They arrived infront of a huge building and a lion symbol could be seen imprented on the doors of the entrance.
It was the mission hall's symbol which represents their division in the academy. They both walked inside as they glanced at the busy students who are doing their works.
As they walked inside, they arrived infront of a huge wall, which was divided into two different sections and different types of posters can be seen sticked to the wall on those sections. A reception table was also situated just left side to the wall.
"We have to choose from the first section, where we can see the missions that are allowed to taken by the 1-Star to 3-Star mages are posted." Sophie said as her eyes fell on the right side of the wall.
Kathleen also looked at the missions wall to select some good missions that she can complete without putting herself in danger. However, she know that it would be impossible to earn something in this world without risking something.
Her gaze fell on two missions that she felt good to complete.

Mission issuer = Adam, from weapon smitting division.
Mission = Kill the sky wolf king.
Discription : Kill the sky wolf king which was a 2-Star peak level magical beast that was living in the outer area of the serene forest with its pack, than bring back it's corpse.
Notice : The reward points might be decreased if the sky wolf king's body was too much damaged.
Rewards = 3000 Contribution points
Extra points will be rewarded for every extra sky wolf corpse you bring other than the sky Wolf king's corpse.
Every normal sky wolf's corpse will be = 300 contribution points, according to the strength and age of the the sky wolfs that was brought here, the extra Rewards may increase or decrease.

Kathleen stared at the poster thinking it was a good one to complete. These missions are posted daily by students or nearby small powers that depends on the magus academy.
A sky wolf king was a evolved version of the normal sky wolf, that's why it's price was so much high. Evolution possibilities in a magical beast will depend on it's blood line, as long as it has a strong bloodline any kind of magical beast can evolve multiple times unlocking it's ultimate potential.
And weapon Smiths are always in need for the materials that could be extracted from these beasts.
Although she was only a 2-Star mid level mage, she was thinking of advancing to high level from mid level before departing to the mission.
Mages generally make advancements when they feel their mana core can expand further and contain or hold more mana, and Kathleen was feeling that way from the morning, she can only think the fight with the flaming tiger cub helped her to reach the advancement point.
Not only that, she have Sophie alongside side her in this mission. Sophie was already a high level 2-Star mage, taking down a Peak Level 2-Star magical beast will be easy for them.
As she was thinking that, her eyes fell on another mission which caught her interest.

Mission issuer = Luna blackburn from the portion making division.
Mission = Collect the colour changing fruits.
Discription : The colour changing fruits will be normally seen it the outer areas of the serene forest, the mission was to bring back as many of them as possible. It doesn't matter if they are not ripe, as long as they are normal sized.
Warnjng : Depending on the location, A Magical beast might be guarding the colour changing fruit tree and waiting for the fruits to be ripe.
Reward : 400 Contribution points for a single fruit.
Notice : Depending on the fruits quality, this rewards might increase or decrease.

That was another mission she was thinking of taking. Of course, she know that there might be a magical beast guarding the tree, but as someone that had a basic knowledge about the colour changing fruits, she know the beasts that are guarding around the tree will not be powerful.
Colour changing fruits were used in many types of Potions, that's why their price was so high, but eating it raw was not much useful for any beast or a human.
Since a 3-Star rank magical beast have very good senses, they won't even eat them knowing it they will not be beneficial to them, at most she and Sophie might encounter a low level 2-Star rank magical beast which they can easily defeat.
Deciding to take this missions, she turned towards Sophie and told her to pick them.
Sophie was suprised after seeing the two missions, these types of low level missions with high rewards are very rare, so she walked forward to grab them before anyone could take them.
She took the colour changing fruit mission and moved towards the other one, she also took the wolf hunting mission from the wall, but just as she was putting her arm down, another hand grabbed the poster she was holding.
"Who?"
She turned around only to see a slender looking man with short Black hair holding the paper.
"Miss, my name is Raven from the weapon smitting division. I am in need of contribution points right now, how about you let me have this mission in exchange for a favour." The man who introduced himself as Raven spoke to Sophie in a gentle voice.
"Favour? I literally don't even know who you are, even if I know you it's a same situation for me too, since I got the mission poster first, according to the rules it should be mine." Sophie said, not releasing her grip on the mission's poster.
"Oh, Miss is quite firy, since you want it so much I will let you have it." Raven said as he released his grip on poster. However, he suddenly grabbed Sophie's hand before she could pull it back.
"You." She immediately tried to pull back her hand, but the man infront of her has more amout of physical strength so she can't even move her hand properly.
"How dare you." She started using her mana to pull back her hand.
"Hehe, you should've just given that mission to me but -
Boom~
Before he could finish his sentence, he felt a terrible pain in his abdomen area which made him lose strength all over his body. Because of that, he released Sophie's hand, and the next second he got sent flying 10 meters backwards from the place he was standing.
"It was a basic thing to know holding a girl's hand without her permission was a very rude thing to do, you're really not educated enough." Kathleen said as she put her leg down, which she used to kick the person holding Sophie's hand.
