57 Becomes King Albeit Temporarily

With Eliheid's absence and how he gives King's authority temporarily to Eleonora, she can be said to be the King of Heiligh Kingdom for a month. Yeah, she can rule the entire kingdom of humankind of this world as she wants since the actual King somewhat does stupid things like giving someone he just barely knew for a few days the right to rule his kingdom while he is out of the country and do some business out there. Even his wife, daughter, and son also think he is foolish to do that without talking about it first with them, although his only son barely understands about it.

Eliheid passes the letters containing his message, which is including granting authority, to Luluaria.

While the blonde married woman gives it to her new lover, Eleonora, of course, takes it with gratitude and kisses the blonde's cheeks with a loving manner and causing the older woman to whisper 'My, oh my…' with her cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

That got a jealous look from Yue, Shea, Shizuku, and even Liliana because her mother boldly got a kiss from her beloved crush while she was in trouble not to show her feeling to Eleonora since she is really embarrassed at the thought of that. But then it is also her own fault since she is not honest about it and her mother already giving the young blonde girl a piece of advice regarding love; she is also shocked that her mother found out that every girl around Eleonora, including her, are in love with the young bluish haired girl.

After getting the letters from Luluaria, Eleonora then led everyone to the living room and let her read the letters she got from Eliheid. Although she feels a bit weird that she found herself lead to something again, and this time is a kingdom. Of course, the young hermaphrodite felt a bit overwhelmed and shocked since she was only someone who led a company with several divisions, which is somewhat a challenge for her.

She thinks that her leadership may be challenged on this one, and she doesn't know why, but she will gladly take this chance to improve herself.

Sat down on the couch, Eleonora then opened one of the letters and read it for a minute; everyone around her was merely curious but didn't ask about it since they want Eleonora to know well about the content of the letters.

But what they got what short sighs from Eleonora, who smile ironically. She then spoke to them.

"Looks like Eliheid-sama really wants to pass on all of his responsibility regarding this kingdom to me."

Some of them were filled with confusion about this, and with curiosity, the only rabbitmen with light blue hair then asked unknowingly while no one does it.

"Umm… Eleonora-san, what is that mean? I do not quite understand…."

Eleonora blinked and laughed for a moment before answering the question directed towards her by the young rabbitmen girl with light blue hair who is the hammer wielder. She smiled at her and give the answer.

"Ah, sorry for that, Shea-san. The letter said that Eliheid-sama, or simplify said, Eliheid-san the King of Heiligh Kingdom, give me the right to be King for this kingdom—albeit for a month and there is no restriction or whatsoever regarding it. Simply put, I can rule over this kingdom and do whatever I want for a month."

What Eleonora has said shocked everyone except herself and Luluaria, who just smiled happily since that means her lover can be the rule of this kingdom. Then she can cast out her husband, or worse, Eleonora can be the new king of Heiligh Kingdom and discard the current king. Taking over the throne because of the stupid decision made by the current king and, more importantly, wiped out the religion that worships Ehit the False God that was toying with everyone in this Tortus and made the better version of Heiligh Kingdom that will benefit her.

Eleonora just chuckles in disbelief and is amused seeing the reaction given by them. Although crowning or reorganizing the whole kingdom usually takes a long preparation since there will be many things that need to be arranged, that is not a problem for Eleonora since she is talented in leadership. Still, her confidence about this is questionable, and the one who questioned it is herself.

Once again, Eleonora sighs tiredly and thinking.

Sure, if it is a company, I can handle it, but this is… an entire kingdom. Meaning it is many times large than the company. If it modern world and using a presidential system, then I would be the president, and that is mean I have the whole kingdom on my shoulders—it is definitely same but with a broader scale than a company.'

She scratches her head, and it's not like she dislikes it either, but if she became a king, that means her free time will be limited. She is a workaholic and loves to work, but if she keeps making that habit, people around here will worry and tell her to spend some time doing anything other than work.

She just shrugs it off.

'I will find the solution later and focus on the current problem. If I take this opportunity, then I have the chance to eradicate the followers of Ehit, especially those who corrupt and led people to hate the non-human race or demi-human. Although true equality seems impossible to achieve since something like that won't realistically happen, at least I can tone down the hatred or so towards demi-human in the humanity of this world.'

Eleonora nods her head after collecting her thoughts and deciding the new plan that may be added on her list of the plan. Her blue eyes then blinked and saw her harem, which she cannot deny it again since they were basically in love with her, giving her a look that made the young girl laugh a little about it but then coughed before she spoke.

