KIDS ARE STILL AWAKE.

Imperial City at Daniel and Winter's apartment at night,

After disconnecting the call the couple who were in their bedroom chuckled together. They both loved teasing their friend Seren. They both were sitting at the ends of the bed as they talked with Seren on phone.

Daniel said, " Guess she is getting along well with her husband".

Winter replied, " It seems so. But still I am worried for her".

Daniel assured his wife as he held her hand, " It'll be fine. See? She even got married on her own will which is a good thing".

Winter replied as worry showed on her face, " She got married just for the sake of her mother's will otherwise she was always adamant on her decision. I don't understand why she is so stubborn".

Daniel said as he caressed his wife's cheek, " Don't worry. I am sure she'll learn to depend on someone one day. Is there someone who never falls in love?".

Winter said, " I know but still".

Daniel asked, " Is there something that is troubling my honey?".

Winter sighed as she replied, " Do you remember the day I went to fortuneteller which mother recommended. I asked Seren's fortune too. I was told that Seren doesn't believe in love anymore but there will be her fated one who will teach her love and care".

Daniel asked as he caressed her cheek again, " So what is the problem?".

Winter replied, " But she will be getting married twice. And she is destined to marry both the time with her same fated one. They also told me that she will play an important role in the life of her fated one. She may have many admirers but her heart will only accept one person".

Daniel asked, " If she is only gonna accept one person then why get married twice with the same one?".

Winter said, " I am confused about it too".

Daniel kissed his wife on her cheek as he assured her, " We can't say anything. Just let her live her life. I'm sure she will make right decisions. And we know how strong she is".

They both chuckled again as they remembered their college days and how Seren was at that time.

Daniel looked at his smiling wife as he stared at her. Winter noticed him as she asked, " What?".

Daniel leaned in closer as he said, " As I made your mood better so shouldn't I be getting a reward? I was working all night and I am really tired.....".

He was cut off as Winter pecked on his lips. The peck was just for a moment and Winter was about to get up but Daniel held her hand as he puller her closer towards him.

Winter reminded him, " Kids are still awake".

Daniel replied as he smirked, " They are studying in their room. We can just take our time".

Before winter could do anything a pair of soft and warm lips covered hers. Before she could say anything he kissed her again. She didn't resist as she closed her eyes and let him kiss her. Her hands voluntarily moved to his neck as she circled her hands around his him. Daniel pulled her as his one hand was on her waist and another at the back of her neck to deepen the kiss. Soon their gentle kiss converted into a passionate one. They were pulling each other as much as close leaving no space between their bodies. After a few minutes Daniel stopped and looked at his wife while resting his forehead on hers. Their breathing was heavy and both of their hearts were beating really fast.

Daniel said as he smiled still resting his forehead on hers, " I love you".

She replied with him a peck on his lips as she smiled, " I love you too".

He pecked her again on her lips and she did the same. As if they both were playing. When these two love birds were busy kissing and pecking each other suddenly the door was wide open.

They both stopped as they realized the door of the bedroom was not locked which made two cute little figures enter in.

Arjen and Arien both entered their parent's bedroom as it was not locked. But when they entered in they saw their parents doing something.

Arjen asked as he was curious, " What is mom and dad doing?".

Daniel retreated back and winter too got little away from him as she sat on the bed. How could they tell these five year old kids what they were doing. Both of them looked at each other as to think of an answer to their kid's curiosities.

Suddenly Arien said as she thought of something, " Daddy must've been a good boy so mommy was giving him a kiss".

Winter replied as she wanted to assure her kids, " Hmm. Daddy was a good boy. How did our Arien guess it right?".

Arien said as she was proud of herself, " Mom Arien is intelligent. She knows everything".

Daniel asked the kids as he smiled at them, " What are you both doing here? Weren't you studying in your room?".

Arjen who held a book in his hand replied, " I can't seem to understand this and Arien doesn't know the answer either".

Daniel said as he looked at his little kids, " Come here. Let daddy help you".

Both approached their parents. Arjen showed a certain page on his book as he pointed towards a math question. Daniel looked at the question.

He looked at his two kids and asked, " If daddy gives 5 chocolates to Arjen and 5 to Arien then how much chocolates did daddy buy in total?".

Arjen and Arien both counted on their small cute little fingers. Arjen was mumbling as he counted on his hands, " 1, 2, 3, 4...".

After some time both kids replied in a sync, " 10".

Daniel said as he smiled and ruffled Arjen's hair, " Correct ".

He asked as he looked at his two kids, " So 5+5= ?".

Arien replied, " Ten".

Daniel patted Arien's head and smiled towards his kids. Arjen looked at his mother with puppy eyes as he said, " Mommy can you give Arjen kiss? Arjen too is a good boy ".

Winter picked Arjen in her hands as she leaned in closer and pecked him on his left cheek. Arjen said as he pointed towards his right cheek, " Mommy here too".

Winter smiled looking at her cute kid and pecked him on his left cheek too. Arien looked at Daniel with puppy eyes and he too understood her gaze. Daniel got up from the bed.

Daniel picked up his daughter in his arms as he pecked her on her forehead. Arien said, " Daddy is the best".

Suddenly sound of growling was heard. It was Arjen's stomach that made the growling sound. Daniel and Arien chuckled and winter smiled. Arjen was shy as he hide his face in his mother's hug.

Winter asked as she hugged her son, " Guess your tummy is hungry. Let's have food. Mommy has made your favorite dumplings".

Arjen immediately got up from his mother's lap and said, " I'll go and wash my hands".

Arien said as she got down from her father's arms, " Arjen wait for me" and followed arjen.

Winter and Daniel were smiling as they looked at their cute kids who were sweet and lovely. Winter said as she got up from the bed and was leaving the bedroom, " Let's have dinner. Kids must be hungry".

Daniel held her hand in order to stop her as he leaned closer to her face and whispered in her ear, " I'll take my reward tonight".

Winter tip-toed as she circled her hands around his neck and whispered in his ear. " I'll be sleeping with the kids today".

Daniel pecked on her lips as he replied, " I don't mind carrying you from kid's room to our bed".

Winter said, " Come for dinner fast" and left.
