One thing I did as soon as I got up was to take my toothbrush and toothpaste from the second compartment of the drawers next to my bed and walk out of my room.

The place I lived was a hostel. You know, people stay in single rooms and everyone has shared bathrooms and toilets.

The reason I lived in this hostel was because it was completely free.

I went to the sink, two doors to the left of my room, stood in front of the mirror, and as I started brushing my teeth, I got lost in thoughts about the mistakes I had made in the past.

About 3 years ago, I was an ordinary university student. One day, while watching the news on my phone, I saw news about a large portal that had suddenly appeared in the Korean capital.

People were always talking about this at that time, and the day after this incident happened, a portal appeared in the capitals of America and China.

In just one month, at least one portal appeared in every country in the world. Portals were actually magical rings that appeared suddenly, the rings with transparent centers were suspended in the air and people could pass through these rings as if there was nothing there.

Over the next month, the portal in Korea suddenly began to turn red, and a week later, cracks appeared in the middle of the portal.

While I was watching on the live broadcast, a green hand reached through the cracks and completely destroyed the portal.

After the portal was shattered, small short and green creatures came out with small knives in their hands and started attacking people.

They looked just like the goblins we see in the games, and that's why game makers around the world were arrested and questioned, but nothing came of it.

Although the disaster in Korea was quickly stopped by the Korean army, several scientists who thought that the portals were a wonder of nature and studied them were killed by goblins during this disaster.

After the incident in Korea, something very interesting appeared on the news, a man appeared on television and started telling something about an invisible screen in front of him and that this screen ordered him to hunt monsters.

This news, which no one cared about at first, became a world-wide news story with the emergence of hundreds of more Koreans with the same symptoms.

Over the next few weeks, the whole world learned that these people could enter and exit the portals by touching them.

For the next few months, no news was heard except incidents occurring with portals opened in America and China.

The subsequent portal breaks in America and China did not cause anyone to die because the weak creatures that emerged from the portals were only slightly stronger than an ordinary person and were destroyed by the army in a short time.

After this incident, countries did not talk about this issue for half a year and ceased to be discussed even on social media. Of course, later everyone learned that it was the states that suppressed the issue.

While I was in my last year at university, portals came back into the media spotlight, even in my country there were people talking about an invisible screen similar to the one that first appeared in Korea.

These people later began to be called Hunters.

One day, all the leaders in the world gathered around the same table and founded an association called Hunters Association and spread it all over the world.

Now a hunter meant a person who had a prestigious job. Hunters had passports called black passports, valid in every country, and each was paid a monthly fee of $1,000 by the hunters' association.

As time went on, people began to learn more about the Hunters. There was an invisible screen that all hunters had and thanks to this screen they could become stronger by killing monsters.

Now let's come to my hunting life

One day, as I was leaving school and walking towards the nearest restaurant to eat, I was almost crushed to death by a passing truck.

As soon as I saw the truck coming, I threw myself aside and avoided being run over by the truck. I can still remember the heat as my foot scraped against the truck tire.

As soon as I was saved from being run over by the truck, a blue screen appeared before my eyes, which hunters on TV channels talk about.

I went to the Hunters Association with excitement and registered as a hunter because the minimum wage in the country I lived in was only 600 dollars and as a hunter I could earn a thousand dollars a month even without doing anything. Moreover, there were only 22 hunters other than me in Turkey, the country I lived in, which made me happy. This made me a very special person

People chosen as Hunters were either engaging in rare activities or excelled in specific fields. For instance, one might be selected as a Hunter due to their cooking skills, earning the title of chef or a similar designation.

All Hunters acquired abilities corresponding to their titles.

In my country, more than half of the Hunters were renowned doctors.

The title I obtained the day I narrowly escaped being run over by a truck was **Survivor**. This title granted me the ability to increase my chances of survival.

For a period, I received invitations from numerous local news channels and television programs. I participated in hundreds of interviews and briefly gained widespread fame. While walking the streets, many people approached me, asking questions and taking pictures.

Then, one day, a portal opened in Turkey, and all Hunters residing in Turkey, including myself, were summoned to this portal.

Prior to entering the portal, we underwent a month of military training, during which we were instructed on the weaknesses of the monsters encountered in portals worldwide.

I vividly recall my first dive into a portal ; finding myself in a vast rainforest where we were inexplicably unable to bring technological weapons or devices.

While traversing the rainforest with my team, a snake emerged from the grass and bit one of our teammates, poisoning them. Subsequently, we discovered the presence of hundreds of poisonous insects in the forest.

Fortunately, most of the Hunters in our group possessed healing abilities and were able to counteract the effects of the poisons we were exposed to.

All the monsters we encountered in the forest were poisonous insects, and after a period of hunting, we returned.
