(Welp, that's a lie) (Started in May 15, 2022 - 172nd day of writing, well technically no because I haven't written a chapter yet and only made the outlines, synopsis, tags, and find a cover so it should be May 16, 2022 - 173rd day of writing. And don't expect god like writing quality, I get lazy sometimes and just make a decent chapter, but fuck you, I write 4k words a day, so go suck my nuts, I don't give a shit if you hate me and my work, a thousand others will love it and you're just nothing but a single fucking ant, so go back to mommy and say you got bullied by God, yeah, I have a fucking god-complex, hate me more, it only empowers me further because I'm a sociopathic scumbag who thrived off others suffering, and yes, this is a joke... maybe.)

Ch 197 – Dual-Wielding Black Sword God

A soft gust of wind lightly carried a charred feather covered in black soot and gently floated around in the desolate landscape. There were no trees, grass, or water; there was nothing to be seen in the area. No life, not even a single ant, can be seen or felt. It felt barren as if an apocalyptic event has struck the area.

Only the sound of soft wind whooshing can be heard, as nothing else existed other than the broken ground filled with cracks, and the pitiful winds akin to wandering souls. But the situation quickly changed, when an extremely loud explosion burst out like the crack of thunder.

In the originally peaceful but empty blue sky, a shockwave echoed that caused massive surges of wind to occur, forming enough pressure to form more cracks on the ground far below the source of the explosion. Blood spilled from the sky, then flesh, bones, limbs, and eventually, an entire body.

The gargantuan body akin to a beastly mountain emitted a suffocating aura, an aura that felt beyond what is mortal, and instead was divine and godly. The body, though chopped and cut into multiple pieces, the general appearance of the godly beast straight from books of legends and myths can still be discerned.

Its appearance was like a tiger with wings but expanded to an ungodly size. Its fur was green, and its wings were ethereal and emerald in color, as if wind itself converged on the tiger's back to form a pair of wings that span entire mountain ranges.

At the next moment, a black shadow landed on the green tiger the size of mountains. Upon landing on the tiger's back, the figure's appearance can finally be observed.

The figure wore a black cloak covering their body from head to toe. Held by the figure's two hands were a pair of swords; one was colored red and the other blue, and both swords emitted a terrifying aura far beyond the slain tiger's pressure. Both swords felt godly, yet the figure gave off nearly zero presence. A being that seems to be mortal wielded two godly swords, if anyone saw it, they would have their eyes bulge out from the sheer ridiculousness of the situation.

The figure raised one of its swords, pointing it high toward the sky as it emitted an ominous red glow. With a swift swing, the sword was punctured into the body of the mountain-size winged green tiger, and a strange event soon occurred.

A mystical power covered the entire green tiger; not even a single part of the tiger's body was left alone. As the mystical power fully covered the tiger, a strange force soon grabbed hold of something ethereal, and motes of red light soon converged around the red sword, before it then got absorbed into it.

The next moment, the figure's aura surged explosively. Through the figure's thick black cloak, one can see their muscular physique bulge out, and a pair of eyes glimmered from the hood of the shadowy cloak. A soft breath came out from the figure, as the aura of the figure quickly disappeared once more as if their godly visage was never there to begin with.

But the way they stood, the way they held their sword, the way their pair of eyes stared, it was akin to a sheathed sword. The figure has entered a realm of swordsmanship no mere mortals can hope to achieve; the figure was indeed in the realm of gods when it came to his swordsmanship.

Just as the figure's aura disappeared, their eyes squinted and from their vision, multiple entities appeared from nowhere like an illusion. Some of the beasts the figure saw were gargantuan, with the size being comparable to mountain ranges, while some were small and petite, but each of them gave off the aura of a godly being, signifying their strength and threat to the nameless cloaked figure.

"Demon Lord," the figure muttered with hatred coating his muscular voice. His eyes flashed with bloodlust, and a bloody veil of ethereal gas seemed to cover his entire being.

He crouched slightly, his legs gathered an unimaginable amount of strength that caved into the ground below him, forming a ginormous crater that his body shouldn't be able to produce. Both of his swords shone with red and blue sword light, and the aura the two emitted turned up to the extreme.

At that moment, the figure felt like a sheathed sword about to be taken out of its sheath to deal a fatal strike in one swift blow.

"Activate skill: [%@$#%@$%#]."

With a burst of brilliant sword light, a loud explosion, and the cloaked swordsman shot forward at speeds reaching levels beyond what his body should be able to do. Even if he were to stem from an alien race, there is no possible way for the muscles in such a small body to produce enough force to move at such insane speeds, while being able to handle the gargantuan resistance brought by the wind pressure produced by such immense speeds.

But in the face of godly beings, normal logic won't apply. Some can interact with the fabrics of space with their physical vessels, some can traverse the river of time, some can move at speeds faster than light, and some can cause a wisp of flame to burn entire worlds; it is not strange for a godly figure to be able to move at speeds such as this.

