18 Chapter 18: Change

When Rhash entered the dressing room again, the scene that met him was Kence gripping his phone tightly as if it was his mortal enemy

He thought that his friend was being bullied "again" and Rhash was also angered

"What happened?" Rhash asked and vowed that he will do his best or more like ask his family to punish the person that bullied his friend

Seeing Rhash entering the room, Kence decided to calm himself as he didn't plan to explain what happened to him

"Nothing, there's just some horny assholes messing with me" Kence answered which is not exactly wrong. In his eyes, Calter is a big pervert

Hearing that, Rhash can't help but sigh. As an actor himself, how can he not know the constant harassments that people like them constantly receive?

Just because they use their face along with their talents for a living makes people think that they are some kind of sex toys

"I really hate people like that" Rhash replied and hand the cup of iced chocolate to Kence that quickly stab it with a straw to drink

Kence can feel a cold current going down his throat along with the delicious flavor of his favorite drink and it calmed his nerves a bit

Somehow, Kence suddenly have a craving for cold foods and he continued drinking as if there was no tomorrow

When Kence finished his drink, he saw Rhash looking at him with an unsure expression on his face. Kence knew that this friend of his wants to say something to him but was just afraid

"Spill it. What do you want to stay?" Kence saw how Rhash flinch in his words before the man gathered his courage

"Well .... umm .... I'm still curious at why you suddenly decided to break up with Calter. You are acting like it's not bothering you but I'm your friend... I know that you are not as okay as you show it "

Rhash might not look like it but he is also a person that can read Kence to some extent. The two have been genuine friends for a long time already and they can feel when the other is not feeling good

Just like what Rhash said, Kence is really bothered by this break up especially since he apparently experienced some time travel

Maybe things still haven't fully sunk into Kence's mind yet. There is also the possibility that since he is a person that hated emotional pain, he will throw away these feeling as much as possible

Kence's heart was naturally in great pain but he is a person that prefers using his brain. He was unconsciously ignoring the implications of his actions and deep inside him, he was hoping that he will still end up with Calter

It was a really a good feeling to have a true friend that can know when something is wrong with you

"Then do you want to accompany me after the shooting? I want to eat something cold, maybe ice cream?"

Hearing the words 'ice cream' Rhash's eyes instantly twinkled. As he is a childish person, it wasn't surprising that he also likes sweet things like ice cream

"Sure! I'll treat you today!" Rhash said generously as this is his way of helping Kence cope up with a failed relationship

The two talked with each other for a while before they returned to the shooting. It was already 6 pm when it ended and the two were tired already. But since they have plans for today, they headed towards the parking lot where their cars are located

While on their way, Rhash suddenly remembered that he forgot something in his dressing room

Thus, Kence went to the parking lot first. The plan is they would be going to use his car while Rhash will be picked up by his butler after they decided to go back home

Kence was really looking forward to eating something cold and he soon reaches the parking lot. When the sight of his car entered his eyes, a frown appeared on his face

Aside from his car, Kence also saw Calter leaning his back in his car with a plastic bag in his hand. Kence walks faster and he arrives near his ex in no time

"What are you doing here?" Kence asked with an irritated tone but his heart was currently beating faster than normal

Earlier today, they had such an unpleasant talk yet Calter didn't stop trying to get him back. It would be a lie if Kence says that his heart wasn't moved

In fact, these actions of Calter was giving Kence butterflies in his stomach as he felt that he is loved and important

Seeing that Kence still won't talk to him without getting angry or irritated, Calter can't help but sigh

"Well, I sent food to my boyfriend but he didn't eat it and starved himself. I don't have a choice but to deliver food myself to make sure that he will eat"

Now that Kence thinks of it, he really was starving now as he didn't eat at lunch. He was just too focused on the shooting and he didn't realize it

Still, Kence needs to push Calter away as these gestures are slowly crumblings the wall he built against his ex

"Why don't you change your profession to a delivery boy?" Kence asked snobbishly in hopes that his bad attitude will turn off Calter

Too bad for Kence that he still hasn't realized that the more he acted like this, the more Calter will want to make him surrender

"You want me to deliver food to you every day that badly? Hmm, that sounds like a good idea"

'This scoundrel!' Kence cursed in his mind. Was Calter always like this? He always knows how to make Kence angry

Kence searched his memories as he starts to doubt that this is the real Calter that is in front of him

Instead of making his doubts grow stronger, Kence only realizes something. It's not like Calter wasn't like this before. It's just that this side of Calter was buried away for quite some time already

When Kence thought of his college memories, he was not always on good terms with Calter

Kence is intelligent and he was used to being the number 1 but the changes when he and Calter went into the same university

Because of Calter, Kence becomes the eternal number 2. Of course, Kence didn't pick a fight with Calter because of that since he is not that sort of a shallow-minded person

Still, Calter's act of snatching the position of number 1 causes Kence to pay some attention to him

Originally, that was the end for it but for some unknown reason, the two always had a lot of interaction with a lot of people

At that time, Calter is very bad at communicating and he wants to stay away from people as much as possible. If he was asked a question, he will answer with as few words as possible

That always made Kence irritated and since he is bitter for being the number 2, the way Calter acts always makes him lose his temper

The more they interact with each other, Kence realizes that it upgrades Calter's tongue into a venomous one

It was like Calter always knows the words to say to push Kence's button. They had what people called as hate to hate relationship at that time

It can be said that their story is a typical enemy to lovers' story. It's just that as the years passed by and they entered the real world, a huge part of their personalities changes

Kence always kept his temper under his control as to not sully his name while Calter decided to speak as little as possible again to prevent making any mistakes

Kence managed to turn Calter into a "normal person" with emotions in college but the tiring society once again molds Calter's personality into another one

Since Kence is acting like his former self again, it might have causes Calter to act like how he used to act back in college

Kence was still in deep thought when he felt a sudden pain in his forehead causing a frown to form on his face

"What are you doing?!" Kence asked furiously but Calter just gave him a discontent look

"I am here with you but your mind is flying somewhere. What are you thinking about?"

Kence can feel the jealousy in Calter's voice and also the warmth left on his forehead because of Calter flicking him. Those two simple things engulf Kence's heart in a loving hug giving him an urge to just surrender in this thing called love

Kence was still busy protecting his walls when he felt fireworks exploded at his mouth

Before Kence can realize what happened, Calter already moved his head away after stealing a kiss from him

"Think about something else while I'm here again and this won't end with just a simple kiss" Calter said those words as if they were an Imperial Edict and Kence finally exploded

How dare this bastard kiss him when he is still busy protecting his walls? This Calter is really too infuriating!

Like an angered beast, Kence went to attack Calter. He clenches his fist and threw a punch at this hateful person in front of him

Being punch by someone as strong as Kence won't result in something good!