"Ahem. So since I have the authority at the same level as a king of this kingdom, I can do some things I want to improve the civilization of here for the better. One of them may be eradicating the corrupt followers from Ehit—this is the biggest threat to everyone in Tortus."

Hearing this, Tio decided to speak.

"About that, Eleonora-san. Won't that mean you want to make every human—possibly the follower of Ehit—lose their religion and the one they devoted? If I recall, Luluaria-sama and Liliana-sama is also the follower of Ehit, is that not?"

Silence brought upon them until a sweet chuckle heard that came from the older blonde-haired woman, and their attention was brought to her; knowing this, the princess of Heiligh put on smile on her face and waiting for her mother's answer.

"Forgive me for that, Tio-sama. But the moment I fell in love with Nora, I abandoned my religion of Ehit and decided to have no religion. I am no longer the devoted follower of Ehit, and I practically don't care about it. The same with my daughter, isn't it, Liliana?"

That got a nod from Liliana as the young blonde girl smiles at her dearest mother before turned her head and look straight at everyone.

"Yes. What mother said is right, we won't be the follower of Ehit, and if we want to worship someone, I rather to worship Eleonora-sama—ah, I mean, Eleonora. Since she is more divine than Ehit, and if I recall from your reports on Ankaji, I pretty sure they were already built some things like a shrine or anything to worship her."

The cheeky grin on her face is enough to make the girls except Eleonora nod their heads and smile as they agreed with what she said. But that only leaves Eleonora a bit headache that she right now became an object to be worshiped despite being only a human, yet Liliana told them that she feels she is more divine than Ehit.

Though it's quite scary that they just accept it without a doubt on their faces. But then Eleonora continued.

"Then, I think with what Liliana said, it will be easy to turn those who once worship Ehit to worship me or someone else. I will eradicate Ehit and their crazy follower; the Holy Church is the one since they want to arrest me and other when in Ankaji. They even go as far as trying to brand the people of Ankaji, including the Duke of Ankaji and his son, as heretics just because they help us."

The faces shown by the girls was… unique. The party of Eleonora, excluding Remia, shown mad and annoyed by it while Remia, Luluaria, and Liliana, who heard that, just feel disgusted, and it was imprinted on their faces since they hear the truth from their lover and them not doubting it a bit since that was the truth; Luluaria always knew suspicious about the Holy Church and had a hunch about their misconduct to carelessly branded people as a heretic.

And again, Eleonora speaks her mind.

Luluaria snapped back and nodded her head.

Although Eleonora only knew the Holy Church for the first time, she couldn't help but agreed since from the first impression that given to her by the church, especially by Bishop Forbin, she already knew the church of this world was somehow corrupt and didn't do things right since they were taught the human to be racist towards non-human.

"Indeed. However, I don't know about the Pope of this Holy Church. If I know who is in charge of this Holy Church, then it would be easier for me to find out more about it. Maybe the documents or anything related to that. The first objective may be to eradicate them."

"I knew who is that. The Pope of the current Holy Church is Ishtar Langbard. He is the one who controls the Holy Church and greets the otherworlder who was summoned in here when they first came. He was also too devoted to Ehit and always said everything he did or other is for Ehit."

Hearing this, the remaining and sole otherworlder of Hajime's class then spoke since she knew a bit about Ishtar Langbard and want to share her opinion or any information she had towards her fellows right now.

"Then that is mean Ishtar Langbard is manipulative enough to notice that and use it as his advantage to let people tricked by his words. I only imagine a manipulative and religious devout follower person who done anything in the name of God. He only cares about his god, only that."

The silence has once again been brought, the atmosphere became awkward, but it was broke by the claps sounds of someone's hands, and it gains the attention of everyone as who was the one do that, and it turns out to be Remia. She smiled at them with her cheerful and kind smile before saying something.

"Alright, we can stop this for now and continue this later. Is that okay, Nora?"

Eleonora looked at the green-haired widow and nodded at her.

"Yeah, that is right. We can continue this later, and I will make some plans regarding Heiligh Kingdom. Plans to make this kingdom far better than before and maybe overthrown the current king so I could become the new king. Kind of cruel, but it has to be done. Luluaria, I may need you to tell me anything about Eliheid-sama, anything that would help me overthrown him."

