical strength, but that soon would become obsolete.
Standing in front of the chaotic quantum field in front of him, he takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, preparing his mind for what is about to come.
'Temporary pain means nothing to permanent death.' Braun chants in his mind, putting his hand on the translucent blue barrier in front of him that contains the quantum field inside it.
Gritting his teeth, he walks through the barrier within an instant and felt like he just entered chaos itself, exposed to the literal unstable reality and chaos.
Hastily putting the gun on his neck, he presses the trigger and with a silent boom, the chaotic liquid flows through his entire body with his veins glowing a rainbow of colors, opening his eyes and mouth, a beacon of multicolored rainbow erupts from both of his eyes and mouth, his irises rolling to the back of his head as he felt like he was being sucked into the void or entering the light.
The chaos was the only constant he felt, he felt like he was in two places at once, both dead and alive, both old and young, the unstable quantum field slowly influencing his mind along with the serum as if both quantum constructs were melding with each other, the quantum clouds formed by the field slowly seeping into his body, his mind seemingly connecting with a new reality, a reality of chaos and order.
Soon, the gravity field, electromagnetic barrier, and radiation fused with the quantum field and became a whirlpool of chaotic colors with Braun in the middle.
As his mind became empty with no thoughts, he felt like he went through a nirvanic experience, soon, the whirlpool became stronger as it all funneled into Braun's body, his body becoming a literal light source from the multicolored lights erupting from him.
But soon, the space around him starts to transform, with small sparks, a bend in space, and the tiled floor on the ground changing into a puddle of water.
Chaos ensued as the vortex around Braun slowly disappears, the glow in his body dissipates into nothingness, and his body returning back to normal.
The moment he opened his eyes, he drops down to the ground on his knees as he profusely coughs, his brain seemingly melting with the multitude of data appearing from nowhere, along with the space around him slightly bending as the light distorts around him like crazy.
Taking deep breaths, the distortion of light around him disappears and he opens his eyes once more, a renewed sense of vigor pulsing through his whole body as he stands up with a grunt while steam erupts from his body, his regeneration kicking in to repair all the torn muscle fibers and tissues.
As he inspects his body, he slowly felt his connection with the surrounding area getting stronger as if he has a field of control.
Quickly going to a white platform, a green glow erupts from the ground up, and soon, he saw it, a floating translucent blue screen appears right in front of his face showing his figure being in the center of a bubble of sorts that covers the area around him.
"It worked!" Braun shouts, a grin encapsulating his whole face as if it was about to split into two due to his grin from ear to ear.
Quickly putting his hand on the wall, the wall suddenly slides open to show the open island in front of him, with plants and trees all around it while the fresh breeze of the sea greets his face.
Glancing at the open blue sea in front of him along with the sun high in the sky, he felt the wind, the ground, the bountiful soil, the bugs inside them, the plants around him, the light rays covering the whole island, everything, he felt everything.
Closing his eyes, he takes a deep breath and felt his mind slowly processing all the data around him, as if he was a machine and not human, and soon, his mind would only grow further, an unexpected boon from his experiment but a welcomed one.
Nodding his head, he opens his eyes once more and taps into one of the powers he now has.
"Gravity," Braun mutters, and soon, his body slowly floats into the air without the help of his powers as a small grin creeps up on his face, chuckling in slight joy.
Concentrating his mind, he slowly flies from right, to left, up, and down.
'This is so much harder than it looks, but I only had this power for a few minutes, I guess let's try the next force.' Braun thought, landing back on the ground, and concentrates his mind on one of the other fields in his broken power.
Soon, slight sparks appear everywhere around him, shaking his head, he concentrates on the quarter inside his pockets, and soon, he watches it float out of his pants and into his open palms.
Letting out his breath that he kept in for a good while, he lets out a groan as he now understands why Rick didn't want to use superpowers at his level.
'He's already a god who can bend reality on a whim, why would he want to have some petty superpowers that he would have to train for years to become worthwhile.' Braun thought, glancing at the coin in the palm of his hands, he decides to try out the next one in line which is pretty interesting.
With a flicker, the light around the coin in his arm slowly bends and he watches it with intrigued eyes.
"Huh, so this is what it's like to control light, radiation would be a pretty interesting power once I dabble more in evolution and biology," Braun mutters, letting go of his control, the light around his arm warps back to normal, and now.
"It's finally time for the final test, either I accidentally destroy the world because I'm defying the physical laws of reality, or it would be just like last time and reality bends to my whim through science," Braun mutters, closing his eyes as he looks at the lead coin in his palms and soon, a shimmer slowly covers the whole coin, and with a flash, one by one, all of the atoms inside the coin turned from lead to gold.
"Huff, puff," Braun lets out an exhausted breath, his mind recovering from the process of alchemy that he has done.
"Whew! All the forces work like a charm! Manipulating them is a bit of a tedious task but with this, I could basically say I'm a god in the making!" Braun said, all 4 forces simultaneously activate to life as gravity around him bends, electricity sparks in blue light, and both weak and strong force slightly alters the air around him showing motes of colorful light.
With the power to control 4 Fundamental Forces now in hand, his power rises once more to unimaginable heights through the power of science and Rick's memories.

Weak force is so hard to write, like what the fuck do I do with it? Decay atoms? Control radiation? Like all the other forces are there being gigachads while this one is just pathetic.
Like yes, he can create stars with it, destroy nearly anything within his range and all that crap, but with strong force, he could basically do all that and more, weak force is such a beta cuck.
And also yes, weak force can transmute stuff, but like how would I demonstrate strong force in this chapter then huh?!
And yes, he can destroy a whole fucking city with strong force by messing with like a kilogram of oxygen and make a nuclear bomb through fission or fusion and strong and weak force are overpowered as fuck... and I'm simply going to let it be overpowered, with a price, Braun can indeed destroy nations right now by using his nuclear force, but he will die alongside them as he is inside the range of the explosions, but yeah, if you want to write a main character, a smart main character who wields the 4 fundamental forces, simply don't, it's complicated as fuck and I'm going to judge you severely if you made a mistake regarding the power like not knowing you can destroy a city by simply altering a kilogram of oxygen.
