27 LET'S SLEEP TOGETHER.

Imperial City at Newly Wed's apartment in morning,

Seren was feeling a little uncomfortable as she felt something on her waist. She was still sleepy but almost awake by the heaviness on her body. She slowly opened her eyes and turned to the another side of bed when she noticed Louis was sleeping soundly on his stomach while his hand was on her waist. She was surprised to see Louis in the same bed as her. Soon as she came back to her senses, she tried to pull out Louis's hand from her waist but his grip was really strong almost holding her tightly.

She was left with no other choice other than waiting patiently till he wakes up or wake him up right now. But if she doesn't wake him up right now and if he doesn't leave her then she might be late for work. She wanted to pretend to sleep again to ease the embarrassment but her work was more important than anything.

She sighed and looked at him as she called, " Mr. Edward".

She called him but he was sleeping soundly. She wondered, ' Did he sleep late last night? I guess he carried me to the bed '.

After waiting for a moment she tried to shake him in order to wake him up. Louis mumbled, still in sleep, " Butler Uncle just let me sleep for five minutes. I'll be down for breakfast soon".

Seren thought, ' What? Butler Uncle? Is this quack day dreaming? Do I look like an butler to him?'.

Seren maintaining her composed face again called his name and shook him , " Mr. Edward can you please move a little. I need to go to work ".

Louis finally opened his eyes as he heard Seren's voice. Everything was vivid in front of him cause he was still sleepy. When he saw Seren was in front of him he asked, " What happened Seren?".

Seren replied, " Can you please remove your hand from my waist?".

Louis realized that he was sleeping while holding Seren. He immediately retreated his hand as he said, " I'm sorry. Due to my bad sleeping habits I didn't realize".

Seren without answering just went to bathroom for a quick shower. The only thing left behind was a flustered Louis who was blushing due to which his ears became red. He was sitting on the bed while running his fingers through his hair thinking, ' Why the hell did you put your hand around her waist? Are you crazy? What will she think of you? Ahhhhhh ! This is making me insane. Should I just pretend like nothing? After all we are still married couple. No.... But still she seems to not be interested in our relationship so I should apologize. Isn't it? I'll do it when we are having breakfast '.

Seren came out of the bathroom after some time. She saw Louis sitting on the bed deep in thought as she said, " Aren't you going to work Mr. Edward? ".

Louis came back to his self as he replied, " Ah.... yes. I'll be back after I have a shower".

Seren said, " I'll be preparing breakfast then. Do you need me to pack lunch for you?".

Louis replied, " No its fine. It will be quite troublesome for you when you have to go to work too. I'll just eat in the cafeteria of our office ".

Seren went to prepare for the breakfast and got ready to go to her work too. Louis had his shower and got ready to go. He just can't be late as he is still an intern. After getting ready both were eating at the dining table. Seren was reading something in her phone and Louis was thinking about how to apologize to Seren.

Finally when Louis mustered up his courage he said, " Seren ".

Seren still busy looking at her phone asked, " Yes Mr. Edward?".

Louis looked down as she said, " I'm sorry about that incident in the morning. I really didn't realize that my hand was on your waist ".

Seren still ignoring this guy replied, " It's fine Mr. Edward as long as you know ".

Louis thought of something as he said again, " Let's sleep together".

Seren almost spitted her soup. She quickly wiped her mouth with a tissue and got back to her composed self. Still shocked by his words she said, " Mr. Edward please don't say such things that can be easily misunderstood ".

Louis replied like an innocent kid, " I don't mean anything besides just sleeping. The couch is too small for one to sleep. I can't let you sleep on it and if I sleep then it will only make my body hurt more. As there is only one bed so we can just share it. Didn't we slept together yesterday too? Also when we shift with my family that time we will have to sleep together in one room. Why not be comfortable with each other so that there won't be problems while we are pretending to be a married couple".

Seren thought, ' Why is this quack mentioning sleeping together again and again? Has he finally lost his mind and gone insane? Does he have no shame? Or he is just too innocent? '.

Seren asked, " Mr. Edward do you think it seems appropriate for a man and woman to sleep together? Even thought as you mentioned its just sleeping".

Louis said, " Do you like me or have feelings for me Seren?".

Seren immediately replied, " Absolutely no. All I have towards you is humanity".

Louis countered, " I don't feel anything towards you too. So what does it matter even if we sleep together. Not like we like each other that way. Besides we are legally a married couple. Isn't it normal for husband and wife to sleep together? I don't think anyone will question it whether its appropriate or not".

Seren sighed as she thought, ' Where did this quack make reasoning from? Why does he have an answer to every question I raise ?'.

Seren replied, " So what do you want me to do Mr. Edward?".

Louis still eating his food replied, " Nothing more than just practicing sleeping together".

Seren sighed as she replied, " Fine " and focused on her phone again , reading her schedule and surgeries she has to perform.
