Fighting Armies In The Apocalypse

In order to fend off the apocalypse, humanity was forced to go toe to toe with all the dungeon armadas around the world. It was a blood bath. With humanities average individual strength and lack of technology, they were easily defeated. All humans were massacred, almost to the point of extinction. Now I, Keith Moore, the last human alive, will face the armies alone on my conquest for revenge. It doesn’t matter if they have an army. It doesn’t matter if they have weapons. It doesn’t matter if they number me a Trillion to one. I’m inevitable. I am revenge. ——— I’m going in blind baby. No outline, no real direction, no ending. I’m extremely lazy so don’t expect long chapters..

"Uuuggghhhh" I stir awake, not conscious enough to observe my sorroundings. Eventually the sun is high in the sky, it's light piercing my eyelids and traveling straight into my eyes. This is enough to stir me fully awake.

"Uhhg, my head. What kind of fucked up party did we have to give me a nightmare like that and why didn't you guys turn the light o-" I open my eyes to realize, 'this isn't the base.' 'How did I get here?'

A sudden torrent of memories rush into my head, giving me a migraine as they are reappearing faster than I can process it. I sit there for a moment shifting through the memories, still laying down.

The last platoon fell..

'Last night was real! Wait, are there any survivors?!' I finally take a look at my surroundings, scouting out for any moving object or person. Nothing... only buildings, road and me. 'I should search. I can't be alone. I can't!' I think madly as I try to get up.

"Gaaah!" I scream in pain, but my throat closes because of the lack of saliva. It seems I was affected by the bomb after all. 'My leg is pretty messed up and I don't think I'll be getting up soon. I need water soon. The enemies seem to have left. There should be a river about 1 KM north, so I should head there. Luckily we escaped near a river, since they obviously looted us of essential supplies.' Usually after every battle, without fail even though there are many different types of armadas attacking us, they've taken our food, water, shelter and other essential supplies. They, or at least most of them, need water and food to survive, sometimes even bringing humans in to eat on. It's probably also a tactic to make sure we all die, whether food, thirst, or a bullet. The advanced ones don't take our guns, though, because it's pretty much garbage to them, even the materials for some reason. That was the kind of armada we fought this time.

I start my grueling crawl towards the nearest water source, dragging myself through the dirtied pavement. This used to be a city, until the armadas. Oh, right, armadas. It's pretty much the forces that go against humanity, whether it be an army of rabbid dogs or another sub race of humans that just hate us. Weird shit I'd say. 'This is going to take a long time. It's too hot out, so I should get as much shade as possible..'

—1 Hour Later—

'Huuh, don't think I'm gonna make it.' I think as my mind rolls, dizzy and deranged from dehydration. 'Heh, guess I'm just gonna die, huh? Really wish there was a grocery store nearby, haha.'

/Would you like to exchange: 1 Combat Knife(Common) for 100 coins and buy: Water bottle X5 for 100 coins?/

'What kind of delusion is this? That's startling, but sure, give me the water bottles.' I jokingly think.

/Thank you for your purchase! :)/

5 medium sized water bottles appear right in front of me. My hands grasp at it and.. 'I can feel it?!' I shakily open the bottle and bring it towards my mouth. 'This can't be real, but I can feel it? Gah! This is annoying. You know what, thoughts later, drinking now!'

I drink it.... it taste so good. 'How the hell does it taste so good?!' I hastily consume the water bottle, making my stomach full. 'Haah, that was.. nice...

'I DRUNK IT?!'