The blonde married woman nods her head thoughtfully before chuckles.

"Fufufu, of course, I will tell you about that. Honestly, my husband was never a good man, either a husband, father or king. So I'm happy if I can divorcing him and married to you."

Liliana was shocked by the sudden reveal of her mother.

"Mother?!"

But she didn't care about what Liliana thought. Yue and Tio couldn't help but snickered while Shea frowned since she only focused on the word 'married to you' that referred to Eleonora, and Shizuku just sweatdropped at the bold confession made by the queen about her husband.

Luluaria then continued.

She said it with a hint of blush on her cheeks and felt somewhat happy.

Hearing what the blonde married woman made Yue, Shea, Tio, Shizuku, and Liliana shocked. They were frowned at Eleonora and think it was unfair that the queen had taken the advantage and already have sex with the young chairman, especially Yue, Shea, and Liliana.

Those three want to be with Eleonora first, although the golden-haired vampire princess knew that she was not a virgin anymore—but she still wants her to claim Yue's 'first time.'

The drooling Shea was scolded by Yue because of her behavior and manner always lacked which didn't fixed at all along, while Tio who is just chuckled at that, and Shizuku who just sighs and sweatdrops seeing her companion. Eleonora and the rest couldn't help but laugh at that as they made their way to the kitchen alongside Shea, Yue, Tio, and Shizuku, who already went in by followed Luluaria, who went ahead of them.

When she walked towards the kitchen, a thought crosses her mind.

'Although extended my stay in here is not bad, I must inform the people on my world about this. It will be no wise if I keep quiet and not tell them about it. Especially my family and the secret that my father holds, something about himself. Not my bloodline, though, but… why his magic somewhat eroded slowly, and he seems aware of it….'

Indeed. That was what was troubling the young bluenette. Eleonora did not use [Observe] that time and did not know what kind of problem his father had. The sound of someone coughing can be heard. But from the sound of it, something wrong and not normal. It was not the typical coughing sound that sick people always have, but the one who has that sound is someone familiar, from his appearance at the very least. The one who coughs was Eleonora's father, known as Theodore Pendragon; he spurted blood from his mouth.

His wife, who saw it, was shocked and had worries on her face. She then approaches him and rubs his back while asking with a concerning tone to her husband.

"Dear, please do not force yourself. I know you want Elly to have a good life, but constantly do this and put many burdens on your body…."

But her husband just waves off and grinning as if nothing happens.

"It is okay, this is the one I want, and if Ellen knew this fact—which is sooner or later she would know this—I was one hundred percent sure that she would find the solution for this. However, that makes me look dependent on her but actually not. I am her father and knew very well about her. She would definitely try to find any cure or solution to fix my problem."

"But still… you have to rest and not always stay up late. Your bad habit is the one she inherits and made her workaholic, you know."

He laughed and tried to stand, then sit again on the couch while he took the handkerchief from his wife and wiped off the blood from his mouth. He then relaxes his body and looks at the ceiling of his house while wondering about something.

He then closes his eyes, sighing in relief, and opened his eyes before speaking.

"I know that, but at least she inherits some bad and good from both of us. But honestly, I won't expect that she will return home soon since she keeps in contact with me a lot. It's also ridiculous how a phone call can go through another world or dimension."

His wife just chuckled at her husband and nodded in agreement.

"It seems like what Ellen would do. She sometimes has unexpected thoughts and people won't easily understand that. Although I hope she won't be too nice towards someone."

Theodore sighs in disappointment about her daughter, who is sometimes too kind to people around her, especially stranger, despite how lucky she is, but that won't ease her parents' worries. Yuuka couldn't help but agree with it; she knew that if someone becomes too nice to people, it would affect her bad since that will let someone use it. But it's not like they want her to be heartless or sort of; they just want her to be aware of it sometimes.

"Elly also tends to spoil someone she cared about. An example is Nadeshiko-chan, who always spoils her and buys her a lot of stuff, although… Sakura-chan is always the one who scolds her and reminds Elly not to act like that too often."

"Not only Sakura—Keine and Curacoa also sometimes scold Ellen whenever she too overboard spoiling someone she likes. But Theodore just shrugged.

Theodore just chuckles at his wife's habit. She sometimes forgot about things she already knew, despite being just one week old, but her mind at remembering is not that terrible, unlike a certain green-haired swordsman who constantly lost his ways.

"It will be faster if we check it up on the internet, though."