Before the god beasts can even respond, he appeared directly in front of a ginormous serpent with shimmering blue scales and yellow shining eyes. Its size was longer than an entire small kingdom, and its height was massive, and towered over the humanoid body of the cloaked figure.

But in the next moment, he muttered once more: "[%!^$@*!^@]."

His blue sword gleamed brightly, and he raised his left arm to the sky. The next moment, energy surged and a ginormous blue blade that pierced through the clouds appeared. It was created from pure godly sword energy, and held an awe-inspiring might. The Law of Sword converged around the entire blade of energy, and immense pressure was emitted by the divine blade.

With a swing, the massive sword flickered with immense speed, and the next moment, the body of the serpent in front of the cloaked was split into two. As both blood and flesh burst out, red motes erupted from the serpent's body and gathered once more around the figure's red blade. As it shone brightly, the being's aura surged like a roaring river.

He continued his onslaught of attacks, moving from one place to another at lightning-fast speeds. His foot stepped on the air like it was ground, and he shot forward with intense winds brushing against him. The huge sword made entirely out of peerless sword light disappeared and appeared in timely moments, which caught the god beasts in surprise.

One moment, the black shadow was rushing forward, the next moment, the sword light has already pierced through their heads before they can even respond. His attacks were unpredictable, and even more unfortunately for the god beasts, they only held above-average intellect compared to mortal men. When compared to gods, beings that have undergone and experienced countless things in life, accumulating their wisdom throughout an entire lifetime full of challenges, their intellect was as still as vast as mortal men and mortal beasts.

Only in rare cases would a god beast have intellect comparable to a god, and in rarer cases would a god beast have intellect above and beyond gods.

Blood flowed like an endless river from the sky as corpses fell down one by one to the barren ground full of fissures and cracks. Bones and bone fragments rained down like snow and sand; flesh and innards rained down like a bloody downpour, and corpses crashed down onto the ground like meteors and mountains. Loud thuds rang throughout the large desolate area, bringing a cataclysmic air to the already apocalyptic landscape.

A single humanoid figure clashed against multiple god beasts; some small, some big. It was truly a grand sight that would shake any mortal beings to their core. Each attack any of the godly figures dealt would bring an otherworldly sight, from bright explosions of brilliant light, to earth-shattering wind pressure, to sword lights that cut anything in its path.

By the time all the godly beings died, a sea of blood covered the entire ground, and corpses were strewn about everywhere. As the cloaked figure stopped, he looked around the area with a pair of cold eyes. An intense smell of blood greeted the cloaked figure, while a disgusting and gruesome sight entered his eyes, but he simply had no other reaction than to gaze coldly.

His aura was surging and erupting like a volcano, and both of his swords shone brightly in red and blue colors. Blood soaked his black cloak, and fleshy bits can be seen everywhere on his body. But slowly, the glow of his swords dimmed down, while his aura grew weaker and weaker until it became just like before; a sheathed sword.

The figure sighed after a long pause of nothing but silence, and he descended down onto the bloody sea below. Both of his feet landed on the surface of the blood sea gently, creating a small ripple that spread outwards.

Purple light appeared, and both of his swords vanished into nowhere. He raised both of his arms and grasp the hood of his cloak, bringing it down to reveal his face.

"Haaa…" He lets out a breath, and his face was fully shown when soft sunlight was directed toward him.

Kilt, the Dual Wielding Black Swordsman.

Soft gusts of wind assaulted his face that stared blankly at the air in front of him. His eyes seemed so distant and lonely, as surges of memories entered his brain.

A lively world. Rifts appeared. Endless demonic beasts erupted. The demonic army invaded. Humanity and all other races died and were enslaved. The other heroes died, leaving Kilt alone to fend for the world. He grew in power as the only remaining human in the world, killing countless beasts and demons. His strength rose to an unimaginable level as he faced this apocalyptic situation all alone, eventually reaching the level of gods in his own unique way.

Years of memories surged into his mind at the moment as his vision seemed to be displaced, and he saw the entire world of Terra, now destroyed and barren. The previous five continents were now destroyed and desolate; seas blue and lively were dyed red and crimson. The gargantuan world tree that breathed life into the world was now burning and charred, with only the trunk left to be seen.

At that moment, an incomparable feeling of loneliness can be felt from Kilt. He was alone, entirely alone, in this world where no other beings lived. He fought so hard to keep it alive, to not leave this world alone, and tried to find a way to save it.

But years have passed, and the bleaker the situation became. The Demon Lord continued to send god beasts his way relentlessly, giving him no time to rest, and was forced to grow by the sword hanging over his neck.

As if time came to a standstill, the soft gusts of wind disappeared, the bloody sea below him stopped, and the faint clouds in the sky stopped their movement. He raised his arm in front of him, a faint purple light gathered at the palm of his hands, and the fabrics of space in front of him warped.

"Earth…" Kilt muttered and his eyes gleamed with nostalgia along with a sense of hope. He had been in this world for multiple decades already, facing such a hopeless situation for years; a sense of relief and freedom seemed to greet him at that moment.

With a wave of his arm, a rift opened, and the Dual-Wielding Black Sword God grinned.
