The dark tendrils immediately came back into Kathleen's hand as she pulled them back. However, looking at her palms, she discovered the veins inside her hands are started popping out and her two hands started turning dark from inside.

She hurridly looked through her space ring, finding what she wanted, she took out two gold coloured pills from her space ring and put them into her mouth.

In the many elements a mage could use, darkness and death elements are considered the most dangerous once, since they are known to slowly currupt a mages mind if mages decided to indulge themselves too much in darkness or death magics.

In a way, they both are very Similar to the demonic magic which gives mages insane amount of power boost but at the same time, it drives them insane from inside their minds.

Kathleen or any other member of the black dragon family can avoid this mind curruption by practicing their unique mana circulation techniques. However, what Kathleen just used was a technique that she learned in the black dragon duchy.

It was a high level technique, with her strength, it was impossible for her to use this technique without any side effects. Her hands would have been completely destroyed if she didn't have the light purifying pills in her storage ring.

Even after taking the pill, she still can't use mana through her hands for an half an hour are so. That's why she did not even consider using this technique in a fight, less she die because she can't use magic in the middle of the battle because of this.

After seeing her hands slowly regaining their colour, she heaved a sigh of relief and rushed towards Sophie.

Sophie was laying on the ground unconscious, her right leg was bleeding and from her thigh to her foot, a scar could be seen with blood leaking out from it.

"That tail must've surrounded Sophie's leg, if not she couldn't have such big injury. The paralyzation poison might have been injected into her leg in large quantities." Without wasting anymore time, she took out a detoxifying pill from her space ring and forced it down Sophie's throat.

Although something like the light purifying pills are seen very rarely, detoxifying pills are very common for a mage to carry along with them for safety measures. The wild boar was just a 2-Star beast and it won't create any life threatening poison in it's tail, so those pills are enough for Sophie to heal.

She also gave a few healing pills that she was carrying and watched as Sophie's complection becoming normal. But she still did not woke-up making Kathleen decide to move Sophie's body to a more Shadowy place so the sun won't effect them.

Kathleen stood up and went towards the boar as she put it's corpse into her space ring, she came back to Sophie and tried to lift her up.

"Damn, Am I too weak or is she just weighing too much? Cough, If Sophie knew I said that, she will definitely attack me with her strongest technique."

Kathleen lifted Sophie with little struggle, she wanted to carry her under to a tree. But seeing a huge cave just a hundred are so meters away from them, she slowly dragged herself their.

Of course, she also checked wether their is any magical beast in it or not before entering the cave. She put Sophie's unconscious body on a flat long rock while she also sat just beside the body.

"Hmm, when will she wake up? Sigh, I have been too reckless this time around. But it's impossible for me to see blood and act like it was normal, it had only been few days of my transmigration after all.

Well, as far as I knew, I will get used to it soon, but what was that feeling I felt when I killed the boar, no, it was when I saw Sophie was injured, I felt rage and anger and...and I felt very uncomfortable. Her face suddenly reddend seeing Kathleen's beautiful face near to her but she held her breath and waited to see what Kathleen is going to do.

However, to her relief or maybe some disappointment, Kathleen did nothing and pulled back her head.

"You finally woke-up, I was really worried. First of all-." She stood up and suddenly bowed towards Sophie.

-It was because of my hesitation that you've got injured, I hope you can accept my humblest apologies." She said with a deep apologetic tone in her voice.

"Kathleen, there is no need to apologize, I know I will walk around in just a few minutes, above all, you're a heiress, you shouldn't bow to any other people other than the imperial family or your own parents" Sophie said shaking her head slightly, but Kathleen only shook her head hearing what Sophie spoke.

"I am indeed a hairess but I am also you're friend, you put your body in the middle of an attack to protect me and that showed me how much importance you put on me, I clearly let you down-

"O-Okay, can you please rise up from that bowing position." Sophie couldn't take it anymore, seeing that large dangling malons of Kathleen. She can easily see them becuase how low Kathleen had bowed, It also made Sophie's mind imagine many things in her brain.

Kathleen frowned seeing Sophie's red face. She looked down only to see Sophie's eyes are focused on her breasts. She didn't understand what is happening, but thinking for a few seconds she suddenly realised.

'Did Sophie find me attractive?' Kathleen thought in her mind as a small smile appeared on her face.

She rose up as Sophie requested and sat beside her.
