When Chef Supreme said that he knew that Du Miao did not call the shots in the Freedom Federation, Du Miao's expression soured.

They were all members of royalty of their respective federations. Chef Supreme could make decisions on behalf of the Radiance Federation, but Du Miao could not do the same for the Freedom Federation.

By bringing this fact up, Chef Supreme had shredded all courtesy between himself and Du Miao. It was as though Du Miao was only a member of royalty in name but was actually nothing more than the Mirror God and God of Fools' lapdog.
