33 Bloodline Awakening

"I already transferred the most important things in to her mind, when my soul power recovers I will summon her here again and properly train her, than I will ask back my favour."

Mythical Blood Palace is not something so easy to control or activate, and she didn't have a physical body to borrow power to contain the need of soul power. She can only wait a few weeks or even months before summoning Kathleen again.

Agatha looked at the place where Kathleen disappeared as many thoughts flashed through her mind. After a few moments, she turned around and walked deep into the palace.

Kathleen suddenly opened her eyes and rose up from her sleeping position.

Huff~ Huff~

"That was all real." She spoke while panting lightly.

"But, why was I suddenly got ejected from that space, didn't she say that she was going to train me?" She didn't understand what happened but since nothing happened to her soul, she heaved a sigh of relief.

While she was thinking this, she suddenly felt a mild headache which made her put a hand on her forehead.

'Ugh'

The mild headache started to increase making her clutch her head with both of her hands. The intense pain continued but she didn't scream or struggle, she only grunted and endured the pain.

Suddenly, her blood started to boil and sweat started to appear on her face.

The mana around her rapidly started to flow into her body and her eyes turned pitch black. Even with the pain, she was able to notice what is happening to her body.

Sensing an opportunity, she moved her right hand as she weaved it slightly, a small mountain of mana crystals appeared infront of her bed from her space ring.

The mana crystals are mainly used for strength improvement and also for rank advancements. Although it doesn't really matter even if they're not used, they make the advancements way easier and faster.

Since Kathleen didn't lack these Mana crystals, she was using them even for minor advancements and stuff.

Abruptly, black scales started to appear on her legs and hands and face. Her body shivered slightly, she sensed a supreme will in her body that was trying to simulate her bloodline and trying to make it surface itself.

"This...was probably because of that dragon women, when she touched my forehead, I felt some information entering my mind, and she also did somthing to my bloodline which was leading to my bloodline awakening currently."

However, this was also a opportunity to make a advancement in her strength since the awakening of unique bloodlines and physiques will give people a boost in their strength.

As she gazed down at her body after the disappearance of her headache, she found some weird tattoos appearing on her hands, neck and face.

Some of them are shaped in the forms of different parts of a dragon, dragon's tale, claws, skull and fangs etc.

Roar~

A roaring sound suddenly resounded as a vague silhouette of a dragon appeared behind dragon. It was too vague that the silhouette just vanished in a few seconds, however, before it vanished it's gaze fell on Kathleen and it made Kathleen remember something from the memories she inherited.

She remembered the same gaze which was filled with majestic intent to fight that Duke Oliver give her when he taught her the Dragon Sword Dance technique.

"This phenomenon must be happening because of my bloodline awakening, Agatha did say my black dragon bloodline was a bit unique, although I don't know in what form it was unique, this might help me breach the gap between me and Max." She spoke out loud as she closed her eyes and started focusing on her advancement.

With her bloodline fully awakened, she sensed that she entered into peak level 2-Star mage, but, it did not stop their as her mana kept raising, she felt the barrier between the 2-Star rank and 3-Star rank becoming thinner.

Her mana core which was surrounded with two mana stars started rotating as third mana star was started appearing.

Every time a mage advances, they will create a mana star near their mana core which will keep rotating around the mana core.

Kathleen's third mana core slowly completed as it started rotating around her mana core.

Boom~

A mana wave suddenly erupted around her body indicating she successfully entered 3-Star rank.

She opened her eyes slowly as she marveled at the feeling of strength coursing through her body.

"This... This feeling that I feel whenever I made an advancement is really intoxicating." She definitely understood why the people who grow up in this fantasy worlds crave to gain more strength and become powerful.

In a world where the hierarchy was decided by a person's strength, it was easy for powerful people to make the wrong things into right and injustice into justice, and people generally want to become strong so that they can have these privileges.

As she calm down after her advancement, her mind became more clear allowing her to rethink what happened a few hours ago.

"This world is far larger than anything that was mentioned in the novel, but it was not suprising to me as I already expected this, but the information about the dragon emperor and Null Era put a lot of questions in my head."

She didn't understand about the Null Era and why Agatha said that she can't speak about the matter.

"Could it be that she signed a soul contract to keep this information hidden, sigh, I can only speculate but not judge it with my over thinking skills.

Not only that, Agatha was very powerful, powerful enough to make me her slave even if our physical bodies are not in direct contact, but she didn't do anything like that and proposed me a fair deal telling that she trusts me. This was just too much suspicious no matter how I think about it."

These questions are still in her mind, however, there was also a possibility that she was just overthinking and Agatha was not so cunning type as Kathleen thought a moment ago, than again, it didn't kill her to be a bit careful, right.

She was also worried about how she was pulled into that space called Mythical Blood Palace without her consent or her awareness.

Just as she was thinking this, she suddenly felt something in her mind.

Information about a unknown technique suddenly appeared in her mind making her frown.

"This was also the work of Agatha, let me see what type of techniques she give me." She spoke as she reviewed the technique in her mind.

Her eyes suddenly opened wide as she went through the technique.

AN - Sorry for the inconsistent updates lately. Out of nowhere health issues and this week will be hard for me to write, so the updates may will be a bit inconsistent this week, but I will try to push 1 chapter a day, if possible.
