A 16-year-old man with striking dark brown eyes, sword-like eyebrows, and a charismatic smile that even the most influential figures would be envious of was sitting in front of his computer, playing an FPS, when suddenly like lightning, memories came to him. Dazed he looked in front of him

"A-A computer? Have I been reincarnated?!" Lin Fen yelled, surprised before sneering. "The heavens must have thought of something when they let me come back. Wait for me Demon Emperor! I'll make you pay for the humiliation you gave me!" Lin fen thought back to the moments right before his death.

Countless galaxies shook at the divine battle that took place. Divine Beasts and Demons fought ferociously. Lower beings cowered at the destruction happening.

Unfortunately, Lin fen died from a sneak attack from the enemy commander that disabled him, and even with all his teammates around him he still died.

Two light thumps rang from the door of his room awakening from his stupor. "Fen'er what's wrong? I heard you screaming." A beautiful voluptuous middle age woman walked into the room. "Ah, sorry aunty Ming I was, ah, playing a game. Yeah!"

Lin Ming frowned looking at the screen in front of him "A game? Are they bullying you? Let me play, aunty here will teach them a lesson! Aunty's three-named e-sports title isn't just for a show!" Lin Ming said triumphantly.

Lin Fen violently shook his head. He remembered how his aunt had broken his expensive monitor complaining about how she carried the game but still lost.

"What? Come on, let this aunty of yours play!" She said pouting. Enchanted by her expression Lin Fen almost said yes in a daze but quickly got out of it by shaking his head. He looked back at his aunt, a soft smile forming on his lips before turning to a face of hatred remembering what had happened to her before he returned.

Lin Ming was unaware of the change in Lin Fen and only shivered, not realizing it was from Lin Fen. "Brr, why is it so cold in your room Fen'er? I knew that that suspicious worker wasn't an electrician! Anyways come down soon dinner is almost ready!"

Lin Fen realizing his killing intent was leaking quickly suppressed it, quietly asking his aunty for forgiveness. Lin Fen shook his head, in his previous timeline a monster had killed his aunty at the beginning of the Trials protecting him, but she could have been avoided if his arch-nemesis hadn't planned for his death!

"Aunty, I swear this time I'll save you!" A determined look appeared on Lin Fen's face. "I won't let anyone else I love die again," Lin Fen looked out the window. "I will end you, Aquarius!" He walked to the window, looking out into the world. "And it'll start today from, The Day of The Gates!"

Lin Fen's face softened "But I can't do anything right now, so I'll relax." Lin Fen headed downstairs and was welcomed by the sight of his aunt and uncle getting ready for dinner. "Where's Bing'er?" he asked out loud.

"She's out with her ruffian friends of her's again" Lin Hei gruffed. "Why can't that girl be more like you, Fen'er?" Lin Hei sighed as Lin Fen chuckled "Let her go her uncle. Older sister is nearing adulthood so she should be able to make her own choices, she'll draw away from those people as her little phase goes away."

"I suppose you're right," Lin Hei put a hand on Lin Fen "You're the only hope I have right now Fen'er" Lin Fen smiled softly. "I won't let you down!" Lin Hei smiled back squeezing harder on his shoulder, both men overflowing with national pride.

Coming out of the kitchen Lin Ming smiled at the two bonding men before alerting them that the food was ready. The family quickly ate their deliciously prepared lunch made by Lin Ming. While Lin Hei was picking up the plates Lin Ming suddenly felt her phone ring and she quickly glanced at it, her expression darkening as she recognized the characters on the screen of the phone.

Lin Fen noticing her sudden change in expression, frowned and remembered who the person on the other end was. It was Lin Bing's boyfriend using Bing's phone to call. He had caused much pain in Lin Fen's past life during the last seven days of the Sorting. Lin Fen clenched his hands in anger before walking over to her and asking who it was.

Lin Ming hesitated before telling him "It's Bing'er." Lin Fen just nodded while this information alerted Lin Fen's already concerned uncle who had seen his wife's worried expression. "What are you doing, women!? Pick it up!"

Hurriedly Lin Ming picked up the phone. "H-Hello, dear what happened?" For a moment Ling Ming was quiet before she mumbled. "Ah, yes bring her home please." Lin Hei quickly bombarded Lin Ming with questions after the call ended.

"C-Calm, down dear. It was Bing'er's boyfriend. He was calling to tell us he was driving her home s-she got a sprained ankle and couldn't walk." Lin Hei let out a sigh of relief.

"I hope that girl learns not to act so recklessly now."Lin Hei turned to Lin Fen "You're the only hope we have, don't let us down, okay son?" Lin Fen nodded and puffed out his chest "Of course father I won't let you down." Lin Ming saw the two's exchange smiled and went back into the kitchen.

Lin Fen glanced over the clock and frowned. "I'll head over to the club Bing'er is at to help her boyfriend." Lin Hei simply nodded he nodded his head. And in a flash, Lin Ming disappeared, Lin Ming remerged from the kitchen to ask Lin Fen to help her carry out the dishes but was left alone.

"Dear, where did Lin Fen go?" Lin Hei waved his hand "He went to pick Bing'er up." Lin Ming blinked confused. "But he doesn't... I never told him which club." Lin Hei dismissed her remark immediately. "He must have gone to a club she frequents."

Lin Ming blinked again, before smiling "Yes, you must be right silly me. Now come help me with these dishes." Lin Hei groaned but was shut down under Lin Ming's no-nonsense glare.

Outside Lin Feng was thinking about the Day of Gates to himself as he started the car. "The day of gates happened numerous warps gates appeared around the universe, some at random but others clustered around Earth that had intelligent life, and out of the warp gates that were near Earth came out beings of great power, and when they laid eyes on Earth and realized the importance and capabilities of it they scrambled to conquer the planet causing mass destruction.

Lin Feng tightened his grip on the steering wheel. "I have been given a second chance to stop your wrong doings A-"
